Some lore on the Klabautermann (Not sure if Jack will actually see this comment since he's way past this arc by now, but oh well). So Jack asked if the Sunny has one, and the answer is kind of a vague yes/probably. According to the real life myths and legends that the Klabautermann is based on, most ships that are well loved have one and it protects the crew, fixes the ship, and save crewmembers that fall overboard. However the spirit itself will only ever be visible to the crew of a doomed ship, otherwise it remains invisible. That's why Usopp saw the Merry's Klabautermann, because Merry already knew that she was doomed. However, the anime realsed some special episodes, one of which was the Episode of Merry, which pretty much recounts some of Merry's adventures in HD and adds a bit more of crew interactions, including the image of a Klabautermann on the Thousand Sunny's sails watching over the crew. It is slightly unknown if it was sort of the last ghost of Merry, or if it hints that Sunny has her own as well, however it is considered Non-Canon. If the Sunny does have one, and if Oda follows the original legend, then the crew will hopefully never meet her.
I don't think Shanks does know just how strong BB is. He was warning WB, saying that Ace couldn't win and pointing to the scar that BB gave him, so he knows he's strong, but he got that scar before BB ever had a devil fruit. Shanks thought that Ace would lose when he thought BB didn't have a devil fruit so BB right now is actually a lot stronger than he was when he injured Shanks.

To answer your question about CP9. Lucci was saved by Blueno and landed in ICU. He needed 4 emergency operations in order to survive. Then came 6 months of intensive physical therapy. As you can imagine, he became very sour at very mention of the word “Luffy”
The real life Blackbeard/Edward Teach use to ignite smoke on the tips of his beard and hair to make himself more intimidating. The Dark-Dark fruit's darkness effect must of come from this fact.
Blackbeard literally had to lie on his stomach to choke out the flames coz Ace can control any and all flames around him so I believe he was keeping those fires on when they were fanning them out.

You asked about CP9's fate. It's shown in a cover page story in the manga, for the chapters from Sabaody to the start of Impel Down. (Oda puts little continuing side stories on the cover pages of chapters, that's what the "Koby and Helmeppo getting taken in by Garp" story was originally, as well as "Buggy teaming up with Alvida and getting his crew back". Most of them don't get adapted into the anime though, which is sad.) I've written a short summary below, if you're interested. Turns out that thanks to being knocked out so much earlier than everybody else, Blueno managed to get up I guess sometime around the time the Straw Hats fled. With his Door-Door power he was able to gather the other CP9 agents together, and they also fled Enies Lobby by walking on the sea train tracks - others were able to walk, Lucci and Kaku had to be carried due to injuries. They made it to one of the other connected islands, and used their various skills to raise money for medical treatment for Lucci, putting on street shows and cleaning roofs. Once he was better, they defended the island from some pirates, and then headed off to the island where they were raised to be assassins. Some marines came after them (government angry for failure, Spandam threw his subordinates under the bus), but they just sent them packing. They gave Spandam, who was in a full-body cast in a hospital after Robin broke his spine, a call, and basically told him "we'll be back" (menacing). And that's about it for what we hear in the cover story.
One of the sad things about the Anime, is they stopped doing the cover stories after the Coby one. But, a lot of the questions you are asking about what happens to the Villains after a arc, almost all happen in the cover stories. At this point in the story, you would have seen, the Baroque works people, Wapol, Hachi, one of Enels generals, the one that got beaten by Chopper. Enel has one, and it's one of the most important ones in the series. He gets to the Moon, and finds that there was a lost civilization that use to live there. He finds little machine people, there are literally Space Pirates, and he sees hieroglyphics, of a winged race of people, looking like they migrated to the One Piece world. And there is eventually one about the CP9 people. A lot of them are pretty meaningless. But there a few like Enels that are important. Like Wapol, his ends up with him becoming super famous because of the spiecal metal he produces after he chews up stuff, and he becomes the King of another country and gets a wife. The Baroque Works one, you see Mr 2 escape, for a while, before he gets captured again.
Not important? Literally showing people traveling through space. And maybe showing the orgins of the first people going to the OP world? Not, important. There more things I could say, but that's heavy Spoilers.
Yeah its a shame toei doesnt use them and make episodes out of it. I mean not every little one need to be an full episode, but they could make an episode covering some Coverstories in 1 episode. This would even reduce the filler and the pacing a bit. Also its just mean, because these Coverstories are canon and have a inpact on later parts (some more then other but for an example the wapol one is the reason for frankies mech) so its just sad, that anime only people get left out :(
Why does this upload coincide in literal perfection with the current chapter as a parallel? This is even a contender for a plan of proof that there are no coincidences in life.
Blackbeard one of the greatest villains in the whole story. Him being on screen is always fun and intriguing. He plays it off like he's a lumbering buffoon, seeking simple desires but if you pay attention he states several times he has a "plan" on how to rise up in power (13:40) and all evidence points to his plan being made way before ever joining whitebeards crew AS A CHILD. My biggest question about Blackbeard is how far has he planned ahead and for what exactly that pertains to the one piece?
The issue of how Ace knew where to find Blackbeard is actually answered in the manga. Ace had a manga cover story that featured him infiltrating a marine base for info on Blackbeard's location. One thing I always found interesting here is that Blackbeard is the first time we've ever seen someone seek out a specific fruit.
Blackbeard saying "The sun or the darkness - there'll only be one winner" is surprisingly on the nose considering current events, Oda really was cooking. There's so much more shit that is dropped about Blackbeard in those early arcs that hasn't been explained yet, but damn is it some good theory fuel. Luffy calling him "them" in Jaya, Ace mentioning he lived twice as much as everyone or even BB himself mentioning that the Yami Yami no Mi chose him. Rewatching these old episodes makes me realize how many hints Oda drops just to pick them back up hundreds of chapters/episodes later lol (Dadan being namedropped this early for example). It's gonna be the same in Thriller Bark because A LOT of info is dropped that only becomes relevant in the distant future.
what Ace said about Blackbeard really like, all this time everyone on Whitebeard's crew knew about his weird condition but somehow was never important enough to them to pay attention to it.
You’re reading too much into luffy calling him “them” lol use your common sense, you really believe luffy knew anything about blackbeards nature and past? He means “they” as in, he is probably a pirate captain and his crew are here as well
The "sun-flower-lion-head" is foreshadowed in the Nami flashback where she gets a hand-down top from her older sister which Bellemere decorated with that head :)
CP9 survived the Bustercall thanks to Blueno's Door Door Fruit and leave left to another Island to get Lucci some treatment from his injuries and contact the World Government so they can be back in business
Manga chat: BB said "this power chose me" does this mean it could possible be a mythical zoan!? Ik he said "its even rare for logia" but u never know with oda.
The similarities between Luffy and Blackbeard seem to be deliberate and obvious. Both believe in dreams and both want to be the Pirate King. But, while Luffy is brave, fearless, principled and dumb, Blackbeard is cowardly and unethical and strategizes years/decades in advance. And, now due to their Fruits, Luffy takes less physical damage than normal, while Blackbeard takes more.
The Romance in Straw Hats wanted poster : 1. Luffy always have a big smile (enjoying his adventure) 2. Nami always smiling (Luffy's promise to Gen-san) 3. Ussop always hurts badly (Kaya's motivations to become a great doctor) 4. Sanji's mysteriousness (mystery) 5. Chopper's bounty price (SH's pet) 6. Robin's price (robin's actual worth for the world goverment) 7. Franky's face (Upgrade further)
Fun fact: this is the last episode available on Netflix. What a great and perfect stopping point they close that leaves the viewers satisfied and not wanting more at all 🙃
That's why Black Beard a.k.a Marshall D Teach is my favorite character in One Piece.. because he is really really "Pirate" and menacing with his 2 power and brain
"Furl the sails" means to roll and tie up the sails against the yard arm so they don't catch any wind. It would be an odd thing to do when being pursued. Normally you would do that in port or partially during a storm. There's a set of cover stories for CP9 that were never animated. They show what happens to CP9 and that they're now outlaws for having failed at Ennies Lobby.
5:55 And again, a cover story that didn't get adapted, "CP9 independent report". Blueno used his Door Door powers to snatch everyone (but Spandam) before they got buster-called into the Air Door pocket dimension. They left and to pay for Lucci's needed medical treatment, Kalifa cleaned the streets with her bubbles, Kaku used his giraffe body as a slide for kids, Kumadori (characterized as a Kabuki actor) became a kabuki actor, and Blueno mounted a circus act with Jabra in wolf form. After Lucci is recovered, some random pirates attack the city they were at, and kidnapped a woman and her daughter. They figuratively and literally destroyed the pirates, and as the citizens panicked they decided to leave. But before they did, the girl approached Kalifa and gave her a flower as a thank you. They ended up on the island they grew up at, where CP agents are trained (they are all usually orphans groomed to be the government's assassins, with the exception of Kalifa, who's the daughter of the long-haired CP9 agent who accompanied Spandine to Ohara). Vice Admiral Very Good (the one that turns into balls) arrived to capture them, but they beat the crap out of him. As they were leaving they called Spandam, who was in some ICU after Robin broke him in half, basically, and told him they would come back for him. In panic, him and his father Spandine start to plan the obliteration of the former CP9 agents. Before sailing away, Kalifa planted the flower in the island they were raised

But the counter for Logia & other fruit users had already been explained by Garp. U don't need dark-dark fruit if you have the fist of love. Sadly Blackbeard chose the dark path instead bcause nobody has the capacity to love him 😭😭
5:55 You get to know almost everyone's next steps/story if you read the manga in the form of cover stories - 1 per chapter They just don't adapt it to anime for some reason idk why
We haven't seen like 90% of the fight, but BB's crew said that Ace was fearsome figher even without his df? I really hope that in the future when it will come to Luffy vs BB we actually will have extended Ace vs Blackbeard fight.

Seeing reactions from all of their friends and past people is one of my favorite parts
He means “they” as in, he is probably a pirate captain and his crew are here as well
GOAT PIECE this is a little bit of what you can expect on Marineford but i dont spoiler anything and you by faar not there yet
21:59 love this frame❤️
When the narrator speaks, we all listen. That's when you know it's about to get really nasty.
Great reaction! So exciting!
The "sun-flower-lion-head" is foreshadowed in the Nami flashback where she gets a hand-down top from her older sister which Bellemere decorated with that head :)
And soo it begins
CP9 survived the Bustercall thanks to Blueno's Door Door Fruit and leave left to another Island to get Lucci some treatment from his injuries and contact the World Government so they can be back in business
Ace:"so then you killd Thatch & stole it?"
BB:"that's how the ball bounces, this ability chose me Ace"
best lines
My man, this is just the prelude to the peak, you ain’t seen nothing yet
21:38 in comparison to Whitebeard and Shanks is BB at this point still a small fly.
Ace strongest attack being flame emperor I didn’t even notice till now oda really is THE goat
Manga chat:
BB said "this power chose me" does this mean it could possible be a mythical zoan!?
Ik he said "its even rare for logia" but u never know with oda.
To know about cp9 and other defeated characters you can read cover story in manga ( it's just 1 page in each chapter )
And, now due to their Fruits, Luffy takes less physical damage than normal, while Blackbeard takes more.
o wait I’m going through your comment history and think you’re just trolling, my bad keep doing whatever your doin
The Romance in Straw Hats wanted poster :
1. Luffy always have a big smile (enjoying his adventure)
2. Nami always smiling (Luffy's promise to Gen-san)
3. Ussop always hurts badly (Kaya's motivations to become a great doctor)
4. Sanji's mysteriousness (mystery)
5. Chopper's bounty price (SH's pet)
6. Robin's price (robin's actual worth for the world goverment)
7. Franky's face (Upgrade further)
That was one hell of a way to end a arc lol
Fun fact: this is the last episode available on Netflix. What a great and perfect stopping point they close that leaves the viewers satisfied and not wanting more at all 🙃
Every arc since now is gonna have at the end few info dump episodes so be prepared . :D
Was w8umg for it❤❤
5:55 And again, a cover story that didn't get adapted, "CP9 independent report".
Ace is one of the few characters with fire powers that I really like the way he's using his abilities.. His moves are very creative.. 🔥🔥🔥
God I love watching your reactions I’ve been watching since you were on the pain arc in Naruto Shippuden I always take time out to my day to watch your videos. No matter how many other reaction people I watch I like watching yours the most.😁😁
Robin: Just like the Sun........ what a Foreshadowing
Jack doesn’t even know hype yet. Not until he sees the next couple of arcs. That’s where you find levels of emotions you didn’t even know you had.
It’s so long between one piece uploads that I’m rewatching these
We are rapidly approaching one of the best arcs in one piece. Wish I could experience it for the first time again.
But the counter for Logia & other fruit users had already been explained by Garp. U don't need dark-dark fruit if you have the fist of love.
Sadly Blackbeard chose the dark path instead bcause nobody has the capacity to love him 😭😭
JAck! you definitively want to put the Thousand Sunny name on your wall
Finally, a new episode is here and a new arc! awesome
There's a cover story about CP9 after Ennies lobby, Blueno rescued all of CP9, with his door door ability.
8:55
This was still in an age of actual photos. Where you couldn't just increase it in size, you had to make a new bigger version.
And thus, this rollercoaster of a story arc begins.
5:55
You get to know almost everyone's next steps/story if you read the manga in the form of cover stories - 1 per chapter
They just don't adapt it to anime for some reason idk why
I wish they would, those stories are great. They would make for actually enjoyable filler.
Now the world is slowly picking up speed.
Not just Luffy and his friends playing pirates.
Black Beard: My Dark Dark Fruit Vortex power swallows all light!
Ace: Your darkness can swallow my flames? WHO DECIDED THAT!?
This is the start of the end for our mental health 😢
And so begins a domino effect that’ll effect the power balance of the world of one piece.
I still believe that it was a draw. Both of them passed out and Blackbeard's crew caught Ace.
not a bad theory
We haven't seen like 90% of the fight, but BB's crew said that Ace was fearsome figher even without his df? I really hope that in the future when it will come to Luffy vs BB we actually will have extended Ace vs Blackbeard fight.
"I'll make Whitebeard the King"
Absolutely chilling
100 episodes later 🍩🍩
@@TheyCallMeTheDrinkkk Exactly why he went back to fight Akainu.
That fight was when oda said “dawm i made those logia users too op i need to nerf then” and then ____ was born.
Btw love your reactions and keep up the good work.
was waiting on this set of episodes 🔥🔥🔥
4:39 The warp drive of pirate ships.
"the devil fruit has chosen me" " i became a man of darkness" ... soo... devilfruits has a own WILL and reborn in another human you say.....
Love your vids ishinobi 😂
The disadvantage of the Dark-Dark Fruit is that there is no use in dodging. Everything hits anyway.
My conclusion for the giant iron ball Garp throws, is that it is the ships anchor. @4:12
