I was disappointed when I found out the bottle wasn't glass, and no longer disappointed when I saw how you got the boat in. That's so simple and clever, I love it.
1. That is simply amazing
2. That clear is insanely clear!!!
That oil does wonders I guess.
No way. Uncle Jessy is here
Wow that's incredible. Wouldn't have guessed it isn't a glass bottle from the thumbnail. Great post processing and I'm glad to see you wearing gloves while handling the resin. Really great video.
the Pause Button Open the 5th Dimension
4th, and literally. Time. The bottle is shifted into existence layer by layer as it travels in time (at standard 1s per s forward), by the printer.
The pause button stops the process before the geometry of the bottle is finalized, allowing the benchy to be put in.
This level of quality is amazing. Love it!!
thank you so much!
Yeaa... Costs about an arm and a leg though ( both the Machine *_AND_* their Resins )
never new 3d printed stuff could be this clean looking wow
I knew about sticking stuff in fdm prints, but i never thought about sticking anything in resin. Thats epic!
Will have a whole video about the concept soon!
In version 2, you should (have someone) blow a glass bottle around a Benchy that is printed in a material that will survive the temp of being inside when the glass is blown closed.
please print another glass bottle but with very thin walls and smash it
Clever! Looks super nice
the bottle looks so real though
such a simple way of doing it, and executed incredibly well, nice job
Resin printers are kinda epic
Brilliant!
Absolutely fantastic! The post processing paid off so well, great work!
Still so cool
This is such a cool idea
I was expecting it to be a more traditional build
Good job!
Fantastic. I was going to joke about how you should have just printed the bottle around the benchy, but then it turned out that's exactly what you did!
Looks so realistic! Amazing idea and realization!
thank you!
Came here from Joel's video... Great idea... Nice job!
Insanely cool
this reminds me of when my friend tyler got his finger stuck in a bottle
That is very smart.
Can't help singing "Benchy in a Bottle" to the tune of "Message in a Bottle" by The Police.
I can't even have unique thoughts these days
Now I'm starting to wonder if all ships in bottles are just made this way and we've all been lied to in a sense where they made it look loads harder than it actually is.
AIUI the traditional way to do a ship in a bottle is to put the sails on hinges such that the ship can be folded down into a form that is just about small enough to fit through the neck of the bottle. Then strings are pulled to raise the sails after the ship is in the bottle.
Lovely. And I still don’t really get what resin printing is - it seems like magic to me lol
Oh no! He’s hot!
Okay but fr: feels like a magic trick in that once you know it feels obvious. did not expect you to print the bottle haha
Neat.
Adam Savage's @tested Needs to see this
Wooooow. Resins are getting insanely good.
🤔 need try to put into bottle TPU(or other flexy) benchy
Nice, awesome idea. Does it have to stay wet with mineral oil to keep the inside from clouding?
Imagine how trippy it is to hold something that looks like glass and has the shape of a glass object but is just plastic lol
Simply brilliant
You earned my sub.
Blown away by every part of this video lol, the camera editing, the concept and execution, the clearness of the resin (I've never been able to get glass like clear resin prints)
Very well done sir 👏
Really cool idea and build, amazing job! I wonder if this would be possible in FDM with the bottle printed in clear PETG and 1-2 line wall width.
I guess I'd just shove a TPU Benchy into a coke bottle. But your way is definitely more elegant.
Just... awesome. I didn't even thinking about that the bottle is not regular glass bottle.
Clear V5!!!!! 🗣️🗣️🗣️
Love the creativity of this. Well done 👍
Insane that you can 3D print transparent plastic.
Its a shame SLA printers are not suitable for dual colors, else you could have printed the benchy within the bottle
There is a huge market in this, i can see it someone taking this and blowing up. Well done
Damn that is incredible work. Great job!
This guy moves like a blender animation
Amazing work as always!
Fantastic editing, and such a cool result. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!
Pfft, now print a bottle inside a benchy!
It’s still a boat in a bottle, but for 3d printer people 😂
I thought a flexible material was used?
Didn't know that the new resin printers/washers have been so hassle free to use!
WOW, genius idea.
what 3d program you are using?
What plastic did you use for a bottle?
As it’s made of resin can I throw it on the wall?
technically you can throw anything on the wall
Lord please tell me you’ll sell these
я расстроен поскольку ожидал безумный 3д принтер который бы печатал кораблик прямо внутри стеклянной бутылки .
Wow. That's awesome.
Really cool idea and realization! This video should have millions of views!
fingers crossed! 🤞 Thanks for helping me get there!
wow. you can do that with resin too?
What resin for the bottle?
Bottle cap? Cork?
What resin is that clear?
big brain time
so cool!
Very clever. Ive never thought of doing that on a resin printer. Seems kinda risky.
Never thought of using mineral oil to improve the opacity of transparent resin. That's genius
cool!
what an amazing and outstanding level of quality, you're truely a master! 😊💪
you should coat and cure a thin layer of resin to improve transparency
POV: I have just 3D printed you.
That actually looks like a real glass bottle, interesting!
clever
relatable content ;P kidding, this is amazing.
the BENCHY was FAKE
NUH UH! :(
Great idea great video, congratulations !
Ok now do it with a glass bottle
Cool idea and great execution!
Greatest 3D print I’ve ever seen
Crazy cool..
that is crazy
Bwoah
Blew my mind. So awesome!
Awesome!
Cooool ❤
Please make more videos
You got it!
