This study focusses on chromaticism, which is really helpful for getting good at all intervals on the oboe. In most of this study, the notes descend by a semitone/chromatic interval and then rise by a tone (2 semitones).
If this study looks daunting to you even before starting, one good way to just get into it is to divide it into six different sections like I did and practice each section individually. Overall it feels more enjoyable than playing it the whole way through at one go. :)
