You def don’t have to justify having a nice wallet and being low income. Even if it wasn’t a gift, just because you have low income doesn’t mean you don’t deserve nice things! You don’t owe anyone an explanation. 💕 I hope you have a good anniversary!

If you guys are looking to get a phone plan together and your phones are payed off you can get on a family plan through a prepaid company. Like Metro by T-Mobile. It’s way more affordable than actually being with T-Mobile. You can keep your same numbers. Plus They use the exact same towers as T-Mobile. I already told my hubby we are switching bc rn we are paying way to much for 3 lines. 😓

Hey! So I just got my citizenship last month. You don't pay more if you want dual citizenship. As long as you don't denounce your other country citizenship you will keep it. I paid a total of 2000$ with an attorney. Good luck! You can also just renew your 10yr GC if it is cheaper at the moment for you.

Some banks have a "holiday savings" (pays out in November) and "vacation savings" (pays out in May) that earn a little more interest than a regular savings. It's better than the money sitting in your wallet not earning any interest. Just make sure that you aren't being charged any fees and that you can withdraw the money without any penalties if an emergency comes up and you need it.

I’m the same way I always say I’ll put some aside for myself. Yet never do it, I usually put it towards bills or just for my siblings that ive raised like my kids. Once In a blue moon I would get a little something but then I would be made to feel like a bad person once I did. So then I just wouldn’t do it.

    Hey!
    I want to say I think you're doing a great job :)
I'm not sure if you do, but buying clothes for Mia that are actually too big on her might help keep costs down. You won't have to go shopping for clothes for her so much and they'll last longer. I know how babies grow quickly so it's just a thought. I know my mother bought things MUCH bigger than I needed and eventually I just grew into them. Also a lot of clothes when I was young and growing (so wouldn't be in for a long time) came from thrift shops.

Don't stress everything. Find a method that works for you by mixing strategies. My brother in Manila and I help my mom figure out sending funds there when I visit her
