It looks a lot like my country, Scotland. In more ways than one, the people, the language, the culture. Our shared history stretches back thousands of years.
@@qlctravels I'm sure there's got to be full episodes available on UA-cam, if not it's definitely on the free UK and Ireland streaming platform for Channel 4 programming. It's one of the best sitcoms of all time..... And think of the competition in that genre. Friends, Seinfeld, the Office, Curb your Enthusiasm, Cheers and Frasier..... All fantastic sitcoms, but nothing compared to Father Ted. You have to binge on episodes. They're only 22-25 minutes per episode. Upload a reaction video of you both watching it for the first time. Watch the subscriber numbers sky rocket. You can thank me later when your channel blows up haha
For security reasons, I (Edward) have to adopt this new identity so I can travel. And Mary Lynn just wants out of the spotlight for a bit. Thanks for watching! - “Brian”

Kilkenny was one of our favorite places for an extended stay.
The countryside of Ireland is Gorgeous. I’m happy you had such a great tour guide. 💜
Ireland is a dream trip for me! Love this one!
We definitely felt a strong connection to nature (and potential ancestry) up there. Possibly more so than any other place we visited.

Most Americans know John Boorman because he directed the movie Deliverance.

Indeed, never seen an episode, but we’re curious to know what the show did to put you off! ☺️

I thought I was watching Mary Lynn Rajskub & Edward Snowden tour Ireland for a second

Youve never seen 'Deliverance'??
Boorman also made Excalibur (which is the Harry Potter of it's day 😄)
Nope. Heard of it, but never seen.
@@qlctravels Make sure you do, once you've finished having a blast around Europe. Enjoy! 😍
