    An easy way to remember harmonic fingering on the oboe is a fifth below the written note on the stave. Use the lower octave fingering for the note that is a fifth below the written note, plus the octave key (either first or second). Or, just memorise the different harmonic fingerings that are written out so clearly above the study.
    Harmonics are useful for creating different colours in the music especially when there are many of the same repeated note(s).

      I had less lung capacity to hold phrases for a long time so had to take more frequent breaths.
