Bro is so humble. He won treble, back to back premier leagues. And bro said this team is the best in the world. In objective ways. 👍👍👍
They’re the best at building up from the back
He won the trelble just becuase they spend a billion on players alone
@@hackersaregae6561rubbish.....am cfc fan we spent millions are we still play rubbish😡😡😡..pep is a gunieus
@@hackersaregae6561fun fact. United is the first in player spending. City is the third...
@@hackersaregae6561yeah yeah, all the teams have money not all teams can win a trebble!
That phrase “it depends who jumps” is so spot on. They are so fluid on the ball, even the keeper, that they can bait a press and get out of it.
I’ve heard this is what Ten Hag is trying to get us to do and I saw shades of it against Arsenal but I think the technical ceiling of our time needs to be raised before we can do it more accurately.
@@iwantgoals1566which team spend cake. All top clubs spend . Man utd , chelsea real madrid and barcelona . So be wise not s kid even bayern bought all the good players from their legue
And that's why Pep is the best coach and could literally beat any coach in world football right now. If you can understand someone's else tactics this much then you'd definitely know what to do to counter it. Pep is a genius. Roberto De zerbi I love that man. I see him coaching a bigger team soon. Maybe Man City
I think Guardiola will speak to The owners to consider Roberto when Guardiola retires one day
There’s been a lot of great coaches, but in the past 20 years no one is more influential than Pep. Virtually every team in modern football plays with principles pioneered by Pep’s teams
I'd love to see him at barcelona.
@@lewhitebeard?
there’s definitely an argument to be made for Klopp being better, only because he’s been competing with city with far less financial backing
These managers understanding of the game is remarkable
false brighton shipped 62 goals in 38 league games, there is nothing incredible about that. if de zerbi goes to a big team, he'll fail... bayern, barcelona and liverpool under performed this year because they simply cant defend, only keep possession, attacking scores goals but defending wins titles.

De Zerbi is indeed light-years ahead of the average Italian coach.
Pep said graham potter
Absolutely spot on alaysis
Love that de zebri & guardiola both show there respect for what potter started
Pep is always humble and generous (and his analysis is so precious, of course). A little typo: it's De Zerbi, with the letter "i".
I hope u upload more and more videos like this
Most important point was about what Graham Potter installed. Special.
Graham Potter made the team stable and safe. It was good eyepleasing passing secure in the back but we lacked a clinical finish which resulted in lots of 1-1,1-0 results. Now its banging in lots of goals but occasional defensive slipup we get 4-1, 3-2, 1-6, 3-1 and 6-0.
That something lower team has is the passion and hunger to be successful. They may not have the magical players to change the game but they work well as a team. Imagine throwing some few world class players who listen to the instructions. 🤩 That the reason team like Porta Benfica and Ajax perform better at UCL than Psg.
When you know you know, he is the best student in the class. And even when he knows, this guy find a solution. At this moment the best field trainer!
Team is the keyword
But Pep has it all, especially brilliant players who are world class
If I were advising De Zerbi, I would advice him to sit tight for another year or so, build his rep (make a deep cup run and qualify for CL,potentially) and then make a move to either Man City or Liverpool (once Klopp/ Pep leave)...instead of taking the Man United job in the near future.
That was remarkable
They were incredible yesterday
In the same way, if a team masters team-press they can counter that, also if you play a defensive game with no press you can counter that

He is a master of SWEET CURSE . Whichever team he applauds soon goes out of fashion and start struggling to regain their identity . Examples are Sarri and Spaletti's Napoli , Conte and Tuchel's Chelsea , Klopp's Dortmund and De zerbi's Brighton . Even the coach doesn't last longer at the club after getting his applause .
Potter is a great coach.. what also matter in succes of a team is the ability of your players wanting to improve and have the understanding how your coach want you to play, chelsea players where not there.
Chelsea can be like this but the top brass is too impatient
Being this dude to Barcelona I lover his football more then Xavi ball atm and that’s coming from a Barca fan

as much as everyone and myself is keen to have Alonso managing liverpool but i would think Zerbi is the better manager to inherit the Klopp squad. Another thing is Zerbi is great at scouting the best players that best suited EPL at very decent transfer price. I would also see Zerbi staying at Liverpool for longevity reasons one who stays a good 10 years. If Alonso does win us titles.. big club comes knocking for him.

Brighton were in the 4th tier, going nowhere, playing to 2,000 fans in a 6,000 capacity converted athletics stadium with no roof that most clubs in Eastern Europe wouldn't go near, looking like they might even go bankrupt when Guardiola's playing career was winding down.
No one has come further in the last 25 years than Brighton have. If my own team could emulate them even half as well, they'd be a Premier League regular too, it's annoying haha.
De Zerbi is city's next coach when he leaves.

Pep want all the team play llike that so it will be easy job for him to dominate EPL 😂😂 He will sell his philosophy but he so smart because he will only chose club that provides him unlimited budget!! The BEST philosophy is to find a strategy to WIN based on your team and the opponent team strengths and weaknesses. Jose Mourinho is the master. Pep many times destroyed by Jose. Prime Barcelona lost to Inter Milan..lost to RM after Jose build the team..Prime Man City lost to worst Man United and then lost to worst Tottenham team. Let say we change side.. Jose with Prime Barca and Man City team VS Pep with his philosophy with Inter and worst Man United and Tottenham.. Believe me it will be worst than Brighton side that easily lost more than 3 goals every game 😂😂😂
That why he can win UCL with City after 6 years & with huge spending & only 2x finalist in 8 years compare to Klopp taking weaker Liverpool team but able to win in 4 years & 3x finalist in 9 years !! Madrid 4x UCL champions with Ancelotti WINNING philosophy 😂😂😂. If any EPL teams having budget and having WINNING Tropy philosophy then bring Jose, Conte , Klopp then Pep will retired sooner than later 😂😂😂
People like you who don't actually play football have the loudest opinions when it comes to football. Anybody who actually plays football and not just watches it knows that Pep's style of play, inspired by Cruyff is one of the hardest yet most beautiful mode of play on the pitch. Any team that can play like that is a marvel to watch, irregardless of the individual makeup of players. Prime Barca is a perfect example. Pep ball is legendary and if Morinho was half as good then he wouldn't have gotten sacked from almost every single team he has ever coached.
@@markmithi2628 Whether you do not understand or do not want to understand my point about the best philosophy in football not only style of play but most important is the strategy to win depending on the ability of your team and the opposing team. Brighton play a style of football praised by Pep but always lose by a huge goal margin not only in EPL but also in the Europa Cup and Roma also praise Brighton's style of play then after that they were beaten by Roma 4-0 😂. How Atlanta beat Leverkusen in the final proved that the best philosophy to be Champions is not about possession or attacking beautifully but about winning if your team dont have messi , xavi , iniesta to play beautiful attacking football and your opponent is Bundesliga Champion Unbeaten 51 games with ball possesion style of play but got beaten 3-0. This is my view about the best philoshopy of football unless you are having loser mentality
Klopp didn't spend on players?
@@blixonlinetv3923 if you are still not clear about the best football philosophy I mean, please watch the Europa Cup final if you haven't and check the information for both clubs if you don’t know i.e. ranking and statistics, player profile, playing style etc. . Atlanta won 3-0 not only the scoreline but the way Atlanta prevented Leverkusen from creating any dangerous attacks in the box which is Leverkusen’s trademark attack but failed to do so against the 5th ranked Serie A. Leverkusen 51 games unbeaten Bundesliga Champions and they destroyed Bayern Munich it clear favorite to win this trophy but easily defeated by 3 goals. It was not a lucky victory but a tactically justified one.
@@muhammadrayyandanish3216 that is Gasperini's masterclass. Xabi clearly made huge blunder for not doing homework. Not only that, Gasperini actually don't have fixed pressing shape, he study how opponents play when they on the ball and figure out which pressing structure from there. And I've been said this so many times since 19/20 that do not underestimate Gasperini's Atalanta
Roberto de zerbi come to Liverpool
Mainoo is still young he should study Kroos or Alonso... honestly speed is overrated compared to football IQ... these players when they play their game is when they are able to whip all the right passes Bruno for one is not effecient and won't play deep so you might as well use the young players who can learn a well rounded game... In this way it's easier to phase out Casemiro or rather releave him... getting a CDM that can give you 120 minutes...PSG👀...
Next Rashford has hit a wall... a few players gotta be substitutes instead of starters and Brighton is a great team because they really expose teams that are not connected so next game fight for a win because of this... if you get to play next game it's not because you played well last game but it's a chance for them to redeem themselves because this looked bad...we are man united they could of played their best game we still could've won.... i dont care about 'beautiful football' i just want wins more... that way we can develop the killer instinct in the team and bring it back...make great teams fear our match up and some players gotta step up or bench up period....

Van gaal did that and got accused of being boring overpassing for the sake of it. Boring
I saw some Van Gaal ones, most of the time like no-purpose at all. The problem is that u can't make pass when there are no options afterwards. Let's say u and ur friend overload a fullback and ur friend make a run into the space who will I pass to?
Baiting is whats made football boring, we over analyse, when often a goal comes from nothing. It works, if you have the players, but its god damn boring.

Pep exaggerates things & u all buy into it. What he saying not a lie but he ain’t the best. Only few managers very similar in tactics & when pep sees your similar to him he will exaggerate he’s words because that’s what he dose. Pep, Roberto D & Arteta similar. Only difference is Brighton don’t have the players to do it consistent like city & arsenal.

But people said tiki taka is dead and cant work? Lol
Football tactics evolve, any tactics has its kryptonite
@@charlessnachez4248 that doesnt really negate what I said.
This isn’t tiki taka. Every pass brighton play is with purpose. Tiki taka was trying to confuse opponents structure to then exploit them during the game by passing as quickly as possible(yes Barca was that good that they could essentially pass the ball around a couple of times and figure out on the spot what their weakness was and exploit it; their improv was that good). Man city and Brighton play specific passes and routines to get a team to be in a specific position to exploit the already planned weakness. Tactically much different. Obviously this is very broad and I have mentioned none of the details. Playing tiki taka effectively is the hardest thing to do in football imo
@@emilevangheem6165# 1 you are wrong. This is tiki taka. Tiki taka is not just one version of it like 09 barcelona.
#2 u basically said barcelona had no purpose of our passing, and basically disrespecting barcelona by trying to say we got away with doing passes with no meaning because we were lucky to have good players lol and then u literally describe the meaning of the passes after calling it meaningless, wich is passing the ball around to confuse opponents. So there is a purpose? Wich one is it?
#3 you are wrong in that city does specific passes for specific routines for specific teams. U can know what formation or players will play, but you dont know how the players will move or rotate on the pitch. If that was the case pep would never have a bad game. Theres a reason he changes gameplans at half time after seeing how they move and mark. Stop disrespecting barcelona bro. Pep plays tiki taka with city, this is tiki taka, and tiki taka has plenty of version of it. Some can be heavily possessive, others tiki takas can have counters, very offensive, defensive, holding, attacking. It's not just one definition of it. The fact that u think tiki taka is only 09 Barcelona says it all.
#4 tiki taka in barcelona is not passing the ball around to confuse and then figure things out on the fly. Tiki taka is about having more possession for yourself, less possession for the other team, so now u have more chances to score, and to be able to move the opponents by your passing and opening gaps to attack. There nothing random or on the spot about it. And citys gameplan is not that specific. But things like trying to play the ball starting from your gk on the ground and pass the ball onto their half is tiki taka football. Unlike booting it up the pitch.
@@rafaelguasp1141 Man city and Brighton aren’t tiki taka Barca from this year isn’t tiki taka. Just because their base is positional play doesn’t mean it’s tiki taka. I consider tiki taka constant fast bal movement and I am sorry to say but as nice as it was to watch some of the passed weren’t necessary. I mean you do realise they watch the games form the other teams. They know how they will probably set-up and play. Doesn’t mean they always get it right but then Pep tries to tweak his system. Tiki taka was so effective with the players he had that he rarely tweaked a lot
But they prob can’t beat city’s press. They r fluent and they gon play long balls if they don’t have the numerical advantage when building up

You don’t get it, do you? They’re the best at building up from the back. Better than city, yeah. So you have to understand that he’s not talking about the team as a whole but the team when building possession from The back.
