Love from Arunachal Pradesh.
I am 22 years old and I love this song🤗😍.
Arunachal people surprisingly know lot of old songs
@@robbeein123 we cherish listening to a classical song. Most of us watch Classical Bollywood Movies too💚. As Arunachal Pradesh is the land of Unity in Diversity, the Hindi language unites us. So, there is nothing to be surprised about🤗.

I am Indian,
These songs are ahead of their time. Even in 2024 bollywood is unable to make a beautiful song half of this quality ❤
Music Directors and Singers of that era were genuine and Singers could sing difficult tunes composed by those Music Directors. I am 70 now and I used to listen to these songs on radio in my college days....They are immortal...
Whenever I listen these songs my memory goes back all places I had visited right from my childhood. I am 57.
Shankar - Jaikishan in 50s were giving music that we will still admire in 2050s! Pyar hua - iqraar hua- great lyrics.

These are melodious soulful songs of 1950's and 1960's! when meaningful songs were created by music directors, lyricists, singers and enlivened on the screen by the actors! Only to be appreciated by the music lovers irrespective of time or period or generations !
yea
why today's bollywood is impractical and stuck to meaningless items numbers and party songs
After 2011 , I left listening the new songs except very few
Hope music industry would recover soon

Its songs like this that keep the Indian diasphora connected. Thank you Indian cinema and everyone in it who sacrificed so much for this industry from its early days.
During the 70's, as a child we did not have a radio or transistor at home, while going to school i used to stand outside neighbors house and listen to these songs and how melodious even today after 60-70 years wonderful, soulful, tears roll down my eyes when i connect the simple life to these songs, today I have lots of gadgets for songs but my soul remains empty, randomness is a great thing
I fell in love with these timeless oldies when I was 7. Grew to love them more as a Radio Host in Trinidad and now they are indelibly etched in my psyche. I listen and enjoy all the time.

Most of these songs were possible because of Hinduism! I even listen some from Bengali. Many songs have root in Sanskrit - this made me interested in Hinduism. Now, i reverted back to Hinduism from Islam! Subhanallah! Jai Sri Krishna!

when I was a kid rather a toddler in 1965-69...my uncle used to listen to Indian songs on radio early in the morning while getting ready for office..then in eighties, on roof top in my village, the All India Radio used to play old songs at 2200 hours...fantastic memories..
I was born in 2008 but I wish that old era where Radios were only way to relax, way better than these useless internet nowadays. and TV were very rare in villages, people used to sit together and used to watch Ramayan and other hows. :)

Each and every word, stanza - and above all so light music having a meaning. Unlike today's songs like Ramba ho ho ho, me nachu tum nacho, ramba ho ho ho. Thanks to Bappi Lahiri Sir. No meaning of words. Only heavy music. At the same time, young generation of date, likes disco DG and all alike setups.
