I was 21 when it came out and I thought that it was the greatest song I’d ever heard. What a great song; it set the tone for all the 1980’s. I already loved Mozart due to my musical upbringing. Then the film « Amadeus » came out and then this song. I was in heaven. Along with the song « 1999 » by Prince and so many other awesome songs, I really miss the 1980’s. I want to go back and live forever in that decade.

People like me loved the drums and vocals bit but put the needle back to the beginning when the actual song started (even though we loved the song). Yeah, I was cool in 5th grade. Your breakdown markers are exactly what I remember most, 1985 almost 40 years ago now? Wow. This breakdown is what I would call... Metal. Works flawlessly with the sampling. So good, has never left my subconscious in all these years. Music is the secret sauce, Thanks Falco and thanks to you for recognizing this elite breakdown. In 1985 this sampling style was mind-blowing. So the class got bored with the sax solo and the middle sections, but when 4:58 hit... It changed life paths for this room full of farm kids and rural America types. I will take the credit, thank you. lol I have Austrian blood, so my duty I suppose.
