Plo Koon's REAL Thoughts on Ahsoka Leaving the Order(CANON) - Explain Star Wars

- Опубліковано 22 вер 2024
- Today i reveal to you the deep thoughts that Master Plo Koon had during Ahsoka's trial and Ahsoka's decision to leave the Jedi Order once and for all...
How the jedi council feel about ahsoka leaving.
Yoda: sad
Plo koon: depressed
Obi wan: feels bad
Anakin: heart broken.
Everyone else: regret expelling her
Windu: Ehhh whatever. I have better things to do.
Jeffrey Chen thats what I hate about windu he basically ruined the whole universe just cuz he didn’t like anakin as a child
He's a piece of crap
He used to be may favorite Jedi but now I just don’t like him as much. He is still one of the most powerful Jedi but his personality is not great.
@@pookypoo1169 I know that I’m not supposed to say that, but I agree.
@@ahsokatanoskywalker2898
Wish u were still a Jedi
But then again, you wouldn't have dramatic scenes.
Keep amazing us
Most of the people that "apologized" to her didn't actually apologize. They mostly let Mace Windu speak for them, and he just excused their actions as "Her Great Trial". Only Plo Koon actually said "I'm sorry."
Uh yea, Mace was always a complete prick. I've never like Mace Windu. Other than Anakin Skywalker, Plo Koon was always my fav Jedi.
If it was "Her Great Trial" why didnt she got to jump straight to Jedi master category? Mace is quite a hipocrite
That's part of the problem I have with it. That was just about the last episode fully produced before the buy-out, so the EU wasn't Legends yet, and they reduced the significance of the Great Trials by only making her a Knight.
Yup. They way they handled it was very un-Jedi Like.
Sebas G Because she was a Padawan. Padawans can't jump from Padawan to Jedi Master.
They should have given plo koon a better death
Yep :(
you didn't see the body
I have always just thought he survived the crash and lived the rest of his life in hiding and no amount of proof will keep me from thinking my favorite jedi survived
monkeydust100 he didnt die. Theirs a comic explaining his survival.
Tbh he would have survived if he wasn't stuck in a cockpit
When Ahsoka left the Order, I can honestly say I was heartbroken. But at the same time, I knew this was the moment that accelerated Anakin's fall to the Dark Side.
And I don't blame Anakin for his raw anger at the Council. I'd have royally told them off for turning their backs on Ahsoka in the first place especially Mace Windu.
Yeah. And that moment probably sprang back to Anakin's mind when he was denied the rank of Master. The individual members of the Jedi High Council may have been the best in the Order, but the Council itself was totally inept when you really think about it.
I agree. I was very proud of her for leaving because I was so angry with the council. But at the same time, I wish she had never left Ani in the dust 😔 that was probably a big reason he turned to the dark side. he felt like he had failed his padawan, and he never got to finish training her 🥺
Just another reason why I am thankful that the Clone Wars cartoon series was created. Otherwise us the fans would have never cared much for any characters that did not receive screen time in the prequel trilogy.
I know right?! The show just seems to redeem the era and the third movie even more.
- When you see Obi wan ranting to Anakin when hes sliding into the lava you feel exactly what was lost in that moment.
- When you see order 66 executed and the named Jedi are slaughtered that really hits you.
- When you see Cody, Gree and so many of the other Clones either die or kill a jedi, you cant help but feel so sorry for them, because you know that most of them wouldn't have willingly done it without the brain chip.
I didnt even realize Commander Cody was in ROTS, even though i saw it in theaters, until i rewatched the order 66 scene afterwatch TCW series.
Plo Koon was always my favorite jedi, he's just better now that the clone wars happened.
All that does is prove you’re not actually a big time fan. Plo was in a ton of Star Wars content around Ep1. Videogames, comics, all of it. Filthy causals apparently know nothing about any of that. (Joking, but seriously, read a thing or two).
@@zeratul____1228 Lmfao. Redeem the era and the third movie? What tf are you even talking about…. ROTS didn’t NEED “rEdEeMeD” , it’s thee best film in the saga without debate. Stop repeating things you read trying to sound like you know what you’re talking about. You do not.
I'm pretty sure Plo Koon didn't agree with the rest of the council. Yoda says that they had come to a conclusion but they weren't in total agreement.
I always believed that Plo Koon and probably Obi Wan didn't agree with the decision and were simply forced to accept it.
It's just my personal thoughts.
I believe that too.
Definitely. Both of them knew her well, and knew even if she shared Anakin’s recklessness, she wouldn’t go and kill a bunch of clones and all the other stuff she was accused of.
Filipe Lobo I reckon plo koon obi wan and potentially kit fisto and yoda found her innocent
@@FollowersWithoutAnyVideo-rk6lu where did you read that? i'm genuinely curious
@@MBlto the driving factor to the fate of ashoka was majority rules. I am certain plo and obi wan were the ones to have found her Innocent. Seeing kit fisto was decently close with ashoka he prolly thought she was innocent too. Then again majority rules in this case. The main people pushing for her guilt were mace windu ki adi mundi shaak ti and saesee tiin and egan kolar
I remember crying when the episode came out. The clone wars we had seen her evolve and it was just crazy when she left.
Ronald Reagan oh boy Ronald Reagan.
It was a good episode to end on for that fact.
Ronald Reagan, but it's Ahsokas destiny
hello Mr President
I cried too!
Ahsoka thoughts on Plo Koon death
She probably was sad
Very sad
Victor Pereira I would love to see that
You can read about it in the Ahsoka novel. Quite a good book, no master piece but enjoyable.
I think that was an understatement. I think she was torn apart and the wound opened when she found out Vader was Anakin.
maybe Ahsoka accidentally bumped with the clone pilots, and killed them
In the book she talks about him
I love Plo Koon in the Clone Wars, and felt sorry for Ahoska, and it was sad to see her leave and knowing how Plo Koon felt. Thanks for the video btw.
You are very welcome my friend, and yes it was!
It only makes it even more devastating
@Troll uNeed You forget that the Jedi are more "You must watch your emotions", this was made clear how blunty the council expelled her from the order to be on trial as a criminal. that broke the trust between her and the order altogether because it showed the Jedi were arrogant and stupidly steadfast to their monk like ways.
@Troll uNeed It wasn't them that caused her to leave. If the order is going go turn on one of its own, hand her over to the republic for the sole purpose to appease the senatenjust so they can have someone's head, then it needs to be changed.
I don't think master Koon felt she was guilty, he just couldn't go against the council. I think he was devastated. He loved asohka like a daughter and had a very strong connection to her.
What if Plo Koon was Ahsokas Master
Renowned Council That will be interesting to see
ZoroMaster Gaming the thought literally came to my head while watching this
Renowned Council Still it will be awesome to see how that will turn out
Renowned Council hey that's pretty good
tascor 115502 thanks
I couldn't stop crying... I was so sad, and also mad. Especially at Mace because he didn't even have that balls to admit to his mistake and say he is sorry.
porgs for life IKR (regarding being mad at Mace Windu and his self-righteous bulls**t)?!?
It makes me THAT much more satisfied when he gets his face pumped full of Force lightning by Palpatine in Episode III! 😈😈😈
I agree completely. While Palpatine was the ultimate cause of the Clone Wars, it isn't like even HE made Mace Windu into the arrogant jerk that he became. Part of me is actually happy that Palpatine blasted Windu with massive amounts of Force Lightning.
I was pissed at Mace Windu too and I imagine that Anakin wanted to tear him apart for how he treated Ahsoka and for not apologizing to her for his obvious mistake.
Of course, Yoda could've kept Windu in check and overrode his opinion but instead, went along with the whole "kick Ahsoka out of the Order" doctrine due to political concerns plus he didn't apologize to Ahsoka either.
I never linked Windu, not in the movies, not in the animated series
No even in the Jedi Apprentice books.
Hey now there was a lot of evidence against her cant be too careful with all this strange stuff going on
I can imagine that Plo was absolutely devastated, and rightfully so. But I think he was very, very proud of Little 'Soka for finally proving that she was Mature enough to be her own woman. And while Ahsoka may not have reciprocated the Paternal love he had for her, he undoubtedly considered her that of his own kin, even after she departed.
Erin Ivy You can see it in his facial expression, especially his eye muscles moving up showing how sad and regretful he was when Ahsoka decided not to to back into the Order.
It is crazy emotion, I hold back tears each time I watch this scene
same 😪
I am a simple man. I see a video with plo koon in the title, I click.
You´re a smart man.
Same
Good7 Bad13 I have the exact same reaction XD
Very accurate
I respect you...
Plo Koon and Ahsoka's bond was definitely a father/daughter bond. I always enjoyed seeing them together as much as I enjoyed seeing Anakin and Ahsoka together.
Plo Koon and Ahsoka's relationship took it's toll and finally im"plo"ded.
Ow WOW, Awesome
This joke is "Ahs"
How did I feel when Ahsoka left the order? It hurt.
Same here.
Im-PLO-DEAD* rip
It was sad that she left, but it was the Jedi's own arrogance and stupidity that made her leave.
It is time for the Jedi to end. " Luke Skywalker"
Can you do one on Obi Wan, he also had a fairly close relationship with Ahsoka
Yeah he was literally the only jedi on the whole council who was protective of her and said that they couldn't expel her.
But Anakin did everything in his power to clear his sister “Ahsoka’s” name.
Plo Koon showed the courage and honesty to apologize to Ahsoka and admit in front of all, that "The council was wrong to accuse you." None of that mealy-mouthed crap like some of the others came up with. Yoda had previously said they weren't all in agreement about dismissing her from the order. No doubt master Plo was a dissenting voice from the jump. I always thought he was just a cut above!
i always assumed obi wan and plo were the ones and disagreed with the claims. After all of the council they knew her best. I also think its possible yoda didn't fully believe it but no real evidence of that
I don't doubt that members of the Council weren't convinced that Ahsoka was guilty BUT even they gave into the pressure from the Senate and threw Ahsoka under the bus anyway in the name of politics.
Plo Koon should've openly stated that he opposed the Council's decision and helped Anakin and Obi-Wan prove Ahsoka's innocence.
+ryan macdonald
Aren't the accused supposed to be innocent until proven guilty, not the other way around?
That's more of a US point of view that isn't a universal in many places.
Well the evidence was overwhelming that she was guilty...
That scene made me cry a bit. Plo Koon is one of my favorite jedi in all of star wars and seeing him sad is hard to handle seeing as he is normally so calm. Its painful to see.
Fun fancy: Barriss didn’t want to frame Ashoka but when she met Laylet, she had to kill her. Ashoka was just st the wrong place at the wrong time.
So I've heard. I've even read a fanfic where Barriss explains this to Ahsoka and tearfully apologizes to her for what she did to her which Ahsoka accepted as she'd been through much of the same crap that Bariss had been through.
Personally, I agree. Barriss would’ve framed anyone to cover her tracks, Ahsoka was unfortunately the one who stepped into that trap
Source?
But, why did Letta ask for Ahsoka specifically? Wasn't it Barriss who planted that idea in Letta's head?
I think if master Plo took Ahsoka's side she wouldn't of left. But I'm glad she left because of order 66, I would of been sad to see her die by Anakan's hand-- Or the Clone's
xxx ibeto She survived
supersonicdino I meant if she was at the temple when it happened.
Irish Nationalist that's true
that's the thing tho. order 66 may never of happened if she stayed.
her expulsion really shook Anakins faith in the Jedi order.
Um... she was on Mandalore with half of the 501st clones, she wasn't killed by clones, not even Maul killed her.
When Mace did not apologize and said it was all a trial and the force works in mysterious ways I love her look. Its the perfect "b1tch please" moment.
The Jedi Order was totally corrupted. It was time to abandon ship
Monster Monsterovich Ikr
Proving that it wasn't the sith that were evil, it was the jedi.
Paxlux The evil was the republic system, and gullible Members palps manipulated, but it was the jedi´s incompetence that led to them being perceived as evil.
Jedi were not evil, but foolish to be involved so deeply into the politics. In the end it made them blind.
Yeah, the Jedi Council's stupidity and elitism in passing judgements on everyone while not doing anything to help anyone unless the Senate allowed it /which was almost never/ made them poorly regarded by the masses which made Palpatine's job WAY easier.
I’m a simple 2000s Star Wars kid. I see Ashoka I click
Maddox Cindy in my book, the clone wars outranks everything
R33
I felt that losing Ahsoka was a major blow to because she held the old teachings of the Jedi close to her. And when she was framed and the Jedi expelled her it was like the Jedi betraying her and leaving her to the wolves. That itself told me that even if the most loyal of Jedi are suspected of murder, the Council will not give them a fair trail or hear their plea of innocence
2:43 Damn, Plo Koon's eyes start to widen. I never noticed that before. That's.... pretty sad actually.
Huh. I guess you’re right. They always looked a bit too... _metallic_ to do that
He did get more exposure than just the films. Aside from being in all prequel films, he was also one of the few playable characters in Jedi Power Battles for PS1/Dreamcast. He actually had a yellow lightsaber in the game
Honestly can we talk about the fan art at the beginning? It really good and deserves more attention.
There are few things in cinema that make me cry. Ahsoka leaving the Jedi Order is one of them. This is a great video!
This is all Mace's fault u forgot to add that part
TesterLite Mace didn't trust Ahsoka due to her close bond to Anakin & the fact she shared many of his traits such as a reckless nature & disregard for rules & regulations
But they also had their differences as Anakin had with Obi-Wan. Mace should've seen that.
Exactly. Mace Windu didn't trust Ahsoka for the reasons you mentioned plus because she was Anakin's apprentice and he didn't trust Anakin and saw him as dangerous and ready to turn on them in a heartbeat. Problem is, his bad attitude to both of them greatly contributed to Anakin falling to the Dark Side and betraying the Jedi Order.
Agreed. It almost served Mace Windu right.
Nah. I´m sure it was Putin.
No, wait... Wrong plot.
It’s real heartbreaking that Ahsoka and Plo Koon never saw eachother again, even a hologram meeting would’ve fulfilled enough showing their connection with eachother was still strong... but unfortunately it was too late when order 66 was initiated that they never reunited.
Gut renching moment. Honestly I felt more emotionally involved in this scene (and other scenes in the Clone Wars) than I ever did in the last Jedi..
or just in star Wars in general for me. A TV show formula just seemed to work better as we got to actually know the characters so when the emotional scenes do hit its much more effective.
Totally agree although I didn't see TLJ. Disney should let Dave Filoni make the movies and don't give him any restrictions. Then I might watch a new Star Wars movie (Saw TFA and it was terrible to me, like a punch in the stomach).
I loved how he always called her “Little Soka”
IMO, Plo Koon is one of the greatest Jedi at their end. His courage, combat skills are great but, more importantly his kindness and humility serve as an example other Jedi should aspire to. An example his peers on the counsel should have as well.
I was relieved to see her leave the order, knowing what would soon happen. It meant she'd survive. I never liked the Clone Wars era Jedi as an order anyway. Plo Koon was always a favorite though.
Yeah, the Clone Wars era Jedi were stagnant and too bogged down in politics for my liking plus they kept getting involved in increasingly iffy incidents and ignoring the plight of those less unfortunate. Also, they were becoming too distant from the common man and were coming across as being uncaring elitists who passed judgements on everyone else while doing nothing to help those in need.
There were some Jedi in the Clone Wars era Jedi Order that I liked a lot but as an organization, they failed miserably in protecting the Republic and while Sidious mucked things up behind the scenes, their ineptness made his job much easier. To add to all of this, they'd been gravely weakened from 1000 years of not having any serious opposition to contend with plus they embraced only the Light Side of the Force which weakened them even more as Force users need to embrace both sides of the force to be strong and balanced mentally.
Uhhhhh…….. clone wars season 7
In that episode, when Mace went off about Ahsoka’s “Great Trial”, I was amazed at the deflection of responsibility he did and the fact that he thought that those words were a good choice is a testament to his level of tone deafness.
This was the episode that made me realize what the sith were talking about when they said the Jedi were blind. The council hubris was what eventually drove Ani to the dark side.
Here because I just finished Season 5 again and that moment when Ahsoka understandably leaves is so sad. Question I've been asking myself is how none of the jedi were able sense her innocence or the treachery of Barriss. Palpatine's clouding of the force?
2:43-2:46 The moment you realize that out of all the Jedi in the frame, Plo Koon is the only one not hanging his head in shame.
All he can do is watch in shock and sadness as the girl, who was basically his daughter, runs away from the only home and family she's known...and that it was that very family who stabbed her in the back.
Ahsoka leaving broke my heart but the final scene hurt the worst was her final scene with anakin. She love him and honestly more than padme
I will always miss her. Ps. I enjoy your video they are short and tells the things easy and quick. Keep doing what you are doing because you are doing it right.
The first time I watched this episode when it came out I was pissed at the Jedi and found all their deaths in ROTS extremely satisfying
Really one of the most heart wrenching scenes in the series. I started watching this with my kids, and then totally got into it myself. Over the years, Ashoka was a family favorite. My youngest dressed up as Ashoka one halloween (Like I'm sure many did!), so yeah, I was choked up.
It´s fucked up when even the jedi figure thats pretty much like the equivalent of your father in the jedi council is turned against you.
I would like to see a relationship build between Ahsoka and Shaak Ti as they are the same species
this honestly makes me so sad because it was probably the last time that ahsoka and plo koon would see each other since he was on caito neimoidia when she came back in season seven :(
What I absolutely love about the scene where Ahsoka refuses Anakin's invitation to rejoin is that in the back, when we see Plo, you can tell he is absolutely surprised and devastated. Even with the goggles and mask, you can tell his eyes are widening in surprise and sadness as Ahsoka leaves, and his jaw (if the Kel-door had jaws) was on the floor. Such great details, that even masked, you can tell Plo is super surprised and sad.
I felt sad when Ahsoka left, But I was glad she wasn't just killed off in order 66 instead.
shadow swordsman Same dude, Same. It's the Jedi's fault! The force doesn't belong to the Jedi anymore!
Can't say I blame her for leaving. Why remain in an organization that quickly lost trust in you and presumed you guilty until proven innocent. Then arrogantly said, "My bad, why don't you come back?" The evidence against her was weak.
Hello there
General [Insert name here]
BessY general ben simple but remember I am an emperor
General kenobi
General Reposti!
I feel that it was a good thing that she left. Yea she came back for a short time to go after maul on Mandelore. But had she come back at this point she may have been killed possibly by Anakin himself in the Jedi Temple. During order 66. Maybe u can make a video on that?
I don't think all the things would happen that lead to order 66 if Ashoka would have stayed in the Jedi order. Anikan had a deep relationship with Ashoka and cared much about her. She had a lot of influence on him. I believe her leaving the Jedi order was one of the first steps for Anikan to doubt in the Jedi.
HeyThereVader I believe that if Ahsoka stayed, she would have survived using her wits and would have regrouped with Obi-Wan and Yoda and would have gone with Obi-Wan to take care of Ahsoka
Anakin wouldn't have killed Ahsoka. She would probably be killed by a Clone. He liked her almost as much as Padme
Exactly! Although it could go south should the troopers kill her. But then again, he would turn against the empire not with soo yeah. I think things would turn out very different.
Miguel Pereira yeah maybe he would try to make her come to hes side
Have to respect Plo Koon, other than Anakin he was the only gave a Ahsoka a *real* apology.
Just imagine we saw Rex and Ahsoka getting “killed” on Mandalore as a deleted scene in ROTS
I was very sad about Ahsoka leaving, but I think she was right because nobody trusted her!😔
Same. I probably would have done the same if almost everybody on the Jedi Council didn't trust me and thought I was capable of murder.
I almost stopped watching the rest of the series because of this. Ahsoka was and is one of my favorite characters.
Nice
Plo Koon was the only Jedi who truly apologized to Ahsoka; the others scapegoated their error on the Force "working in mysterious ways" and tried to make up for their mistake by welcoming Ahsoka back into the Order with what felt more like a bribe in offering to perhaps promote her to Jedi Knight in lieu of her supposed "grant trial"
Though I was sad to see Ahsoka walk away from the Order, I was more proud than sad. The consequences of what would likely have occurred not withstanding, Ahsoka basically slapped their offering hands and wordlessly said 'Screw you'. She saw their offer for what it was and refused to be a part of an institution that had become corrupt in its own way any longer. Instead of admitting they had been wrong and truly apologizing, the Council tried to save face in order to maintain an image that was obviously tarnished with their arrogance and self-righteousness, Mace, Yoda, and Tiin most of all, and even Obi-wan.
Qui-gon Jinn was right that the Jedi Council had become too involved in the political affairs of the Republic Senate and were losing their faith in the guidance of the Force, as well as faith in their own members that they disregarded Ahsoka's character and caved into the Senate's demands because of the evidence against Ahsoka that was obviously overwhelming.
If I was a Jedi in their Order, I would not allow their ways to rule the whole of my life. If it came down to it, I'd leave the Order to show them that, though I was a Jedi, it was MY life and I would entrust my faith in the Force instead of the Jedi's rigid and outdated traditions
Plo koon is my favourite Jedi and commander wolf is my second favourite clone trooper fives has to be my favourite clone trooper
Every episode from the clone wars ever finished with the same happy song. But the last episode from season five ended with a heartbreaking song, and of course with so many tears.
The series suffered from her leaving. She was a vital and interesting character. Her absence was keenly felt until Rebels.
Every single time I hear something awesome about Plo Koon, how he’s one of the better Jedi and how his Commander didn’t even execute order 66; makes me feel so depressed that he was killed off and in a terrible way.
I was so sad when ashoka left but now she's a badass :D
As a piece of character and storytelling it was an amazing moment, it was so sad. That’s the moment I knew I loved the show.
I wander what Ahsokas thoughts were of her friend Plo Koon after she left the order?
I think Asohka leaving might also have been a factor that turned anakin more towards the dark side. Then when the Jedi refused to give him council status then that totally shifted the tides from light to dark but I still think this played a role
My Thoughts when Ahsoka left the order: "Oh good she's not gonna get gunned down like an animal by clones."
The friendship between Plo Koon and Ahsoka is one of the big reasons I want to see Plo Koon in the revival of the Clone Wars we're getting (but also because he's one of my favorite Jedi). We already know we're going to see Ahsoka for what's at this point obviously going to be the Siege of Mandalore, but like, some Plo and Ahsoka interaction there would be 10/10 to see
When she left the jedi order I stopped watching clone wars
Arguably one of the best written episodes of the Clone Wars series. Ahsoka started out as a character not well received by many fans, but became a fan favorite. Her introduction to the Rebels series was a genius move by Dave Filoni.
HE WAS MY FAVORITE JEDI WHYY DIEEEEE????!!!!
honestly i knew it was barriss before the episode aired and yes i support Ahsoka decision to leave the order i would have done the same thing. these Jedi are powerful and they were Master and knows the ways of the force and they were blind sided by a padawan i wonder how Luminara Unduli reacted when Barriss Offee was responsible
Plo Koon Should have been ahsoka master instead of Anakin.
migs player He really should of, by the end of the Clone Wars series, she wouldn't have been protested against and she would have definitely of being a more powerful and a better overall Jedi. She most likey would have survived Order 66 or maybe even saved Plo Koon's life (If only)
@@BenjaVOM nah
life its badass the Nah what?
This duet was such a cute thing) I feel sad for Plo that he was forced to make a decision he hated to make 😔... In the series we can see that he and Obi-Wan were feeling sorry for Ahsoka...
P.S. It would have been interesting if Plo taught Ahsoka the Electric Justice (the Force Lightning performed by a Jedi) 😏
Finally.
Tbh I cried when she left she is one of my favorite characters and seeing how she grew stronger and an amazing Jedi Padawan was amazing!! Thank you for the video it was amazing as well I always love videos of Ahsoka and PLO he’s also on of my favorites
First
I remember seeing somewhere that Plo Koon was the only jedi other than anakin that believed Ashoka was innocent. That proves that he was by her side to the very end
I wasnt sad that she left i was sad because the show got cancelled so i will never now what happened to ashoka
obama bin ladin watch rebels
There's a book covering the events between this point and rebels.
She’s in rebels
Rebels
I shed the first tear in many years when I saw her leaving.
TRAITOR
Vanessa Auguste ashoka
Vanessa Auguste i know, its a joke because ashoka was framed to be the traitor
Vanessa Auguste i hope you're being ironic
I cried and wept when Ahsoka left. And when she returned in Rebels. The clone wars was my childhood and it has taught me so many lessons.
I didn't want Ahsoka to get killed in Order 66, so I was actually glad that she did leave the Jedi order because at the time I thought she wouldn't be in danger of getting killed in Order 66, but they of course ended up doing a Clone Wars episode of putting her in danger via Order 66, but either case I'm glad she survived.
I was actually glad that Ahsoka Tano left the order because I knew she would survive Order 66 as a result.
Of course I didn't know at the time that she was going to get caught up in it anyway later, but the above was my thought when she left the Jedi order.
This is so frustrating because Ahsoka leaving could have been prevented if the Jedi just owned up to their mistakes, which might have caused Anakin to not turn to the dark side.
I was glad that Ahsoka left the Jedi Order because I knew that would likely raise her chances of surviving Order 66 when it happened.
There are few movies, moments, events, and games that drive me to tears. Whether it be tears of sadness, joy, or simply emotional overload, and this moment when Ahsoka left the temple for good, it hurt so much. I ended up crying in the dark just trying to take in the event and understand my emotions about it. The Jedi Temple Bombing Arc is one of my favorite of the Clone Wars animated series.
Plo koon is the Jedi I most wished had survived order 66 and it would have been amazing for him and Ashoka to reunite at some point
I made me really sad, My heart still breaks to even think or watch this scene again.
I don’t think Plo Koon could have voted against Ahsoka in the hearing. Yoda, Plo, Obi Wan and maybe Shaak Ti probably voted against. Obi Wan knee Ahsoka so well and didn’t want to upset Anakin, so he would have had to vote on Ahsokas side. From what I can tell of Shaak Ti, she was not the kind to do this kind of thing. But then I could be wrong. Yoda and Plo practically raised Ahsoka and you could hear the sadness in Yodas voice when he said “Although not in full agreement are we”. If any Jedi were ok Ahsokas side, it was those ones.
It was one of the most tear jerking moments in the Star Wars saga. Ashoka leaving the order was the major catalyst for anakin turning to the dark side!
Ahoska was one of the final steps in Anakins turn to the dark side. She was his moral compass.
It was very when Ahsoka left they made it an emotional moment and once the theme started playing during the credits it made me feel more emotional than I thought it would
in my opinion Ahsoka made the right choice in leaving and here is why:
- She had become a much wiser force wielder then she would have if she stayed
-She learned to listen to the force, same way as Qui-Gon did
-She could do what needed to be done to bring down Maul
Master Plo Koon was the best Father figure he ever has. But it's heartbroken to see her leave.
I'm sure he was devastated that she left, but if he had lived to see what she became he would have been proud. In all current Star Wars Ashoka is the one character who remains the story that got it right. She remained true and pure whilst the Jedi became corrupted and was destroyed twice! Ashoka is the only one who is truly balanced in the Force.
Plo Koon was the only one who truly apologized. He even says "The Councel was wrong to accuse you". He CALLED them out. And even at her trial Yoda mentions "Not all in agreement are we". He may have been the ONLY one who came to her defense but was over ruled by everyone else. I am sure Obi Wan probably was on her side as well
I loved the first episode of Tales of the Jedi but I am absolutely gutted we didn’t see Master Plo take Ahsoka to the temple as he was the one who took her there, yes Anakin was her master but Plo was like a father figure to Ahsoka calling her “Little Soka” gets me all the time and that he showed his wisdom to Ahsoka and heart that she carried throughout the clone wars. Plo for example cared more about the clones than the mission and when Ahsoka needed to survive order 66 she still refused to kill the clones even when her mission was to survive. She learn the skills from Anakin but her heart comes from Master Plo. I feel like a opportunity was missed here
I loved how Plo Koon was among the few to apologize to Ahsoka and how he stopped Obi Wan from stopping Anakin going after Ahsoka.
Aside from his arrogant line”we are justice” I found Plo Koon to be one of the most humble Jedi of the Order. Among Yoda and Kenobi, Plo Koon is one of the wisest and most empathetic. The rest are just too blinded by their own dogma. Too detached from the people they protect.
