In my opinion It doesnt make sense to have jabbas barge without recreating the whole scene. People remember that scene not necessarily the barge itself. Should have the skiffs and the sarlac pit. Even if they charged another 50 bucks or so. Its not like its the milennium falcon or an x wing, where the style/design of the ship is whats memorable
Yep! The way Lego are trying to force people to buy another set on top of this in order to complete the scene is a money grab. I can understand the set being just the barge (as it is a UCS collection set) if it was about $300
It should have contained a second skiff with more of Jabba’s goons for $500. In the movie there are two skiffs and we can buy the one with the hero’s and sarlac pitt but what about the bad guy skiff and those minifigs. Lego blew it there.
The fact they separated this into two sets coming to a total of nearly $600 is a joke honestly. The skiff (or two) should be in the $500 set, zero excuses
@@TalkingBrickheadzsort of agree with you. But then a lot of people would complain that they should’ve released the hero skiff separately. I thin’ at the very least they should’ve included a second skiff with a few extra bad guy minifigures. I mean that’s how they did it with the UCS ATAT- the ATAT has room for 4 speeder bikes (when fully loaded) but they only included 2 speeder bikes in the set but they also had the Snowtrooper battle pack with a speeder bike out at the same time. Would’ve just made more sense to at the very least include a second skiff in with the sail barge! 🤔🤷🤣
A second skiff with some Weequay was a necessity for this set. The fact that neither the barge nor skiff and sarlaac pit has the Weequay guards is wild. If they added the second skiff, one or two weequay guards and included a few more aliens like Saelt Marae, J'Quille and Shasa Tiel it would have definitely been worth $500
Really expensive but is really a €300/350 set Looks great, even though the deck is rather plain. Love the new Leia except maybe for the swimming trunks, a rather bland, but fairly detailed interior, C3PO should be the highest quality one available, disappointed by the low quality of the barge figurines (Vizam, Kithaaba, Woof) and the relatively small number of figurines overall. Space being an issue, I just purchased the older playset for 229€ and I feel quite happy and a bit relieved by my decision. I already have the Rancor set and Jabba's palace so I can use some of the figures from there. Going to buy the new desert skiff on sale. It looks great! 👌
If they went with the 300€ price I think people would be less annoyed by the clear issues the set has. The figures are such an insult to include and ask people to pay so much for! Congrats on your new purchase! I think you made a wise decision

Niiice!
Not a bad set but half the figures are lazy/questionable
I like the line up as a concept but the delivery? Womp womp
4:30 There should have been an easter egg to Pizza the Hutt
Missed opportunity 🤣
