It says that the lord had to command men to practice monogamy OTHERWISE THEY WOULD COMMIT POLYGAMY like the world. We have been praying for the same things? For the Lord to protect Trump and his family and to bless us with a completely fair election. Protect us as he has been protecting Israel so that we can have at least 4 more good years to prepare. It was not written by one person. How does the Lord speak in 132 compared to anywhere else in scripture? Remember, the BOM was not written in chapters and verses. That was done later. Reread my explanation. The BOM was translated 196 years ago. One needs to understand the English of that time. "Shall hearken unto these things" refers to the abominations in verses 27 and 28, which were polygamy and concubines. You must read these verses as they were written. Verse 31 goes on to say "I have seen the sorrow and the heard mourning of the daughters etc" . "Raise up seed" does not mean increase the population. When you raise your child what do you do? You teach them. I will raise up see means to teach them in righteousness. polygamy did NOT increase the population of the church. The census' probe that. As a matter of fact the children born into polygamy were less likely to remain members of the church. The Lord has other ways to increase the population. He doesn't need to break His own commandments or doctrine. The church stagnated until the program of polygamy was stopped. It was never doctrine.

As for having Michelle on again, I shall look forward to that but would you ask her in the kindest way to slow down when she speaks. With my slight hearing loss I could not catch what she was saying, and I think it was mainly because she was so excited about what she was speaking about, but I had to set the playback speed at 0.75. I grew up in Barstow, California, and graduated high school. The Mojave desert is truly desolate. The only thing of beauty I observed were the bright orange poppies that bloomed every spring after the spring rains. It was the members of the Church in the two Wards in Barstow that made my time worthwhile when I lived there. I was blessed with the best teachers when I was in Primary and Young Women (it was called Mutual in those days). I am grateful for these most valiant people who loved me and taught me gospel truths and helped form my testimony and love for the Savior. I have fond memories of those years - not because of that desolate environment (ugh...) - because of the wonderful people who made a difference in my formative years in pointing me to Christ.
Growing up, my parents would take us “wooding”. My dad cut the trees down and us kids had to haul it to the trailer and suburban to take home. That was dang hard work for us little kids and it’s one of the most fondest memories I have of my childhood and dad. It one of the most favorite smells for me, the smell of a chainsaw cutting down a tree. I miss that wood burning stove!

40 years ago I was at the MTC, preparing for a Cantonese speaking mission to Toronto, Ontario. I am from Oklahoma. I was so disappointed in Barry Switzer.
Living in Southern California a bunch of us young adults drove down to San Diego to watch BYU beat Michigan in the Holiday Bowl . Later on they were voted National Champion. Without a playoff system back then they were a lot of doubts on the validity of it. Even living in Southern California I remember picking up KSL on AM radio late at night and listening to Paul James broadcast football and basketball games for BYU.
In 1984 I was 10 years old. I grew up in Springville, Utah just south of Provo, Utah. There is so much I don't remember, but I know that father always watched BYU football and still does. I have gone to BYU football games. I was at the last home football game for LeVale Edwards, and President Hinckley was there to announce the name change of the football stadium. It was cool. The thought that came to mind about 40 years it took the pioneers 40 years to build the Salt Lake Temple. That is something else that you can add to your list.

Do you know why it took the SLC saints 40 years to build the Salt Lake Temple? That would be interesting for you to look at. Check out what other buildings and houses that were started after the Temple and were completed *before* the Temple. Interesting to see.

I can't find any answers, but why is the SL Temple so big? I know it's being rebuilt to survive the great earthquake. But still why is it so big with many floors? And after Christ comes and cleanses the earth, what will the temples be used for?

I have no problem with her ideas on Joseph Smith, and polygamy, but I did not like the way she talked about him. That greatly concerned me! Because no matter what she thinks about the policies that he implemented, he was still called of God as our Prophet. So it seemed like she was talking as if she did not believe them to be a Prophet. So that 10000 is less than 10 days worth. This war is horrific in that reguard. I have heard that 80,000 Ukrainians have been killed and 400000 wounded. Russias killed and wounded is more than 600,000. It needs to end but what is just for Ukraine? What about the members in ukraine or Russia for that matter? If Russia had taken Kiev the temple would most certainly have been destroyed, because that is how Russia takes cities and villages, by destroying every building with artillery. But see this is the only war you hear about mostly. There is the war in Israel. But more important is the growing killing and persection of Christians around the world, and especialy in Africa. I heard the other day that the reason Israel has grown so much from the time of its founding i due to the jews being driven out of their homes. Where do they go? To the U.S. or Israel. Reminds me of the prophesy that basicly says that if you dont want to take up arms with your neighbor, you need to flee to Zion for safety. I dont think it is going to get better until after Armageddon.

Brother Heber talked about, Brigham, Hyrum and many many other talked about it. Many memebers of the church who lived it had many miracles and revelation that it was from god. Members of the high council in Nauvoo who left the church have said that brother joseph did in fact write 132. Emma ripped up copies of the revelation and threw it in Josephs face. Joseph said he could recall and write the revelation from memory. People like to ignore all the parts of history they don't like. Joseph infact told Heber he had to give his ( Heber's ) wife to Joseph as the lord required it. As a test to see if he would really trust him and the Lord and as a Abrahamic test. Heber was devastated came to joseph after a agonizing few days of horrible trials trying to understand how the Lord could require this. He came to Joseph and placed her hand into his and said she is his, and burst into tears. Joseph then burst into tears and said o brother Heber you have passed the test. That night. Heber and his wife received their calling and election made sure. Heber C Kimball was one of the most prophetic men in this church. He was then required by Joseph to take another wife. There are so many first hand experiences from men like him that do talk about polygamy and the prophet that most dont realize, this lady trys to sweep all this away and disregard it all.. You have to disregard all these faithful men and women to believe the blasphemy she is teaching. I am telling you the evidence is overwhelming. He also talks about some of these things in this audio book, but i cant remember which one, but this ins a wonderful lecture series on the prophet i would listen too. Over the last 2 days I’ve scanned her almost 150 videos and some talk about loving LgBt but she is clear that she stands with the family proclamation and also gender being eternal. Also I didn’t see a single reference to her believing that no prophet has been legitimate since Joseph. If you have a reference please list it or else please stop bearing false witness. If she truly has said those things and you aren’t just mixing your own opinions of her into an expansion of what she has said, then I will gladly listen and learn. I am always open to truth.
You're just repeating a false narrative. We live in a day and age where technology is King. It can be good and bad. In this case it's good because it is bringing to light the truth. One day Jesus Christ will return to rule and reign and all the false traditions that have been riddled into the church will be cast off. I can't wait until he comes here and sets it all straight. Because no matter what she thinks about the policies that he implemented, he was still called of God as our Prophet. So it seemed like she was talking as if she did not believe them to be a Prophet. No where did Wilford Woodruff say that it was a false Doctrine. Joseph Fielding Smith was a polygamist. He was a church president long after the Manifesto.

The North Koeans are already in Russia or Ukraine. Reportedly 10,000. However, Russian casualties hover around 1000 - 1300 per day. Lately i heard of a higher amount i think it was 1700. So that 10000 is less than 10 days worth. This war is horrific in that reguard. I have heard that 80,000 Ukrainians have been killed and 400000 wounded. Russias killed and wounded is more than 600,000. It needs to end but what is just for Ukraine? What about the members in ukraine or Russia for that matter? If Russia had taken Kiev the temple would most certainly have been destroyed, because that is how Russia takes cities and villages, by destroying every building with artillery. But see this is the only war you hear about mostly. There is the war in Israel. But more important is the growing killing and persection of Christians around the world, and especialy in Africa. I heard the other day that the reason Israel has grown so much from the time of its founding i due to the jews being driven out of their homes. Where do they go? To the U.S. or Israel. Reminds me of the prophesy that basicly says that if you dont want to take up arms with your neighbor, you need to flee to Zion for safety. I dont think it is going to get better until after Armageddon.
Trying to predict the second coming is a fool’s game. I don’t waste my time on it. If you make a pie chart of the world’s population and the number of members the church claims it’s barely a small line. Lot’s of work yet to do.
I believe lots of that work will happen during the millennium.
@ The millennium will be interesting. I wonder what the world population will get to then with no abortion and better morals. Technology will be far superior and used for good. There will probably need to be a basic living subsidy because so many jobs can be automated. It will free up lots of time to do church stuff.

Love you brother Palmer. But i would not have Michelle back. I have listened to her many times and she is not a faithful member. She does not believe in any prophet after Joseph. She will take people on a slippery slope, to be frank. She is also big on the whole gay acceptance in the church. There is tons of evidence Joseph did practice polygamy. Brother Heber talked about, Brigham, Hyrum and many many other talked about it. Many memebers of the church who lived it had many miracles and revelation that it was from god. Members of the high council in Nauvoo who left the church have said that brother joseph did in fact write 132. Emma ripped up copies of the revelation and threw it in Josephs face. Joseph said he could recall and write the revelation from memory. People like to ignore all the parts of history they don't like. Joseph infact told Heber he had to give his ( Heber's ) wife to Joseph as the lord required it. As a test to see if he would really trust him and the Lord and as a Abrahamic test. Heber was devastated came to joseph after a agonizing few days of horrible trials trying to understand how the Lord could require this. He came to Joseph and placed her hand into his and said she is his, and burst into tears. Joseph then burst into tears and said o brother Heber you have passed the test. That night. Heber and his wife received their calling and election made sure. Heber C Kimball was one of the most prophetic men in this church. He was then required by Joseph to take another wife. There are so many first hand experiences from men like him that do talk about polygamy and the prophet that most dont realize, this lady trys to sweep all this away and disregard it all.. You have to disregard all these faithful men and women to believe the blasphemy she is teaching. I am telling you the evidence is overwhelming. For the reference on Heber read Truman G Madsens book called The prophet joseph smith. He also talks about some of these things in this audio book, but i cant remember which one, but this ins a wonderful lecture series on the prophet i would listen too. Please specify where she has said that. Over the last 2 days I’ve scanned her almost 150 videos and some talk about loving LgBt but she is clear that she stands with the family proclamation and also gender being eternal. Also I didn’t see a single reference to her believing that no prophet has been legitimate since Joseph. If you have a reference please list it or else please stop bearing false witness. If she truly has said those things and you aren’t just mixing your own opinions of her into an expansion of what she has said, then I will gladly listen and learn. I am always open to truth.
You're just repeating a false narrative. We live in a day and age where technology is King. It can be good and bad. In this case it's good because it is bringing to light the truth. One day Jesus Christ will return to rule and reign and all the false traditions that have been riddled into the church will be cast off. I can't wait until he comes here and sets it all straight. Including the false tradition of polygamy. It polluted the church and brought on condemnation from the Lord.
Once a person is shown the fallacies of polygamy in the church, you can't unsee it. You have to wrestle with it and consult heavenly Father.

Are all the brethren from the early days of the church evil adulterers or did emma lie. we all know how emma felt about it, the prophet even said polygamy almost lead to a divorce of their marriage, i am sure she did not use that in her notes either. The lord said by their fruit ye shall know them. So is the church of jesus christ of latter days saints the true church, or is it the community of christ and the new wacko group Doctrine of christ church the true one. To me the answer is clear and the fruits of the gospel are only found in one of those locations
