Excellent advice. For those of you out there that like criticising Crossfit. One of the original WODs was exacy this 5 pull ups. 10 press ups. 15 air squats. As many rounds as possible in 20 mins. Killer scalable simple workout whether you can 10 rounds or 30.
Very solid. I did this for 10 rounds with 6 burpees (with push-up) instead of push-ups and 9 jump squats instead of squats, it will be a great addition to my routine on those days where I'm short on time !
dont try these, or try harder variations. Only way to get bigger is progressive overload. You gotta increase the weight overtime. You cant do that with pushups etc once you reach a certain point. I suggest hit the gym or buy a dumbell set. Becausr dumbells can almost target all parts of the body. Also once you workout make sure its intense (go to failure, look it up if you dont know how) and finish it. Finally eat in a caloric surplus. Easiest way is to have a protein shake with penut butter + olive oil twice a day. Also hit your protein intake per day. Simple as that. I stopped doing all these “one minute home workout” crap you see online and actually follow this type of training protocol. And since january to right now im buff as hell. Atleast compared to before.

if you are pretty good at pushups and have good joints locking out should be safe
Not necessarily. I find just before lock out is good because tension is kept on the chest, resulting in I a better pump for your chest.
