Marvel 1970s b/w magazines, a very neglected branch of comics collecting. But not by me, I've been after some issues missing from my PC for decades. Particular issues of Deadly Hands Of Kung Fu feature significant first appearances and they all have great stories and art; even the articles, although dated, are still interesting reading. I hadn't seen the Spider-Man and Venom shoes covers before, they make an eye-catching pair. I also didn't know about the Pizzazz insert. You learn something new in every Comics Den video!
I Love your videos you both rock!! Always keep it super clean fun and enjoyable!! I'm a huge Superman Dan Jurgens fan collector especially Death Of Superman have all 4 prints direct edition CGC 9.6. Keep up the great videos and collecting!!
Man that Batman 613 cover I want that😍! Also that Star Wars variant cover awesome, and that Wizard mail in was great to see. I remember sending in for a couple of comics. Those Star Wars Sith vs Jedi comics FaNtAsTiC, the Sith RULE!! That Vader cover and Black Cat cover😍 Great covers! Enjoyed the video guys keep'em coming.
Can't wait for the upcoming SW Acolytes series on Disney+. Hopefully it's full with the use of darkside Force, a little bit of gore is more than welcome and will fit easily in the teachings and stories of the Sith. It should have at least a 16+ rating. Mandolorian, Book of Boba Fett and Obi-Wan are fun to watch but the battlles are childish imo. So far only droids are used in the series for realistic impact from a lightsaber......
They are low print and were sold at US GI-bases around the globe only. If i remember correct Mark Jeweller is or were a juweller on or near the US-bases where GI's and in Europe also NATO soldiers with an exclusive pass could shop tax free.
great to see Sarah again :). you should have bought the ASM 122 though...that is art and history. Avoid 1 and 2 dollar modern books though, like yesterdays newspaper, worth nothing, better have a nice dinner the 2 of you for that money
Don't forget HERO... Wizard was the first monthly price guide for comics, cards and toys. The prices were not specified in grades just like in the Overstreet guides. The Wizard promo cards or ashcans which were included are fun too....
The best part of this video 📹 was the old guy 👴 Did you buy this online or collect them over the year's.. he replied I don't buy online.... silence 🔕 🤫 🔕 🤫 because the person shooting the video is selling online lol and half of the subscribers do as well lol 😆 😄 I thought that was funny 😁
Big fan just a question, i have seen a lot of videos of yous buying 1/2 dollar books and the bags and boards look amazing! With the recent price rise and the fact Mylar bags are very expensive I’m assuming these bags on the 1/2 dolla books aren’t Mylar so wondering if anyone know what bags and boards are being used ?
Most of the comics have BCW resealable Bags. You can find them for all kinds of different comics and magazines. They are a good cheap alternative if you dont want to spend the money on a mylar.
Are you guys in the Garbage Pail kids if ya I made the deal of the century on 55 of them 51 of them we're first and second series I got a glossy back double Heather and three blastsed Billy's for better sit down for this $30
What up House of the Comics Den!?! So, if yall are pay'n like two bucks each for those comics, alot are variants, alt covers rite, so wtf, -we got the cover price of comic book averaging at $4.50/comic while the price of variants are going from $20 average price to two dollars,... I mean, what yall are doing is the future then w/the tent sales and swap meets,... No way can a "comic shop" survive w/this fake country rigged against anyone that does not plan on moving everything online within the realm of augmented reality and being data-mine'd -by the time all that is in full swing Florida is supposed to be 30% under water,...such bs..
Always nice to see Tony again
Fun video. Looking forward to the next one.

The few times I've seen Lee in your videos, he is always smiling.
That Dr. Strange #5 was my favorite. $20 book in good shape all day long.
good show
I watched one of your previous post and a guy said to store the comics facing each other inside the white boxes, so glad I seen him do that.
I think I stopped in this place on a random whim when I was visiting last year, owner was real nice!
The Mark Jewelers insert story is another level of collecting. I recently checked my Amazing Spider-Man run and found half a dozen with the inserts.

Great video guys. Awesome pick ups. 👍

What Wolverine issue was that with the signatures in it?It is a sick cover and I have to get one.
Yeah, Wizard Magazine was fantastic.

I can’t laugh at the kid who thumbtack the comic onto a wall, I glued a bunch of 1969 and 1970 baseball cards on my notebooks and bedroom wall!! 😬😬😅
Just a question from the Netherlands: Does Lenny have a website or YT-channel from where i can reach him with a message?
Are you guys in the Garbage Pail kids if ya I made the deal of the century on 55 of them 51 of them we're first and second series I got a glossy back double Heather and three blastsed Billy's for better sit down for this $30
I meant Lenny
Why does that guy keep calling certain comics "null & void"? What does that mean to him? I've never heard anybody say that about a book.
