DK Mehta ( Naseeruddin Shah ) and Indu ( Shahana Azmi ) live a peaceful, prosperous life with their two sweet daughters. One Day DK receives a words that he has an illegitimate son born from a brief fling he had with a woman. who is now dead. the nine year old boy Rahul (Jugal Hansraj) needs a Home. despite indu's objections who is devastated to learn of her husband's infidelity, DK bring Rahul Home. while Rahul tries to find a place in the new home, Indu is caught in a dilemma. she can neight be hostile towards the innocent naive child nor can she bear to look at the tangible reminder of her husband's infidelity . the Film gracefully captures the nuanced intricacies and fragility of human relationships.
