I always love your viewpoint on feminism, it’s all about giving women options to do WHATEVER they want in life, even if it may seem “old fashioned” it’s not for everyone and that’s ok. Also congrats on your certification!
Sapphire Edwards i completely agree! People are so polarized on this topic, but I think there’s both truth to it and problems with the modern expression of it. Anna clearly believes in the powerful independent women but still sees tradition in a positive light and I feel the same way 100%
Sapphire Edwards It’s about choice. Having good manners and grace means we have more choices. There is no one way to be a woman, but understanding and the power of etiquette, charm, and looking and feeling confident and polished helps us all to be the best at whatever we choose.

International etiquette and protocol, should be part of all women’s learning journey. After all, how can you manage a home staff or entertain without knowing how it’s properly done, first. Congratulations! This is more proof of how serious you are about teaching and helping others🙂
Great video! My grandmother attended a Swiss finishing school back in the day, in the 1930s. A lot has changed in society since then. It is refreshing to hear that there are still people out there who care about protocol and etiquette. I like your channel!
@@MissAllaCinderella oh please! I'm 47 years old and I don't feel I'm old at all. You are super young compared to me. So girl... Age does not define you and me. And you are right. It's never too late. I don't know if you have seen comments on Anna's videos from women who are 74, 79 and one super sweet who is 89. They are super inspiring. They say they are learning a lot and still will find themselves a rich husband. Isn't that awesome? I actually happen to have gone to this very beautiful luxurious wedding, the bride and the groom were both 75 years "young", as they preferred to say, and it was such an amazing experience. She found a man to provide for her and to look after her. She was not embarrassed at all to say, (on her ladies's dinner party 1 day before her wedding), she had finally found a VERY rich man and that her 2 previous husbands, (she is a widower, her 1st husband, and divorced her 2nd), were not what she had dreamt for herself. (I felt so honored to have been invited for that). She looks 20 years younger than she actually is, she's such a beautiful, educated, polite and classy woman. mariam ali I’ll give you a list of things that I’ve noticed contributed in my success dating. 1. I’m sorry but looks, looking cute or sexy all the time. Nails done, hair done, nice body. It’s the first thing men notice about you. 2. Being nice, smile often and keep eye contact. 3. Standing tall and confident. This makes guys flaunt over me because they think I’m something really special. 4. Sometimes you have to start the conversation. For example, if you’re at a bar “what drink do you recommend, this is my first time here”. 5. Stay away from areas with low class men. They have no respect and nothing to offer. They try to use compliments as a reason to get in your pant. Say thank you and keep it moving always. 6. Be very kind, but don’t be too available. 7. Have hobbies and interests of your own because he WILL ask. The more interesting you are, the more valuable you are to him. 8. Let him be the man. He wants to spend money on you and treat you like a princess, tell him you appreciate it and he will do it more often. 9. Build a strong foundation for yourself because it makes it seem like you’re less available. Go to school, start a business, take care of yourself. 10. Speak softly.

It's great that Anna is experimenting. And the setting is very nice and that she varies it. But I agree with you, that it is still best when Anna looks directly into the camera.
Ms. Bey, I cannot stress how endangered a species the elegant lady actually is. Thank you forhelping to save the elegant lady from extinction! Some naive people do not understand that you teach an effective form of true feminine freedom. There is not just one version of a modern, sophisticated woman. Being a lady, someone who makes all who surround her feel comfortable, someone who makes a party seem effortless, someone who chooses eloquence over vulgarity, what a rarity these days. Really, etiquette and manners are the true currency of the future! Congratulations on your incredible experience, and your certification. I hope women of all ages understand the discipline and challenges (as well as the great rewards) of cultivating one's most refined self, and take your course.
I love this video and am so happy for you. I went to finishing school in 1987 as an 18 year old, and those skills and graces have opened doors for me throughout my life. As a twenty year old I held my own in very elite circles. My wealthy girl friends looked up to me. lol I think it's very important for a woman to experience these things. My wonderful husband is very proud of the woman I am and the fact that I made him look very good. ;) Congratulations, darling lady!
As a diplomatic protocol officer, I am in awe that you got to attend this school (I know of this specific place and it's a dream of mine to attend one day!) I am so happy that you'll share even some of these gems with us. Please accept my belated congratulations on this wonderful accomplishment. Completing that program is a mark of distinction.
Sharing your journey alone gives us, your audience, value because you break the berriers and create a leveled field for anyone to access and practice etiquette. Respectable people understand that particular private schools and other facilities are selective/private but you grant us the tools to become the type of women high society wishes to work with thus opening the doors of equality. Thank You.
You are so refreshing. I’m older than you and have European values of etiquette ingrained in me, but I know I can learn more from you. This video has inspired me to join your online finishing school in the very near future. Best wishes in your continued success Anna.
Wow! So inspiring! You are the older sister I always wanted to have: someone to look up to, with experience, sharing good advise in every sense. The fact that you took that trip and got certified is another level of CLASS!! Congratulations on the completion of the program & certification achievement. I’m sure your online school is really going to expand to other fun & interesting feminine areas of life. Can’t wait to see more! Cheers to you 🥂
Anna you really are amazing and such an inspiration 😍I attended Lucy Clayton Finishing School in London in the late 80’s, it really has given me an upper hand throughout my life(I am now 48), it truly taught me that you can have a personality, be powerful and feminine all at the same time, I look forward to having a refresher course through your school and well done on the fantastic message you bring to us 🤗🤗
The idea of Finishing School is intriguing. I am 2 weeks shy of 42, but I love learning all of this. Here’s why: When I was in 6th grade (US system of school), my mother found some antique books from 1904 (I think) that were basically How To Be A Proper Woman. I was so into My Fair Lady and American Girl (Pleasant Company)’S Samantha doll. I had a lot of progress that summer. My handwriting improved and my confidence was bolstered. Only to have it knocked out from under me in 7th grade. I have always wondered how I would have handled my life differently if I had been encouraged and nurtured in my path to womanhood. Now as a mom of twin girls who are also 7th graders, I want to give them this foundation. So thank you, Anna, for this.
Well done Anna for putting your money where you mouth is and going to the school and learning how to do it all properly! I found this very interesting. Sometimes I see how younger people conduct themselves, especially at table; they don't even know how to hold a knife and fork properly. I was taught by nuns and they were very strict, no slouching, no elbows on the table, forks go prong down (they aren't shovels) and you don't hold your knife like a pencil, etc. etc. How times have changed but its nice to know some people still have standards. Can't wait for your upcoming videos.
Just found your channel. A great deal of what you teach is common sense, but there are people, myself included, who could do with some improving as far as etiquette, dressing well and presenting your best self. Happy I found you. Great channel!!!
I love the fact you went and completed finishing school to continue working on your own journey but also elevate your viewers journey as well. You are very impressive.
You are a role model. All my life I’ve been feeling something different on certain aspects, like for example when you say “keeping things private” and the reasons you explain are the same reasons I’ve been practicing not to say my plans to anybody. Now I found your youtube channel and I’ve found out myself and the way I am is okay, and I feel not only that other people like you have the same view at certain tropics but I can learn more about other things, and feeling so proud about it. I’m finally understanding myself at my 24’s. Thank you Anna for all the inspiring work that you do. ♥️ (By the way I really hope I expressed myself the way I wanted. I’m learning English as my second language which is such a blessing because I can expand my knowledge finding and understanding people like you.)
I have every intention of taking up your online course as soon as I get my life to a fairly stable condition. It’s definitely up there on my list of priorities. Much love.
It sounds like you had a lovely experience, which is nice to hear. I appreciate so much that you are not on a high horse and keep educating yourself as well as are striving to pass your lessons on to us. Thank you Anna!
Ladies and gentlemen, if this is something you are interested in, then pay attention to what Anna is generously giving you! The school is perhaps beyond the means of many, so I, for one, am happy to learn! Thank you for your generosity!❤️
Anna I confess that I would love have such a tradition finishing etiquette school like that! I really Working on be my best version and I’m educating myself for it and I consider you my mentor on this journey!!! Thanks so much!!!
Gosh!! I got excited when I new that we are of the same age.. I am already happily married but I love your contents and the way you motivate girls or women to always be on top of their game.. More power to you Anna..
Ah that sounds amazing actually. Congratulations on your diploma. I’m so excited to learn a little about etiquette from your channel. Thanks for everything you’ve taught me. I’ve learned a lot.
I actually love this news! This is one of my sort of strange goals is to attend a finishing school. It's so old-fashioned and no one I know has done it before but I think it would be so enriching!
Many congratulations to you, Anna! The degree is going to be a great asset to your channel. I can hardly wait to see what you have learned. Switzerland is simply beautiful!
Congratulations Ms. Bey! I admire you so much. Also, I love how you always inspire to better yourself along with sharing your experiences with your viewers - thank you for that. I can't wait till your next video.
This is great! You’re doing such amazing things for women all over the world - truly inspiring. 😊🌸It’s great to see that finishing schools still exist. I was fortunate that my mother attended a finishing school and passed down that information (But this was just rare luck). Looking forward to your next videos 😊💕
Finishing schools are wonderful. I attended Lucy Clayton in London and it has served me very well in both my private and professional lives. My aunt also attended Lucy Clayton in the late 1950’s and became a successful model with them.
I agree. Discretion is a must. In my career I work with high power people, especially men. I can't talk about it with anyone, because I really believe in confidentiality
1986 we’re the same age🍾 Congratulations on your diploma and I commend your pursuit of bettering yourself and understanding discretion. Discretion is one of the classiest attributes a person can cultivate. And it is absolutely free.
Hi , Ana. Congratulations! Well done! Love your channel. I’m happily married and have a successful career. But I have learned a lot from you in terms of elegance and self- presentation. Would you kindly do a video on women’s perfumes that are regarded and appropriate in high society . Thank you in advance! Best of luck❤️
This is amazing Ana! I am already a student of you so I can't wait to see how you will teach us this information. You are for sure my role model. Love from the Netherlands xx
Anna, it will be perfect to see your videos about etiquette and about good behavior. Maybe not only in high society but in general. Personaly, I think that etiquette should be part of daily life. Even in office, meetings, night out etc.
Y ou are one of my role models, I did not contemplate the idea of a finishing school; but I like the idea, it will be on my to-do list. Thank you, Anna.
Thank you for inspiring us with your class, experience and grace!! U keep on teaching me and many other young women so many valuable lessons. I love your videos and the knowledge you share with us!
I enjoyed hearing about your Swiss finishing school experience. I just did something similar. I'm a musician and it was an intensive, week-long residential workshop on medieval music (my specialty). I so relate to your feelings that it was exciting, challenging, a beautiful but isolated location (mine too!), but occasionally a bit overwhelming in terms of long long hours of study & practice! Yay - we both survived!!
Anna thanks for your video and you are also making progress Your content is getting better and better, and you really do it with your heart. Under your video, I have learned a lot, even if I don’t enter the upper class, it is very useful for my own development. Thank you, my goddess Aries❤️
Congratulations! Certainly a new (or improved, rather) set of skills, that will prove worth having spent the time and money on for you. If you do it, do it right. 👏👏👏
So very proud of you. School is never out for the professional. I can remember having a similar opportunity as a very young lady. It was a prerequisite if one wanted to attend tea dances at the US Naval Academy, or maintain oneself at hunt club balls etc. You must have so enjoyed this once in a lifetime event.
Congratulations. I appreciate you being genuine. I like the balance of feminism and old fashioned values. It’s not good to be poor and miserable, but it’s also not good to be so privileged that entitlement is a person’s core values. Depends on the social situations and in the context of things, there’s a time to be assertive, and there’s a time to be humble. I love being a woman!
I admire you for improving your situation in life and encouraging others to do the same. Those who criticize you may have been born in to privilege or don't have the potential to improve themselves.
Could you please make a video about grooming? You mentioned in your previous video that grooming is much more important than the clothes, but I like to see how to do that, thank you so much! 😊 You are such a inspiration
How wonderful an experience. I collect vintage etiquette books and love reading about how ladies lived elegantly in earlier times. My favorite class at my all girls high school in New Orleans was Charm and Deportment. I never use geometry but I use what I learned in Charm class everyday.
Well done! It's super difficult juggling everyday commitments while still making yourself available to friends and family so to add working towards a diploma on top of it all and achieving it is impressive, I'm so excited to learn more, looking forward to the videos ahead, I know there will be gems of guidance and advice in them
Meghan Livington it sounds like you begrudge a woman who’s made substantial investments in her education and career to become an expert in her field her business income. Is that what you’re saying?
Anna you’re amazing! And yes while feminism is the rage, the right of choice is timeless. And if a woman chooses to undermine themselves to be traditional and elegant, SO BE IT! Congrats Anna!
Wow. It's about time. This is really helpful for someone like that I never had any parental upbringing; and I has affected my way of woman life. I really hope I could afford and attend. I am delighted to learn from you dear Anna Bey.
My great grandmother who emigrated from Sweden, attended a finishing school before she came to the US. I have heard about this all my life. I wish I knew more about her but she lived in the 19th century and passed away when my dad was four years old, in 1943. I have seen a few pictures of her and I am fascinated by her and so curious about her. She was an accomplished, determined, and intentional woman for her time. My grandmother married young (at 16, which was common then) and my grandfather was older and established to be able to marry. My grandmother moved into this family's home and her mother-in-law, my great grandmother, taught her everything she knew in order to run a household. My mother always said that my grandmother, my mother's mother-in-law, was the best cook she ever knew. She practiced the Swedish way of how she was taught to buy the very best, then make it last. My grandmother always had a pristine tidy and elegant home. By the way, my great grandmother's name was Anna. I have always loved that name because of her. I wonder many times throughout life if I live in a way that she would approve. She had very high standards.
Dear Anna, I am glad you read my comment and you enjoyed it. You have so many subscribers and videos with countless comments, and this was an old video too. I am a new subscriber to your channel and find it refreshing to find someone young as you who practices the wisdom in old proven ways of how women and men will always be what we are made to be. I have 4 young grown children, with my two daughters being ages 20 and 18. I would love to send my daughters to this school. My oldest is a professional ballerina and travels internationally but is home now during this shelter in place time because it has shut down all performances. My 18 year old has a new relationship with an accomplished young man of her age who has an exciting future ahead of him with soon attending the top university of his life long plans. The things my husband and I tell her how to handle situations sound like many you say as well. I am thankful she listens to us because what I advise her seems completely opposite from how other girls her age handle new relationship situations! I know you can relate to that, and it is the basis of the success of your channel. I share your videos with my girls. I have seen wonderfully surprising incidents emerge from my 20 year old since she has returned home this last time, and I am so proud of her incorporating these smart practices during her time away on her own. All these things will serve her well through life. I did get a little off topic, going from past to youngest generations in my family, but in all that, to let you know how much it means to know you practice what you share, as you do notice comments from your subscribers, even from old videos. Graciousness does matter and takes various forms. I will continue to explore your videos. There are many things I appreciate about you, and the first impression is your personal presentation. I share with my family (yes even my dear husband) that this is our image to the world in how they define us. You define yourself in dignity and beauty. Other ladies can take note by you that both can be accomplished together well! Bless you, dear Anna, and I continue to look forward to your videos.
I look forward to seeing videos of what you learned at the finishing school. I, personally, love setting tables, planning menus and having dinner guests.
Thank you so much Anna. You are an inspiration to me. I always wanted to be an elegant lady and I'm so glad to find your channel. You gave answers to many doubts I had in modern fashion...greetings from Sri Lanka
Congratulations on your certification, Anna! Thank you for sharing those exclusive images of your experience. They were exciting to see. Looking forward to learning more.💐
I understand and respect that you didn't / couldn't mention where you went to school. Yet you say you are a business woman who thinks networking is important. To me the fact that you are not mentioning the name of the school sounds more like a 'missed opportunity' on both sides. Through your videos your could promote the school. The school in turn would gain more devotees interested and anxious to learn at their academy. Although, I do not own a business like you Ana, I have always been taught that the highest compliment you could ever pay a business is to refer them to others. Not a criticism just food for thought. No matter what I still love your videos and gain great value and insight from watching. Thank you as always for sharing.

my parents were the same with table etiquette. if my mother caught me slouching she'd fix it and whisper "you're not an ape. don't sit like one" haha
Absolutely, because attending a 4 yr university to obtain an actual, academically based education is so over rated!
(By the way I really hope I expressed myself the way I wanted. I’m learning English as my second language which is such a blessing because I can expand my knowledge finding and understanding people like you.)
I have every intention of taking up your online course as soon as I get my life to a fairly stable condition. It’s definitely up there on my list of priorities. Much love.
binboda it is sooooo worth it!!!!! ❤️
It sounds like you had a lovely experience, which is nice to hear. I appreciate so much that you are not on a high horse and keep educating yourself as well as are striving to pass your lessons on to us. Thank you Anna!
I love you more and more. You are just so relatable and come across as very kind, funny, smart, girl's girl. My favorite YT channel by far.
Ladies and gentlemen, if this is something you are interested in, then pay attention to what Anna is generously giving you! The school is perhaps beyond the means of many, so I, for one, am happy to learn! Thank you for your generosity!❤️
Anna, you are truly such a spectacular woman. What an amazing role model! So much love to you xoxo
You're the woman I hope to become some day. Thank you for everything you do Anna.
I’m growing out my hair & training to go into the flight career. Your videos are helping me to refine myself. Thanks! 🤟🏼 ❤️🌹
Anna I confess that I would love have such a tradition finishing etiquette school like that! I really Working on be my best version and I’m educating myself for it and I consider you my mentor on this journey!!! Thanks so much!!!
I am so excited for you! Congratulations!
I was wondering, would you make a "warderobe tour" video? I'm sure that a lot of us would love to see it!
Gosh!! I got excited when I new that we are of the same age.. I am already happily married but I love your contents and the way you motivate girls or women to always be on top of their game.. More power to you Anna..
That's so amazing! How old are you?
I'm 33 my dear.. How about you?😊
Ah that sounds amazing actually. Congratulations on your diploma. I’m so excited to learn a little about etiquette from your channel. Thanks for everything you’ve taught me. I’ve learned a lot.
A good finishing school is an investment into our happily ever after!
Congratulations!❤🌹
I clicked like without even watching the full video, that's how much I appreciate your content.
Anna, your dress in this video is beautiful, the material, the fit- perfection. 🌸💕
Also the dress color is very complimentary for her personal skin and hair tones
Congratulations dear! You inspire women to be the best versions of themselves and I'm even more excited for your upcoming videos now 🌹
This is great! You’re doing such amazing things for women all over the world - truly inspiring. 😊🌸It’s great to see that finishing schools still exist. I was fortunate that my mother attended a finishing school and passed down that information (But this was just rare luck). Looking forward to your next videos 😊💕
Finally, I’ve been waiting for this for a month 😭
Incredible. Investing in one's self adds value to your life that no one can take away. Brilliant.
Becoming more and more better Anna as an absolute perfectionist!!!
Anna can you do a video on classy/unclassy jewelley? Such as Cartier, Rolex watches - what’s your opinion on these?
Yess this is needed !
Congratulations Anna! Thank you for being such an elegant and beautiful role model. ❤️
Your room decor is goals 😍😍😍
@Meghan Livington
How do you know that?
So excited for you! Can't wait to see what wonderful things you learned!
I LOOOVE THIS! I've been thinking about attending a finishing school and this is amazing! Congrats
Congratulations, Anna Bey! Your passion and commitment is complimentary!
This is fantastic!!! Congratulations on this experience. I can't wait to see all you can teach us from the finishing school. Thanks!
I'm glad you was able to attend the school. Im sure it was quite an experience but a very helpful one. It's always good to learn.
Great job!!! I am glad the schools like this still exist 😊
Congrats! I wish to be as elegant and as passionate as you are 😊 Thanks for inspiring us in lots of ways!
When i saw the title, i said: “Oh no, she is pregnant!” 😂
I thought she would say she got married, haha
Maria Alexandra me too!
Ana Chayres same
Oh no? What is bad about being pregnant?🤷♀️
I’m a teenager and you’re my role model ! Congratulations Anna
My dear elegant Anna ! Thank you for everything ❤️! I wish lots of happiness and success! You are so dear to me.
I am excited! I love the etiquette videos!
Anna, it will be perfect to see your videos about etiquette and about good behavior. Maybe not only in high society but in general. Personaly, I think that etiquette should be part of daily life. Even in office, meetings, night out etc.

ou are one of my role models, I did not contemplate the idea of a finishing school; but I like the idea, it will be on my to-do list.
Excited to see what you will be passing on to us. I’ve always thought the idea of a finishing school is so chic.
I am very happy you gave yourself this amazing experience.
We will all benefit from your extensive training in etiquette.
Thank you!
I know the finishing school she is talking about, it is the last official finishing school in Switzerland. Congratulations on your certification.
IVP
Well done! It's super difficult juggling everyday commitments while still making yourself available to friends and family so to add working towards a diploma on top of it all and achieving it is impressive, I'm so excited to learn more, looking forward to the videos ahead, I know there will be gems of guidance and advice in them
Will you be teaching us finishing school etiquettes on your channel?
Meghan Livington it sounds like you begrudge a woman who’s made substantial investments in her education and career to become an expert in her field her business income. Is that what you’re saying?
I’m so jealous that you were able to this! I’d love to have the same experience.
Many congratulations. I’m absolutely delighted for you. Very well done.
I can’t wait to learn about cultural etiquette! I will be investing in your finishing school! ❤️
So wish I had done this as a young lady. Wonderful information. Thank you for your generosity.
Anna you’re amazing! And yes while feminism is the rage, the right of choice is timeless. And if a woman chooses to undermine themselves to be traditional and elegant, SO BE IT!
Congrats Anna!
I am so grateful for you. I was praying about these things.
Looking forward to learning more.💐
Congratulations on your certification. You inspire all who follow you.
I have always wanted to do this! So excited that you got to go!
Congratulations! On the Diploma! :-)
I'm so excited, and can't wait for the upcoming videos!
Just found you learned a lot as I am a retailer and ask customers many questions and nice
