Goodbye, London! Goodbye, Europe! | Our final days abroad
This is it: our FINAL day on this crazy, 91-day adventure backpacking around Europe. We tried so hard to pretend it wasn't coming to an end, but it was all we could think about as we retraced our steps from our first full day in London all the way back at the start of the trip. It's been a wild ride, and we've made SO many memories that will last a lifetime. We're not saying goodbye forever, but for now, we'll just say this: Thank you for everything, Europe. We can't wait to see you again.

A MAGICAL return to LONDON! 🇬🇧 | There's SO MUCH left to explore...
Переглядів 8 тис.Місяць тому
And just like that, we were back in the city where it all began: London! The instant we arrived, the nostalgia set in, and it only grew as we revisited some of the places we explored our first time around (we even stayed in the same hostel because we're THAT sentimental). But it wasn't all familiar sights, of course. The vast majority of our time was spent exploring new sections of the city and...
Castles, arcades, and beautiful bays in CARDIFF 🏴 | Do NOT overlook Wales!
Переглядів 4,7 тис.2 місяці тому
It was another city we never intended to visit but after exploring London, Edinburgh, and Belfast, it was only fair to venture to Wales and round out the U.K. capitals. Lucky for us, we had a great time! Cardiff Castle was far more impressive than we expected, the arcades were filled with cool shops, the bay area was beautiful, and there was some VERY unique architecture on display. We get the ...
Retracing our steps in Edinburgh! | This really IS goodbye, Scotland... 😢
Переглядів 4,5 тис.2 місяці тому
We began our final day in Edinburgh with something VERY different from anything else we'd experienced on the trip. But afterwards, it was time for a "greatest hits" day, where we retraced our steps from our first time in the city (with a few deviations here and there). It was emotional knowing we were leaving this place for good this time... but as we've hinted, this is NOT goodbye forever. We'...
Scottish Highlands: the MOST BEAUTIFUL landscapes we've seen? 🏔️ | This was truly a day to remember
Переглядів 14 тис.2 місяці тому
It's not every day you get to see sights like these. The weather may have been a mixed bag, but the Scottish Highlands still managed to make a STRONG impression on us. We already loved Scotland before this day trip thanks to our time in Edinburgh, but after spending some time up north, with incredible landscapes all around us, our appreciation for the country grew even more. We spent time at th...
WE'RE BACK IN EDINBURGH! 🏴 | We just HAD to see it again
Переглядів 8 тис.2 місяці тому
This wasn't originally part of the plan but we loved Edinburgh so much the first time around, we squeezed in a few more days here at the tail end of the trip! The weather might not have been as picture perfect as the first visit, and we may have fallen victim to the Travel Day Curse yet again, but honestly, we didn't care in the slightest! Why? Because WE WERE IN SCOTLAND! FOLLOW US ON: ► Insta...
Athens feels OTHERWORLDLY 🇬🇷 | This city touched our souls
Переглядів 1,1 тис.3 місяці тому
We know we keep mentioning how beautiful each city we visit is, but we can say this definitively: Athens gave us THE BEST view overlooking a city of the entire trip. Standing atop the Acropolis, staring out at the vast expanse of white buildings stretching to the bordering mountains, was one of the most awe-inspiring sights of our entire lives. Honestly, it might be THE most awe-inspiring sight...
The SMALLEST COUNTRY in the world! | Vatican City 🇻🇦 (& more Rome!)
Переглядів 1,1 тис.3 місяці тому
Here's a fun fact: Vatican City is BEAUTIFUL. Truly every bit as beautiful as we were expecting. What we WEREN'T expecting is just how much the Vatican Museums had to offer. We spent the majority of our final full day in Italy (well, technically it WASN'T spent in Italy, because Vatican City is its own country!) exploring the countless rooms filled with incredible art and ancient artifacts. Nee...

Is this real life? Are we ACTUALLY exploring the Colosseum? The Pantheon? Places so old the year they were built is only DOUBLE DIGITS and some of them even B.C.?! It's so hard to believe this happened... but it did! And the best part is, this was only day one! There's still two more days of Rome to come! Is Florence the BEST city in Italy? | It was so much more than we expected...
Переглядів 4,3 тис.4 місяці тому
So granted, we've only been to four Italian cities, but this one was far and away our favorite. The scenery and architecture were beautiful; the food and wine were delicious; the atmosphere was surprisingly laid back; the weather was perfect; there were impressive sculptures placed all throughout the city... And of course, Florence has THE MOST spectacular sculpture of all: Michelangelo's David...

Oh Venice... how we miss you. What a unique and stunning city; just navigating it was unlike anything else we did on this trip. And coming off 2 days in a cloudy, grey Milan, the weather HERE was the icing on the incredible cake that was Venice, Italy. So join us as we explore churches, count bridges, and get lost in a truly one-of-a-kind city! FOLLOW US ON: ► Instagram: qlc_trave...
ONWARD to ITALY! 🇮🇹 | Our first stop: MILAN!
Переглядів 1 тис.4 місяці тому
Our first few days in Italy may have been rainy, but that didn't make Milan any less beautiful. We saw a bit of everything here: castles, churches, archways, street performers, expensive shopping malls, and even a pizza-spinning show! Milan was just the first of 4 Italian cities on our route, and despite a shady first impression in the metro station, the rest of our time was filled with pretty ...
Switzerland = STUNNING 🇨🇭 | Nobody prepared us for Bern...
Переглядів 12 тис.4 місяці тому
You may be ludicrously expensive, but we forgive you, Switzerland. Why? Because you have positively gorgeous landscapes. We've seen beauty on this trip, but few places have been able to rival YOUR beauty. And as for the city: Bern was quite unique. Maybe not the most architecturally diverse, but it still managed to leave us with many happy memories. Onward to Italy! FOLLOW US ON: ► Instagram: i...

Darn, only just got a thumbnail popup for this as I only check when videos come out. Will watch it when I have a few hours spare 👍
I love Edinburgh, I live 90 minutes away, but I can jump on a train for ~$10. If you ever return, try and coincide with the Tattoo in August, it's an amazing spectacle.
If you like Switzerland, take a look of "Andri Ragettli" stuff. Great Swiss person.
Enjoyed watching this incredible video. Did a 16 day England Wales and Scotland trip back in May 2016 and loved it. Spent 2 days in Liverpool went to Beetles museum. Loved Scotland, went to Glasgow, Glenfinnen, Inverness, Isle of Skye, St.Andrews, and Edinburgh. Edinburgh is breathtaking, loved the Castle and the overlook it was awesome. Awesome country and people!!
no mention at all of the ruined abby attached to holyrood palace
Most Americans know John Boorman because he directed the movie Deliverance.
There are no Ubers in Dublin. If youn want to be ripped off, go eating or drinking in Temple Bar, it's a tourist trap. Ask any Dubliner and they'll point you to bars and restaurants five minures away that are half the price, plus you'll meet real Irish people.
I've really enjoyed dipping in to your travel blogs Lauren and Brian. Good to see where it all began for you. I'm an Edinburgher and so was hugely touched by your reaction to Auld Reekie. Sometimes seeing your everyday environment through the reactions of first time visitors brings it home just how beautiful home actually is! Hoping you have readapted to USA once again. With gratitude for your generous, warm hearted film adventures.
Very cool guy's. Ive always liked Kearney and Yandas.
The underground stores are in the charcoal cellars and the doors are were they used to slide the charcoal down
Try New Mexico, you guys. Not big city but nature!

The problem with trains from Germany to a final destination in Switzerland is well known to travellers - the German trains are often late, arrive often too late at Swiss border to fit into the dense public transport network timetable in Switzerland any more. So arriving trains are stopped before scheduled destination - at some critical border stations Swiss railway company keeps backup trains to leave the border station on time for the journey in Switzerland, travellers arriving too late on the train from Germany will have to wait for an other connecting train. Tickets are valid for connecting train to final destination. Looks like in that specific case, train was allowed to continue to Winterthur railway node only.
That was great.....makes me want to go.
So sorry I missed your stream. Looking forward to your next live event and next videos. Come back to the UK soon, there is so much to see here!❤
Hi. I'm from Aberdeenshire (castle country) but have lived in Edinburgh for almost 30 years. When you live here you sort of take all the wonderful sights for granted. Thank you for your enthusiasm about my beloved nation. BTW You mentioned Kelpies (water horses) when you were at Loch Ness... Did you spot Andy Scott's beautiful 100ft tall steel sculptures of the Kelpies just outside Falkirk on your way back to Edinburgh? We got a fleeting glimpse of them at 16.59 on your video. They're modelled on a pair of Clydesdale horses that pulled the barges along the canals - Baron has his head up and Duke has his head down. They're even more impressive close up and there's now a 'tour' you can do that allows you to go inside Baron and climb up into his head!
Sorry I missed your live, so lovely to catch up with you ❤
Such miserable people
You could have stayed in nice ZÜRICH instead.
Applause! Thanks for taking us along.
Yeah, if you buy a train ticket in Switzerland then you can take any train at any time who goes to your destination, unless you bought a ticket with a very reduced fare, so you are train bound. And as you mentioned, you came from Munich. I guess the train was so delayed ( Deutsche Bahn salutes you) that the Swiss had to end the train in Winterthur so as to not delay the Swiss train schedule. It happens every Day. But as the Swiss railway schedule has trains every 30.min to every destination it shouldnt bei a big problem
Wĥat made scotland special to you and when are you coming back😊
Hi guys sorry I missed your live stream but followed you all through your trip my favourite was my city Edinburgh born and bread 62 years forget everywhere else come back to scotland we love you cheers
I hadn’t watched your early video’s so i checked a couple out……..wow, first time outside America……Wow, Edinburgh video 165K views, by far the most watched, then again when you come back the views go way up again, my daughter was asking why are people fascinated with Edinburgh ? i said it all depends on where you come from and what you’re used to seeing every day, so seeing Edinburgh for the first time is like a whole different world, Americans won’t having like it over there……or seeing Glencoe for the first time, it’s untouched & timeless, so for us we see it every day so it’s normal, for American’s it’s a total shock to the system, hope to see you back over some time, loved watching your journey 😍👌🏻
Hi, missed the live stream…..loved your Scotland video’s, i love seeing visitors reactions to how awesome a country it is…….Colorado!!! I have American friends that live there 👍🏻😁they came here early this year and got engaged on the Isle of Skye 💍
YES! I want to see the souvenirs!!
They demolished the original Cavern club ... To build the Liverpool underground railway (subway)... The Cavern got in the way of it... .. Its now a ventalation shaft for the subway ...Tourism in Liverpool was not that big in 1973 .. There is a sign, in Mathew street saying exactly where it was originally ... The new Cavern club (30 meters away ..about ) is a replica of the original... I watched and enjoyed all your videos/travels. Thank you :))) .. From a Scouser
Commenting after the live stream presumably helps too. So here.... We.... Comment
I am planning a 120 day 17 country trip at the end of 2025. It will be me , my husband, and two kids (20 and 12). Your videos have helped me see the real side of travel. I like that you included your frustrating days. A lot of UA-camrs leave that out
Sorry we missed the livestream, we were travelling, but my husband and I have watched every single episode since your adventure started, we were so sad when it came to an end! Also, now when I offer to take someone's photo when we're on holiday we refer to it as 'doing a Lauryn' 🤣 Thanks for all the great vlogs, look forward to seeing more!
A phenomenal trip, i'm so glad you took it. Great to just ditch work for that time. As we say in Scotland, enjoy your life because you're a long time dead.
I'm surprised you found Paris safe. I thought it was a hellhole last time i was there. I witnessed 3 pickpocketings (1 was just after and i believe a weapon was involved as a woman was crying hysterically speaking to the police). We also saw a fight in the underground, blood everywhere and it went on and on. The police never turned up before pur train left.
I really enjoyed all your blogs l started with your Edinburgh then l binged watched every one you are a lovely couple hope you have a lovely Christmas 🎄 l also live an hour from Edinburgh you made me really appreciate that we are so lucky to live so near such a beautiful city love from Bonnie Scotland ❤
Sorry I missed your live-stream. I had no idea the trip was so long in the past. I waited eagerly for each next instalment. As someone who lives in Scotland, I’m so glad you saw more than just Edinburgh.
enjoyed the travel blog, thanks
Im sorry i missed your livestream! It was great to catch up. Hope to make it if you livestream again 😄 P.s. The curse of the travel day was real!!! You definitely were not being dramatic about it!
Morning from Bristol Airport. Will be in Faro Portugal by late morning. Sun 🌞!!
I go in a couple of weeks- sun!!!! :-)
Hi from Australia ❤
Nice to see you both again.
Just watched the first 15 minutes that I missed live. Sword/Colorado/New job. Congrats!
Hi guys glad you loved being here in Edinburgh
I picked up your travels during your Edinburgh videos, and have been watching ever since. Really enjoyed watching your adventures!

To enjoy britain best the average american should go into training and get your steps up. Bring worn in walking shoes or boots. Most americans are not used to walking the miles we take for granted. By the way in the 17th 18th century Covent Garden and Haymarket areas had a salacious reputation for its brothels. Haymarket ware or Covent Garden ware were euphemisms for ladies of low repute.
I grew up in Bern and still live in Bern and I could never live in a place without mountains. I have traveled a bit and places without mountains just feel like there's something missing
