Hi Kim, I think it's pretty cool how you do things your way. Also, when you mentioned certain city sounds or frequencies being particularly unpleasant, I really related to that. Where I live is kind of tucked back in a wooded area, but only thinly. beyond that, I am surrounded by very busy roads and especially in the morning, the "hum" of all the background noise from cars drives me crazy. I see myself also moving out to the countryside in the future.

Man I wish I only got bothered by some slamming car doors and a few neighbours. I live in a 12 story flat full of junkies, alcoholics, uncivilized maladjusted foreigners, and the elevators and staircases are used as toilets. Often when I get home from work the upstairs dog barks for ours on end, wich is driving me and my own dog mad. But yeah, having your own zen space is rare in the netherlands. Loved this video cheers.

Kim, I have the exact same problem with noisy neighbors. Car doors slamming always bother me. I live in the suburbs of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and it's 50 times worse. I hate my neighbors. All I can think about to quiet down the background noise is to listen to music through my headphones, but my ears hurt after a while. It's super frustrating. I don't understand the need to make everyone aware of your existence by speaking super loudly. I wish those people knew that nobody cares if they are dead or alive, if they exist or not. But oh well, there's nothing that can be done about it. Greetings from Argentina.
I have Aspergers, too, and ADHD. I take Vyvanse, and while it’s helpful for symptoms and focus, I can’t stand the side effects. Especially after a few days of taking it, I start feeling really weird, so I only take it when I really need to focus on something.
Same here! However I am required to take it daily by my group home and psychiatrist. I really do not like it, it's literally a prescribed dependence, I can't get stuff done without it, however without it I can at least relax and sleep in some way. It seems to be the same with all ADHD meds that I've taken, I just spend the entire time being anxious about the rebound effect, it makes me very socially anxious and paranoid when I can't sleep for a couple of days.
i would suggest you getting a torrent for fl studio to edit songs, then you get plugins like amplitube 4, guitar rig 6 (also via torrents so you get all for free). check on youtube some tutorials on how to use everything and it will help a lot for your creativity

Similar story, I am from then Netherlands too and people spit in our elevator and even leave trash in it. No zen space here, its in my head.
