  • I was only 11 years old when the finale of Clone wars fifth season premiered, yet I have to confess that this story arc had an insane emotional impact on myself, and probably countless amounts of people that had followed the clone wars series from the very beginning. In this video I go into detail about this awesome Ashoka arc, that changed my outlook on Revenge Of The Sith and Star wars as a whole.

    You’re legit speaking straight from my heart, man. Nailed this. Prime Star Wars indeed. I’m about to finish reading the junior novelization of Revenge of the Sith to my 7 year old daughter, and I’m devastated that she didn’t get Ashoka’s story alongside Anakin’s. So much essential richness.

    Amazing point of view! And yes Ahsoka's story is wonderfully written.
    They had to remove her to justify her absence on the third movie, but still, they did it brilliantly!
    I love Ahsoka e I hope to see so much more content with her

    I would rather just be a force user outside both the Sith and Jedi orders. No indoctrination forced upon you, just learning more about the Force and helping individuals who need it. No politics, torture, war afflicting you as a young child soldier.

    Officially she became a force sensitive Outcast, a person who is neither a Jedi or a Sith, but has the power of the force

    0:09 that body language/acting suggest why Ashoka should be played by a 'person of color' in a live action role. Also this particular scene immediately reminds me of Harrison Ford ........ as Richard Kimble/'Peter Pan' in The Fugitive (1994).

    Unfortunately the *Live Action show*
    Made her Character worse.
    By a lot. And I rarely watch new material these days.

    I don't know man, I just didn't get it. All felt really forced and melodramatic to me. I was like, 20 when it came out so maybe that has something to do with it. I kinda grew out of the kiddie bullshit.

      Kiddie bullshit? I have seen grown adults awfully crying because of this arc and the season 7 finale, how is this kiddie bullshit?

    In the Revenge if the Sith, Windu and his partners didn't care about the laws of the Galactic Republic, and they attacked Palpatine, because they wanted to save the Jedi Order and the Republic from the Sith. So this "push out Ashoka " was "needed" so Filoni could start this "All the jedi are bad, but Ahsoka is good" story. Which is bad. So the jedi masters, the members of the Council are all dumb. Their knowledge, their experience all mean nothing,but Ahsoka the teenage girl who doesn't like the rules, she knows everything, she's always right, etc.
    So Yoda and Obi-Wan=piece of shit, Ahsoka =perfection.
    You really don't think it is a bad story?

    • @TheMahayanist
      @TheMahayanist 9 місяців тому +2

      That story wasn't Filoni's, that same energy was in the prequels and in legends. The Jedi Order's teaching is what caused Anakin to fall to the Dark Side.
