    Are the LED's road legal? I'm thinking about fitting them on my car but I've been told they're not legal. Please help.

    Hey, I just bought a set of H1 from Novsight.
    I just tried fitting them, but they didn’t come with the adapter plate and the retaining clip of course doesn’t fit over the fan.
    Where can I get a set of adapters?

    Nice one look good. Are these canbus compatible? Have to rig up relays and resisters to get them running normally to stop the bulb warning lights on Vauxhall.

      +Zed Man no problems in the Honda mate , I think a lot of the time it’s trial and error with canbus compatible lamps , anything after 2005 / 2006 can be touch and go .

    Do you take out the battery for the driver's side?

    • @Cjrelectrical

      Yes it can be done but very very tight

    Hello just just changed my H1's to led today. Upon testing the high beam flasher lights, with all other lights off, I notice that the low beams flash as well with the highs. Is this normal? My 8th gen came HID low beams. Thanks.

    What’s with the 2 male connectors on the bulb when only one will fit in the plug ????? It should be just one . This would hardly be plugin’ play .

    • @Cjrelectrical
      @Cjrelectrical  6 років тому +1

      It’s definitely plug and play

      The cjrshop I didn’t notice it in the video as it looked like the second connector went to another wire.

    • @marcogarofalo6343
      @marcogarofalo6343 4 роки тому

      The second connector is the earth it goes onto the light body there's always at least 2 wires going to a bulb somewhere or it wouldn't light up

    • @Mr.Worf63
      @Mr.Worf63 4 роки тому

      PIECES OF TIME Yes the second connector is ground , the other power . But the H1 bulbs here in 🇨🇦🇨🇦 have a single blade connection at the bottom . It’s an all in one design . A car here with H1 bulbs has only one female connector doing both ground & power. His H1 is just like we have , accept his car has 2 wires.

    • @marcogarofalo6343
      @marcogarofalo6343 4 роки тому +1

      @@Mr.Worf63 that just means it's a switched live with a negative body earth, which basically means the whole car becomes the earth wire for the bulb. It still technically has 2 wires connected to it.

    Has the plastic cover behind the bulb started to melt also you had to remove the H7 to make accommodations for these H1s

    • @Cjrelectrical
      @Cjrelectrical  7 років тому +2

      No I did wonder that myself about the cover but it’s been fine , no the headlight runs both H7 and H1 for high and low beam . 👍🏻

    Do you have a link for these. And will they be okay on a 2008 mk8 civic?

    I've been told by a bloke that the H1 housing can be a really tight fit for certain LED bulbs, did you have to make any sort of modifications to get the globe through by any chance?
    I've got an FN2R, not sure if that's any different to your civics headlights.

    • @Cjrelectrical

      No mods whatsoever mate , I can see where that bloke is coming from but the ones I purchased are fine .

      @Cjrelectrical  7 років тому

      Tintoycar not forever but they will definitely outlast a standard halogen lamp .

      The light bulb in front of the battery, the driver's side in my country, is more difficult to change. How long can the car be disconnected from the battery when you remove it before the radio code goes out of the radio's memory?

    • @Cjrelectrical
      @Cjrelectrical  7 років тому

      Tintoycar mine very tight near battery but managed to do it , can’t you undo the battery strap and move the battery without disconnecting it ?

    • @Tintoycar
      @Tintoycar 7 років тому

      The light is still ok, but i changed the other side a couple of weeks ago and the other will break down soon i guess. I will try it like you say, i can also take out the battery and make a connection with cables so the battery is outside the car but still connected. When you change the battery within one minute, the memories of the radio and the windows will still be working.
