Where is Jennifer Lopez song In The Floor ft Pitbull or Dr Dre Still Dre
I like your picks....but you totally ignored country music. There are some wonderful dance tunes in that genre.
@@dollyperry3020 yes we did no one cares about country
Technotronic - Pump Up the Jam
Too Bad no Will Smith, Nsync or The Back Street Boys
I Wanna Dance With Somebody just does not age. If it was released today, it would be hailed as an amazing dance track with an 80s feel to it. Absolute classic!
Jeff Skinner of the Buffalo Sabres has that as his goal song in the NHL. It's awesome.
It's crazy to think that "Just Dance" was Lady Gaga's first song. Even to this day, it sounds so modern and fresh! They even named a game after that masterpiece of a song.
That would make a good trivia question. Amen.
And I love the “Just Dance” video game and the song. Both are awesome. Amen.
And Bad Romance too
Still my favorite Gaga song! ❤️⚡
It sounds reductive
"Hips Don't Lie", "Let's Get It Started", "Foot Loose", "Uptown Funk", and "Stayin' Alive" are some of my personal favorite feel good songs and get me moving everytime.
One of my friends played Footloose at her graduation party.
Excellent list! As a former DJ, I'd like to add one more song. "Groove Is In The Heart" by Deee-Lite was always a guaranteed dance floor filler.
I'd replace "I wanna dance with somebody" with that one. "Groove" is killer good.
I may not be an 80s kid but Footloose song still makes me want to dance.
(Usher - Yeah) is a dance classic.....
“I Wanna Dance Somebody (Who Loves Me)” is still one of my top 3 favorite Whitney Houston songs. 😊
Staying alive is incredibly wow
Beat it is iconic
The guitar solo in beat it is the best part of the song. It's such a fast part.
EAT IIIIIT!
@@vgbcp3rs0na41 Funny enough, I actually knew the parody before I knew the original.
@@vgbcp3rs0na41😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Dancing Queen, Just Dance such a Legendary songs
I'm surprised that "Believe" by Cher wasn't on this list.
I’m so glad “Footloose” was included in this; a pleasant surprise! The ENTIRE Footloose soundtrack is fantastic (original 80s version). I never tire of hearing Footloose, I’m Free, and Danger Zone (Top Gun). It’s nice to see oldies classics from 70s and 80s included in this list. They are classics for a reason. Every decade has its hits. Well done, Ms. Mojo.
Can’t believe Uptown Funk is almost 10 years old. It’s always appropriate for for every party!
There's one song that this video forgot about Jennifer Lopez On The Floor feat. Pitbull, it is a literal banger that always gets me on the Dancefloor.
I’m so glad that the disco era songs were on the list! I grew up on that music.
I grew up with 60s music, which can't be beat!
me too
Party Rock Anthem, Uptown Funk and Shake It Off are the songs that get me on the dance floor.
I think them putting Party Rock as an Honorable Mention is a shame. That one had me SPRINTING to the dance floor. Every. Single. Time. It was playing.
“U Can’t Touch This” is still one of my most favorite hip hop songs of all time.
😊
Uptown Funk always cheers me up!
“In Da Club” is still one of my 5 favorite 50 Cent songs.
Michael Jackson as Number 1! 100% he is the KING OF POP!😍❤❤🔥
“Beat It”, one of my most favorite Michael Jackson songs of all time! 😮
Thank you, MsMojo! 😊
"Beat It" is one of the reasons I was scared Michael Jackson.
The songs reminds me of the AP(audience participation) in RHPS (Where do you keep your Michael Jackson records?) " ...burning in the fireplace.." (RHPS - There's A Light)
IMO, the Beatles "Twist and Shout" still gets people on the dance floor.
I agree with about 50% of this list. How is there no Earth, Wind, & Fire on here?
"Uptown Funk" is my favorite dance floor song on here. And "Crazy In Love" will definitely get me to the dance floor!
This song gets me on The Dance Floor 🙌🏻
My Firends comes to dance with Us
Donna Summer’s “Last Dance” and Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive” are equally decent songs back in 1978.
I would say they were much more than decent.
I still cant get over how ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS Taboo is from black eyed peas ❤❤❤
Love #10...Prince. I worked for 9 years at a church with little kids. the last Sunday of each month was party Sunday to celebrate the scripture we learned and 1999 was our theme song. cause we partied like it was 1999.
Crazy In Love brought us the powerhouse couple before they became a powerhouse couple. Absolutely love Crazy in Love. The perfect blend of R&B and rap.
19:45 MJ has a style and _Beat it_ truly number one.
When Pink's "Get the party started" and H C Hammer's "U Can't Touch This" came up in the honourable mentions, i wasn't happy as they should have been number 1. But it was forgiveable when Michael Jackson's "Beat It" was the number 1. Quite a few songs missing, but what about Billie Piper she was a singer from 1998-2003. How come we never see her songs mentioned on here
Uptown Funk is a classic for parties ✨️ 🎉
I sang Whitney Houston's "I wanna dance with somebody " at my school talent show this year! Everyone started dancing and sang with me ❤
😁😁😁❤❤❤❤🎶🎶🎶👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
THATS SO FREAKING AMAZING!!!!!!
One huge song that gets everyone on the dance floor is Electric Boogie better known as the electric slide by Marcia Griffiths
YEAH MJ songs bring moves to my body even though I dance like a robot.
“Hey Ya!”, my most favorite Outkast song!
Is Seems like yesterday thath I heard "Just Dance" For the first time and feel i love❤
Excellent List. Donna Summer songs ,Prince Songs, and I Will Survive were songs loved by us Rock-n-Roll people back then. Hey Ya is one of my favorite songs of this century,-it’s infectious and I’m old enough to have shaken a Polaroid picture. I used to live down the block where SNF opening Staying Alive was filmed. Same Train line as the infamous car/Train chase in the movie ‘The French Connection’.😎
September is missing! That is a complete bop
Long live music.🙏🎶
I still can't believe Mark Ronson took top billing for "Uptown Funk"! It's Bruno!
Even though I was only 5 when “Wanna dance with somebody” was released, Whitney will always be able to get me on the dance floor - no one has a voice like hers - lost her to soon
How about adding "Shut Up and Dance" the next time Mojo does the top 20 dance songs.

Great List!!!
You list two that I couldn't believe weren't even honorable mentions: Poison & Gonna Make You Sweat. Both 90's monster dance hits!
So many great songs ❤ thank you!!!!!
I was born in the mid-90s, and "I wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me)" is my hype song when I'm getting ready to go out, has been for the last 6 years. Theme song for my 20s, I guess 😂
Every single stinkin' one of these songs were in at least one of the many dances I have attended over the years, and each one of them have been INFECTIOUSLY fun to dance to! I have taken home awards for dance-offs against my classmates and colleagues for dancing with many of these songs. I love dancing, and if i lived in a city with a different club scene, I'd be dancing a whole lot more
Solid list. Well done, MsMojo!
Can't give this list any legitimacy without The Time Warp being up at the top and it didn't even get a mention.
#14 I remember the summer I graduated high school; I was in Concan during 4th of July weekend. On July 4th, they had this firework show, concert, and these guys singing a cover of this song. Guess you could say it got me dancing.
ABBA IS THE BEST BAND EVER EXISTED 😭😭😭 I JUST LOVE THEM SOOO MUUUCH 😭 I am absolutely obsessed about them and all of their songs 😍🤩
This is my favorite video of Ms Mojo so far. Amen.
It's Raining Men, by The Weather Girls always got me on the dance floor
Whitney’s I Wanna Dance With Somebody works all the time!
Songs by Madonna, Jody Watley, Paula Abdul, Taylor Dayne and a lot more should be included.
Got to put It Takes 2 by Rob Base And DJ Easy Rock on that list you can play that song at a funeral and people will dance lol
Where is Christina Aguilera's "Not Myself Tonight "?
This is why I love musics!❤🎶
Here here!!!❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉

Michael Jackson The Way You Make Me Feel
Back Dat Azz Up... the song that gets everyone on the floor. It's the jam. Guess this isn't a playlist for those types of songs 😕
You should be dancing by the Bee Gees really gets me going.
Yes!!! Beat it by Michael Jackson is #1!! I was hoping it would be!! Every time I hear beat it, I want to get up and dance!!!
I had to go watch Whitney Houston's video / Dance With Somebody. It's such an uplifting song and amazing video. It's so sad that Whitney passed away; she was such an aspiring, talented singer. I hope she and Bobbi are at peace together. ❤💚🧡💙💛💜
I can't believe you left out "The Hustle" from Van McCoy.
I need to listen to it right now.
Ok but there should be a list by decade cause there are too many good choices… 🤯
Only from the 2000-2010s: She Wolf, Timber, Bad Romance, I Gotta Feeling, Bootylicious, etc etc etc
Bad romance sounds so dated and reductive
Fun fact: Ms. Gaynor sang "I Will Survive" on an episode of That 70s Show which featured a very rare liva action appearance by voice acting legend Grey DeLisle/Griffin.
Take on me always gets me on my feet to dance too..❤
I haven't read all the comments so maybe this one was mentioned but "Old Time Rock and Roll" by Bob Seger.
If you have the energy to get people going, "Shout" by The Isley Brothers is a surprisingly great song to get people dancing.
Love Shack!!
Old time rock and roll, little Willie, I knew the bride when she used to party Push it, Miami Sound Machine Conga
What about the oldie "The Twist" by Chubby Checkers? Ya can't sit down for that one.
Anyone else here that wicked DJ scratch edit right around the 12:15 mark? Fresh!
I don't criticize you after all it's your opinion but a I am really surprised about a list without the "yeah" from usher and "hot in here" from Nelly and they are even in the honorable mentions, I can't really dance but these two songs still make me do it.
I would like to hear if anyone else have some crazy dance songs they love but missed in this list and what they think about what I think about the two mentioned songs
Great list - I didn't know the first one but the rest I agree on. In da club is awesome. I'd want to put Jessie J, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj - Bang Bang on there too.
Madonna (Holiday, Into the Groove, Vogue, Hung Up, Music, Sorry...) and Jennifer Lopez (Let's Get Loud, On the Floor, Ain't It Funny, Get Right, Waiting For Tonight...) have so many brilliant dance songs and you didn't even mention any. What a shame!
Such a villainous crime!!!!!!
I'm suprised you didn't have the time warp from RHPS.
and every. time. there's a couple on the floor playing charades to "Paradise by the Dashboard Light"!
great video
Every time we touch by Cascada
I love the list but Flo Rida's Low is a huge dance hit too!
i remember every song
number 1 spot: Right Artist, Wrong Song!
Don't Stop Til You Get Enough... Nuff said.
I always wanted to be in this video. I love carnival rides. One of my favorite things to do for a date was to go to a carnival. My favorite rides are Tilt A Whirl, Gravitron, The Swings and The Bobsled (that played music and went forward and backwards)
DJs are thankful to Dancing Queen
I thought that would have been #1
"Love Shack", B 52s.
I like “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” but that song would never inspire me to get up and dance. 😂
Showing my age, but one song in 🇦🇺 that got everyone on the dance floor especially singles, because you can just join a line, is Tina Turner’s
Nut Bush City Limit, you hear the first couple of bars of that, and seats are empty.
I'd like to add a few that I think are pretty great dance songs:
Motownphilly - Boys II Men
Celebrate - Kool & The Gang

#8 That song always got me on the dance floor in high school.
What about Electric Slide, the Cha-Cha Slide, Cotton Eye Joe, Fancy Like and, most recently, Giddy Up.
Definitely# 1 Bruno Mars ! KC & the sunshine band , Michael Jackson In a whole different mood Abbas Dancing Queen . But if I had to pick one its Bruno Mars for this lady' Gotta dance or play drums or something , love it , he's great

Only thing missing is Modern English I’ll stop the world and melt with you.
I use "shake it off" when my granddaughter falls down lol. It works
