Haven't warn a watch for decades, but the Tsuyosa caught my eye as soon as I saw it. The case that seamlessly transforms into the band looks great and the crown at 4 o'clock makes it less vulnerable, while I find it an appealing design touch. To top it off, it has a scratch free sapphire window. I've owned the watch for have a year now and no regrets at all.
I saw this on wrist for the first time today. What a great looking watch. The blue dial was soft yet still an eye catcher. Bracelet was also a surprise and made the watch look far more expensive. I love Citizen.
Back in the early 90's I took up Scuba diving. Really got hooked. Finished up just short of instructor at PADI Dive Master. Along that journey I bought a Citizen Aqualand diver. Loved it. Measured your depth in 100 mm increments, alarms for ascent speed, depth limit and time. Brilliant piece of kit. Kept going wrong though and very expensive to repair which put me off. Many years later I now have a good and eclectic collection. New to vintage. My wife has bought me a black Tsuyosa for Christmas. Feel like a little kid again, can't wait to get my hands on it.
Great watch indeed!! Amazing accuracy, dimensions and colour variants! If only it had a rating of 100m water resistance, it would be the only watch you really ever need!!
God I love it... it looks so good. Classy, refined, yet has the look of something with an extra 0 on the end of the price. Plus since it's so affordable you can actually wear it and not have to worry. I'm a fan!!
I recently bought this watch in this very same colour and I love it. Being a woman I was a little concern that it could be a little too big for my wrist but after two weeks of wearing it feels very confortable. The reflection on the date cyclops is the only thing that annoys me about this piece. For around 280€ I think value for money of this watch is superb
I've had my red dial pvd rose gold one for about a week now. The lume and the clasp could both do with an upgrade, but otherwise, I really like it a lot.
Great video. How does it feel in the hand? Does it have a have heavy weight? I have the Promaster SST in gunmetal grey. The watch is quite heavy which I like.
My ice blue tsuyosa didnt come in a round box like that? It came in a square box with a white lift up top. I bought it straight from the citizen site itself.
Excellent review so detailed it really made me easy to buy at exactly at this moment. Thank you and pls keep it up with those reviews for other things. Good Luck 🎉😊
Is it too big for a 6.7 inch arm? I am really debating which color is best for me, do you have any advice? I'm a 22 year old guy and i want a more of a everyday clean type of a watch. Do like the ice blue one a lot tho
Nice, I just got the yellow one. I like the back side of the bracelet a lot better. it would match the case size better if the bracelet would look like the underside of it. More angular and minimal
perfect dimensions and perfect colors.... big fan but it is not really Tiffany blue is it ? it is sky blue... I have lots of, ice blue, platinum, viking blue, saphire blue, sky blue, turquoise and tiffany blue watches... from Spain
I'm waiting for my green dial to come in the mail. Correct me if I'm wrong. And I love citizen watches. But the watch they're calling Yellow looks more like a light colored pumpkin to me.!! This is yellow.😮
Hi, I just bought this watch and I have some play on the clasp when it is locked. It seems to come from the part that carries the buttons used for unlocking it. Do you also have a bit of play on yours?
I can't help myself, and ofc im going to buy the yellow one. BUT makes no sense to buy a £300 watch with a £50 movement. If it wasnt the dial, i wouldnt even think about it.
I have a question every time my husband removes the watch for the day the next morning it has stopped and he has to reset the time. Is this supposed to happen?
How active is your husband, for example if he sits at an office desk all day then the watch may not be getting a full wind due to his lack of movement. If that’s the case he may have to consider winding the watch manually before wearing it. If he’s on his feet all day with lots of movement the watch should run for approximately 40 hours when he takes it off, if not then it may be faulty
All these "integrated bracelet" watches look HUGE ... something wrong with the geometry, fitting a circle inside an angled case... I'll stick with "normal" watches ... but still an #attractive offer. Automatic, well done (beside that clasp 😂) at an affordable price ❤
Tool watches are generally brushed rather than polished, both are prone to scratching but a brushed finish hides them easier, a polished surface will show scratches and smudges more readily. Then there is the option of different metals and treatments that can add more or less protection
I bought one and my jeweler had the black, Tiffany blue and green in stock. First thing she said to me was the light blue is too feminine looking. I got the green.
Hopefully you can help. I have been trying to find out what the difference is between this Citizen Tsuyosa NJ0151-53M and the Citizen Tsuyosa NJ0151-88M which looks identical to this. For all I can tell they look the same to me and even have the same name. I'm curious because I found one I'm looking to buy at a better price but it's the 88M instead of the 53M... I figured you or someone here might know the difference. Thanks!
I think it might be the way different markets reference the watch, its typical to find Seiko's with different references in the USA, UK and Asian markets, Citizen might have the same structure
They have a small sec dial super titanium case & bracelet in Europe for only 70-80 USD more. Great textured dial. Otherwise similar specs. Waiting for them in the states. NJ0180-80A
Love all the colours, but I'll have to get the white dial variant, which they released after the others. If I am not mistaken, that is, correct me if I am wrong.
That red and gold from 2022 is fire. In fact any of those from 2022 and Japan I like. Here though the 2023 line up is $595 cdn and 13% tax is added on. Or 509£ plus an extra 13% :( lame.
@LastWatch it may be. Depends on shipping and possible import fees. I'd have to research that further if I were going to get one. I'm thinking I want to save up for a grail to me watch so if that's the way I got I'll be holding off on this and others, for a while.
Great video and review keep up the good work, you sound perfect for this type of work, keep on posting the videos I am sure you’ll be very successful if you put in the tough work and keep going, best of luck for the future, thank you.
@LastWatch The Citizen AW5000-24E or ANY of their Eco-drive watches. Citizen make some great watches, but this one (for me) would be one of their least desirable watches they make.
Very nice. Can never go wrong with Citizen.

I got a 61-6818 Citizen automatic watch for my late grandfather and it still operates perfectly after so many years
I've got the beautiful Sunburst turquoise and I absolutely love it. Good solid everyday watch.

The Tsuyosa is a great watch in any colour, enjoy when you finally get to unwrap it
This color is just perfect , for the price nice watch
Bought the yellow one as soon as it came out. It's a very good watch for the money.
The early bird catches the worm
The second mouse gets the cheese.
I have the yellow also. Great piece! Looking at Tiffany blue version also
I'w got yellow citizen, but nights lights are very poor.I cant see the time.
Citizen are so underrated. Fantastic time piece. They have an excellent collection of time pieces.

God only does wondrous things. Amen 🙏
bought the turquoise a few days ago and in my opinion..... the more beautiful dial by far..... master purchase....

They should release a unisex size like 34mm for women or guys with small wrists. 40 is still big. Rolex has them at only 36mm.
38 or 39 is the sweet spot.
would have bought one if it was 35 or 36mm
If it's a dive watch. Those are great sizes. But for an everyday sports watch, that's a little big.@@chinaboss6683

Get the Casio one for $60 and save a bit hehe
"Tiffany blue" lmao they really want to be associated with Tiffany so hard dont they? Its Ice blue, light blue, whatever. But not "Tiffany" blue

It's nearly there but I guess they have to hold something back for the next tier
Also change font of the logo (Sans Serif) and add lume to the second hand, and remove date or cyclops.

@@designborovitsky5247 I actually like the cyclops very much in this watch

Surely moving your arm is a regular daily activity, if not try winding it
Got the Tiffany Blue. Great looking watch. Forgot to size it at the store though.
You need to treat yourself to some watch tools
The dark blue looks classy next to the polished steel. The 40 mm will look great on my 7.75 inch wrist (19.7 cm).
If this was a little smaller at around 37 I would snag it in a heartbeat.
I hope they do a smaller version... perfect gift for my daughter

A daring choice
@LastWatch Most of my watches are pretty conservative, but that colour combination really caught my eye.
Great video. How does it feel in the hand? Does it have a have heavy weight? I have the Promaster SST in gunmetal grey. The watch is quite heavy which I like.
This would be on the lighter side
I had one and I sold it for a profit. It is a beautiful watch
A Citizen with Rolex benefits
I wish they would offer straps for it like Tissot does for the PRX
Lets hope so
thanks for wearing the watch properly, above the wrist bone. Not sure why some people wear in on top on their hands.
Not sure why some people wear just below elbow
Most uncomforatble

Round links on the bracelet while the body of the watch features a more square design is a big flaw for me on a minimalist integrated bracelet watch.
