Come on Zander. When you type BIG PROBLEM in caps. I was thinking Big Problems like your previous Red GT. Those were really big problems and not hood adjustment issues. You get and keep viewers and subs with your beautiful Mach 1, strong content and sharing your knowledge. From the comments. I don't think I'm the only one feeling this way. Otherwise, your hands on video and Stang pulls were excellent. It's your time to shine.
Lol it was just a little clickbait 🤣 ppl keep saying they love the content and the car but last few videos and been very slow and ppl only watch for half the video. But then claim they are big fans. Makes no sense if they are just skipping about. So a I got to grab some attention every once in a while. 100% of UA-camrs do it. But there is a big big difference between clickbait and lying. I never lie to get ppl to watch. There are lots of other channels that do that.
Just love the hood struts, don't know why Ford is in love love with the prop rod. This is such a needed mod, and one of things they got right on the GT500. The Mach 1 is sounding so sweet, that ESS supercharger has made a world of difference.
As I was watching the video and you went and bought a siphon pump I was wondering to myself if you didn't get the one that came in the kit. It works perfect for adding and removing oil from the head unit. I still need to do mine, I haven't quite hit 2000 miles yet. According to the installation manual the first break in change is 2000 miles.
Thumbs up, as usual. You're starting to win me over to this style of supercharger. Originally I liked the whipple style, because of the down low torque. Initially the ability to fry the tires off the line would be amusing, but power without traction is pointless.
I had to reroute the windshield washer hose, on the passenger side, to prevent it from being pinched by the strut. Also that mounting point on the fender is fairly thin and flexable metal.
I got redline hood struts and they're great. Battle it looks like you are having way too much fun in Mach 1. Im still so happy you went with centifical force, before you got it I was telling you their so much fun to drive and you can daily drive it. Now time to put it on the track to see what type of numbers you get
I'm actually adding my hood struts later today. Just finished my g2 kit install on my 2020 5.0. Getting the tune dialed in by Lund today. I live in Metro Atlanta but I visit Tennessee pretty often. Have in-laws in Jackson, TN. Maybe one day we Combat Army Vets can line up Manual VS Manual and have some fun. Awesome content brother 💪💯
Water hose spigot seems a bit loose brother. You might want to get that fixed before it breaks at the wrong time and becomes your #1 problem. Surprised there isn't a drain plug at bottom of supercharger. Had that along with a long SS hose and plug with my Vortec and that help drain all the oil and any particles that might be present. The siphon pump not very good IMO. Nice struts, look top quality.
Loved the video. Can't wait until I've got the turbos on mine. Haven't had an issue with the hood shake yet but I am also about to put a shaker hood system on mine. just ordered the first round of the Steeda suspension parts today. The build is coming along nicely. Will send pics as it happens.
Never had any luck with hood struts. I’ve tried them on my 2019 I had and on the Mach. Both cars, once the struts were installed, had the hood pushed up on the passenger side rear corner causing a misalignment on the remainder of the hood. It’s as if you need to loosen and lower the right hinge. Tried The ford Motorsport and the MRT hood strut kit. Neither worked. Blower does sound good on yours though…
Guess my first comment didn’t take. I emailed brevin like you said in your video and he said he would give the black supercharger upgrade at no cost. Thanks Zander
So are you going to mod the suspension any time soon? Been watching your channel since the blue gt, and you sold me on BMR (I now prefer Steeda), but just wondering if the MACH1 needs it?
Dude your making it really difficult to leave my mach1 n/a 😆 I've got 7,500 miles on mine and I'm wondering how many miles I need before it's safe to void my warranty any advice would be appreciated
@@dannycaldwell7051 not necessarily. If you have an issue with the car, take it to Ford and they can prove that your mods caused the problem, then it voids the warranty. Also make sure there are no ECU updates for the car before taking it in. If there is, either request them not update it or return the vehicle to stock before taking it in.
@@motiv8d111 I wouldn't want the 10 speed for road course or canyon driving because of it's shift schedule on downshifting. Although if your just a straight line non driving drag racer type yes I agree the 10 speed works very well in the 1320 especially when fitted with a 9.5" torque converter to actually get some decent 60'ft times out of it.
@@TheLoneWolf_andCoyote so when I toggle to track mode...the car does a good job staying out of the higher gears - and it down shifts like a boss during deceleration + rev match. I am a fan of either for sure.
@@motiv8d111 yeah the 10R80 is really impressive when it's shift schedule is modded. I'm a manual guy mainly because i'm always in winding canyon or mountainous terrain. How reliable has the ESS Supercharger been? Thinking about it for my 2021 Mach 1 (handling package)... Just debating if I wanna pull the trigger on it soon or wait a few years til it's out of warranty, lol. I feel like it's not as if I've pushed the car to what it's capable of already, but it's also hard to not want more power too.
