Ultra blasters seem like they are better for cosmetic/cosplay use rather than at blaster battle events. The 2 can be painted up into an AMAZING hand-cannon for any number of settings. The Select is an AMAZING carbine profile. And, the Strike here has a pretty fantastic DMR aesthetic.
That's what's always sucked the most for me about this line. I could care less if they were like the roblox blasters were they look bad and perform badly. These (and that turquoise on elite 2.0) appeal to me so much on an aesthetic level but man do they blow as actual blasters.
It's a big fancy AMP reskin with extra features and a bigger mag. Think of it as the Cam ECS-12, which was... a big fancy Stryfe reskin with extra features and a bigger mag. Edit: the bigger platform does mean there is more room for a dual, or even triple-stage cage!
The Cam feels a lot more premium than the Stryfe, ignoring the camera. Maybe the Strike is worth paying extra for if the ergonomics are significantly better than the Amp? But considering how consistent Ultra's shell design has been so far, I doubt it.

I’m actually currently working on a cage and short dart adapters for this blaster using Kury’s amp stuff. Even making a talon mag adapter piece for the rear stock. Already rewired and eliminated all locks on it so no more Giant barrel

Nerf will never do short darts because they don't control that. Nerf wants to, at least temporarily, lock you into their ammunition ecosystem where you have to buy their overpriced darts. And on top of that, they can count on well-meaning parents and relatives buying things like Fortnite blasters for their child relatives while regardless of quality, brands like Dart Zone and XShot have a very hard time shaking a perception as "cheap knockoffs". If Nerf ever does a short dart format (a hypothetical Nerf Pro or somesuch), they're going to pick a proprietary length and/or diameter that will not be compatible with the blasters or magazines we have. I can say with pretty solid confidence that we will never ever see a 12.7x38mm official Nerf brand dart because then they'd have to compete in a space where Dart Zone already has a very solid grasp.

Maybe a change of terminology would help. In a lot of contexts, "accuracy" typically refers to getting close to the desired result, where "precision" refers to repeatability of the results.
@WalcomS7 There is a different Phoenix, the Phoenix C10! I found it at Sam's Club and it was $24 as it came with a ten round mag and the Echo's barrel and stock plus the scope the Phoenix always came with. I wanted to inform you about this since it threw me hecka off.
I have one, I'll post a video soon.
I actually really like the ultra line. I like how the non battery powered blasters kinda pop when you fire them
The ammo really does have a premium feel too, like your shots should count rather than just running out to spray and play. The Pharaoh is perfect in that regard, and I happen to really like the look.
I have an idea for an ultra blaster. Basically it is a bullpup electronic blaster with a drum magazine that is compatible with all nerf ultra magazine blasters (instead of the speed)
I love how real you are. Maybe you script some of your stuff but I can hardly tell. Just seem like a genuinely nice guy who has an interest in the hobby
The dream is for a dart company to one day come along that has a feature on their website called "suggestions." that they actually listen to for blaster ideas.
Just bought a nerf Ultra combo consisting of the Two, Three and Select for $10 CAD. My solution to this problem will to throw away the select but keep the two mags, tape them together jungle clip style and then get this bad boy!😂
it almost feels like they’re budget in ultra is running out.
Yeah, I wouldn’t say that it’s worth $50… but in near new condition with the original mag and a couple of accustrike darts, I’d say the Ultra Strike is worth the $6 I paid for it thrifting today, lol. It’s a decent blaster, and I love the feel of it. Plus I put a little blaster with an N-Strike rail clip on top on that rail Walcom hates to give myself a nice foregrip, lol.
When I got this, it was $20.
I really like the design, and I repainted it .
Great looking profile though. One to pick up on clearance for sure..
I love Ultra except the price, price of ammo, not being able to buy mags, did I mention the price ? I want to like ultra, I really do...... But they make it difficult
You can buy mags, which is something they never did for the Mega Motostryke. Sure, it can use the 6 round Centurion mags, but that's not the same thing.
@@tonyleccese2102 everywhere I try to buy the mag/ammo pack is sold out, for months now I've been looking because I bought an amp, there were a couple on eBay but people were asking like 20 bucks just for the mag and its only 10 rounds I think, if you have a link to but please provide because I've been looking, I can't even find 3d painted ones
the nerf community: "there no value"
Hasbro: "yea but you comfy uwu"
Yet again you upload right as im watching your video on the "oh snap"
Perfect timing..almost..too perfect.
Anywho great video love your work
Got my ultra stryke on sale for $10.
Lmao I got it for £19 and I’m pretty satisfied for the price
WS7
Very cool looking blaster. Thanks for always having a ton of facts and a ton of enthusiasm. Love your work : )
Looking forward to the Speed due out later this summer!
Bro your doing great stuff. Keep up the work and hopefully nerf will pull out of their asses
Hasbruh
Hasbruh hasfucked up
Well, ya got me dude, lol I'll give noom a try! Been wanting to be more healthy lately so lets goooooo
Nerf REALLY need to stop putting mag releases inside of the trigger guard. You can literally put it right below the trigger guard and make a way better blaster
I've only bought one Ultra blaster, and it's the Scream Machine. I was between that and the 2, because I love the rear load revolver setup. I went with the Scream Machine because I love the revolver carbine style too much. And even that may be my first ever blaster mod to get put in a new cylinder chambered in other ammo. This blaster seems....fine...But yeah, hard to justify $50 for it. Seems like it's just a larger Focus/Amp. Which is even nice, but it's not worth that.
nearly an 8" spread at that range, that's revolting.
Awesome shell, half length conversion
I mean it looks cool and would probably paint up nicely, but that's a lot of money for proprietary ammo and not a lot of customization or features. =/
December if 2022, just bought this blaster for $22 and change. Which is A better price tag for this blaster.
you don't needa diet man I genuinely hope no one puts you down. and tell me there name is if they do. keep giving the childhood alot of ain't have. I can't guarantee it but alot of us are from the hood so we got your back. we need our nerf vids. your perfect but if you want doom slayer bod we support you.
The Ultra AMP is like $15 on Amazon with Free Shipping, smh.. Only reason to get this is for the magazine. Hopefully Worker can start making Ultra magazines, or someone designs printable ones.
This blaster shoots pretty fast and accurate
It's way different and better than the amp ! ua-cam.com/video/kMnd2jlysgA/v-deo.html
How did you not do a video on your sick dart catcher?
Cause she ain't done yet :P
The strike is not bad in my opinion. It's nothing super impressive, no, but it's not awful. Good lookin' and it gets the job done. If you can get it at a significant discount it's a good no-nonsense blaster for those who want to fire ultra (for some reason)
Do you know if this Nerf ultra strike would be available at Target? I talked to Walmart yesterday and they told me they'll be on the shelves when they feel like it. I found the Fortnite compact SMG and the Minecraft wing bow on the shelves right now. The bow is $49 and the Fortnite SMG retails for $45
That's where I picked it up: target.
And I made the first talon converted strike today. Vid on my channel. Shots with the barrel on were just wonky
4:29 the slow guitar here is just comical, nails Walcom's disappointment
Hopefully there's a Kuryaka kit for this too.
And the Speed.
lol I just got one for 16 usd new in box at target
Wait...the full auto double mag blaster is 40$ and this semi auto single mag blaster is 50$?
Peak Hasbruh moment
Thank god hasbruh saves us so much money by only painting 1 side.
$50 for Amp internals in a Select shell without the Select's killer gimmick, what a deal!
