I just wanna tell you how much I enjoyed your wonderful content. You are a wonderful presenter with an OBVIOUS, APPARENT JOY in collecting comics (specifically ASM obviouslu) and your happiness- PLUS your knowledge- makes your show a great watch. Question (actually two if that's ok): if you don't mind asking, how old are you (for what it's worth, my guess is 27-- but no matter what you're definely sub-35) and next- do you have any buddies your age that also collect comics? I ask because I'm 57 (old to you but believe it or not everyone gets there quicker than they realize, but anyway...) and I'm FASCINATED with ANYONE under- Hell- FORTY that is into collecting and/or appreciates (and in your case reveres) old (Silver, Bronze and even sometimes GOLDEN, which blows me away but anyway...) books- so much so that I always like to find out a bit about what brought them into the hobby (I KNOW why a person stays lol; it's the arrival the piques my interest). Anyhoo- again- GREAT CHANNEL and I look forward to you next vid!
I’ve been collecting since high school and I’m 25 now! Most of my friends are into cards or other things! Silver age is the greatest age of books to collect and I will always collect that era! Thank you for the kind words and positivity! Really appreciate it!
I've been collecting ASM books for the past 30 years. I'm only missing AF 15, ASM 1, 2, 3, 4, and issue 14. I know issue 1000 is right around the corner, but if it takes me another 30 years to compete my collection I'll be happy. I'm in no hurry. Thanks for sharing your collection and your love for Amazing Spider-Man! Cheers!
Awesome beginning. I have been collecting all Spider-Man comics since the late 1980s. I have the entire ASM line and most of the other lines (around 3000 Spider-Man comics). I am also a content creator like you and wish the best of luck in collecting.
Awesome Spideys there bud... Enjoyable video and I love your passion for the hobby and the thrill of the hunt! You can't beat early Amazing Spider-Man books... They are like gold! My favourite Lizard cover is that issue 44.... And of course 50 is so iconic! I started my journey back into collecting in 2017.. And made a list of all the key books I wanted, including alot of Spider-Man keys. By early 2022, I managed to finally complete my goal of the Amazing Spider-Man issues 1-102 including all the big keys after. The only book I'm missing is the King of the Silver Age, AF 15.... Even in the dip, this book is still too expensive sadly. I wish you all the luck in your journey and look forward to future videos of all your treasures. Low grade is definitely better than no grade!
Thank you so much for the kind words! You are right in the dip of the market they are all still expensive! I’m in it for the long hall and will eventually complete this journey! Thank you for the support! Be on the lookout for more videos on Instagram and UA-cam!
62 years young here, collecting for 50 years. Although I'm mainly into EC horror , House of Mystery, etc. I admire your passion for collecting and preserving these gorgeous books. It's quite a rush hunting them down for sure. More power to you. Cheers!
This is a fun but tough challenge only because of price . At big shows like NYCC you can probably find any issue . I tried to do this once but it would be too costly. It's definitely a lot of fun to do though and i love the books you have ! Going to keep watching to see how well you do with this challenge!
It’s a buyers market right now so I’m trying to snag as many as I can before Spider-Man 4! The thrill of the hunt is fun for me at smaller cons but I know cons like NYCC will have them more than likely! The tough part with that is negotiating a deal!
Great video and books! I finished up Web, Spectacular, and Superior runs which are some of my favorites. Working on Marvel Team Up. I have a ton of ASM but I might focus on select runs/arcs because early ASM are outside of my budget. Good luck 👍🏼👍🏼🕸️🕸️
Love the content and I’m gonna follow a lot more. Just recently been getting into comic book collecting but have grown up with marvel my whole life. Still trying to decided what series I want to start piecing together! Any recommendations?
I had the same goal until someone still my af 15 from my apartment it bothers me so much I ended up selling the rest I had issue 14 -50 and regret it now but after losing out on the most expensive book i lost intrested but I’m going to start back up
That’s absolutely terrible you had your AF 15 stolen! I’m happy to hear you are wanting to start collecting again though! Let me know what issues you may need to help kick that going again!
I started collecting since 1977 at age 9 till 2004... My grandfather left me about 100 Marvel silver-age comics in great condition that I still own today including 3 copies of Amazing Fantasy 15... Today I own over 3500 multiple books mostly all Marvel Silver and Bronze age. When did you start collecting.
@ I started the journey back in 2017! Always been a huge fan of the Marvel movies and wanted to learn more about their origins so I picked comics back up after high school!
Hey! I've been a long time collector of the comics and memorabilia. I've got the complete run from 1-955. If you're interested in any comics or memorabilia, I'd be happy to work with you. It's time for me to start selling. My kids have no interest in them. I was hoping to make it to 1000 issues but health problems for both myself and my wife and the bills are making me start to look for ways to sell. If you're not interested, I wish you well on continuing your collection.
Awesome pieces

Issue 1k will be iconic! I’m pumped you are close to finishing your run! I’ll be making more videos with updating where my run is at!
Gotta say my favorite you showed off was issue #13. Possibly my fav Spidey villain in Mysterio and the cover is awesome! Great collection!
Mysterio is an underrated villain! I thought Far From Home was a great adaptation of him!
Great collection. Spidey is King and ASM is crème de la crème..
Congrats!
Thank you! Spidey is the best!

EXCELSIOR 🔥🔥🔥
Nuff said! 💪
Stan Lee was a fraud...Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko are the true creators of Marvels Universe
Awesome collection man! Hope you get to collect more! Keep the videos coming!

Nice collection my friend. Congrats
Thank you! Appreciate it!
Great collection Bro. Enjoy the journey.
I’m on board to finish this LONG journey!
i just started buying comics recently and even though i don't know value or nothing still nice to pick something up
Most definitely!

ASM is hard to collect. Everyone wants them and they don't come cheap. Nice collection for sure. My earliest copy is #27.
ASM will always be the most expensive! It’s a tough road ahead but it’s exciting! Issue 27 is a great one to have!
Here in Sweden spiderman was called The Spider and the 38th cover was used for the first issue here
That’s really cool!
@sonnyboycomics yeah but Im wondering why they just didnt use the same covers for the same books
Keep em coming and wish luck on ur hunt im on the same path for the boys whole run
@@amalgam137 Appreciate it! I have a few The Boys issues if you need them for the run!
@@sonnyboycomics I’ll let you I’m gonna first see if I can get the whole run at one shot the way you did for the invisible
@@amalgam137Sounds good!

I think after my ASM run is complete I’ll focus on those runs but this will be my goal for the next 5 plus years right now!
Love the content and I’m gonna follow a lot more. Just recently been getting into comic book collecting but have grown up with marvel my whole life. Still trying to decided what series I want to start piecing together! Any recommendations?
I really appreciate the kind words! I would recommend checking out Invincible! The graphic novels are cheap and the story is awesome!
Keep going sir you cam do it im doing a fantastic four 1-100 now, and I have 74 of them
Really appreciate the support! I will finish the run someday!
@sonnyboycomics as will I with my Fantastic Four run lol you have a Facebook id love to share some of my comics with you or Instagram
@ For sure! Sonny Boy Comics on Instagram!
You remind me of my friend Johnathan Solomon ❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂
Comic shops here in Vancouver, Canada have almost zero silver age Spideys.
They need more!

sweet ASM run dude :)
Thank you!
Great video! I am currently working to collect the full Web of run (+ cross over issues) It's a little more affordable than an ASM run 😅
100% Web is more affordable!

@@sonnyboycomics When did you start collecting?
@ I started the journey back in 2017! Always been a huge fan of the Marvel movies and wanted to learn more about their origins so I picked comics back up after high school!
I start my first low number asm with #12 too, back in 1990
It’s a great issue!
Do you mainly collect runs?
Right now the only run I’m trying to finish would be the Amazing Spider-Man run!
I hav the whole run only one AF15 I don’t hav but I hav the whole run its a beast
That’s wild! Congrats!
The spidey comics you don’t have in your collection is it from how expensive they are or they’re hard to find ?
They are hard to find! And once I find them they can be expensive!
Where om Instagram did u buy from?
I’ve seen comic accounts posting they have comics for sale!
Good luck brother.
Thank you very much!

@ Will do!
