Hi! A few things changed between recording these clips and writing the script, so I just wanted to clear those up. The Infinite Spray Can is IV, I was told earlier in the dev stages that it was UHV, and that change/me fixing the script got lost in translation, so I'm very sorry. Steam Machines don't get 16x parallel with tier 2 steel casings; they get double speed with double steam input now. This change was PR'd one day but never mentioned, so I didn't have any idea until people informed me after this video was out. HILE does not force borosilicate glass anymore (and I was informed of this change as I'm literally writing this comment) A few more bugs have been fixed, and some numbers have been changed again since the recording/writing of the script and for the full release, so I apologize if the numbers aren't exactly correct. In general, though, all the new multis are still there, and all the fixes are still very important to GTNH, so I hope that you'll forgive me for getting some information wrong. I will try my hardest to ensure no information is incorrect for the next update video. Thanks for watching
funny enough i think the recent stargate has been the fastest so far, idk the numbers but over like 75% of stargate roles are apperently from 2.6 and on
@@unit0023 thats also very true, but ive seen "alot" of people be faster with their runs aswell, maybe thats just like optimization that comes from so many ppl AverageGregTechPlayer for example is at like 1500 hours i think working on stargate
Just play it and disregard all the clickbait stuff about Stargate and 5000 hour playthroughs and stuff. You can have tons of fun for hundreds of hours without thinking about gate at all. Also if the way the pack is designed in someway doesn't work for you just change it. Mob griefing is completely unfair in gtnh until you unlock a void world, and unless you actively enjoy deathrunning you may as well run keepinventory as well. Both of those are allowed even on gate runs.
@reihanboo Also based if it works for you, you're missing out on some kinda crazy mob drops in the early game though, like pistons can drop from infernals right away and kobolds in twilight forest drop aluminium ingots (unless that got changed in 2.7 it was slightly OP)
For all of the magic enjoyers out there, I made a few changes to how Blood Magic meteors are handled under the hood in the gtnh fork of the mod. I made it so that "filler" blocks and their chances can be customized for each meteor in the meteor configs, and they will work like the filler stone did in the pre-gtnh version of BM: they can be replaced by using incendium/crystallos/tenebrae and are a bit more common when you use (orbis) terrae. Most of the meteors that were written to be pure sources of ore are the same as 2.6, but ones that had filler blocks that made sense now use this new system! You can see which blocks are filler blocks by seeing "Filler block" in the tooltip of a block in the NEI meteor pages. Filler blocks also start on the next row down after the ores. The estimated block yields in NEI were also significantly lower than the actual yields. I fixed the estimate function to give a better idea of how much you will actually get.
@@AdityaVG13 Glad to see that you like it! I'm planning on making the reagents configurable so that the pack can do some cool things with that, like having custom block lists to replace the filler with like incendium/crystallos/tenebrae do, making it more difficult to automate but give better yield, or requiring certain reagents for certain ores to appear. I also plan to add NEI pages for the reagents to make these effects more discoverable. This will definitely not be done for 2.7 since it's so close to release, but keep a look out for it.
@@koolkrafter5Interesting stuff, you modpack creators are just as talented as the people making the mods. Blood Magic always seemed a little over the top once you got the hang of it, with multiple modpack playthrough with my friends where one of them would end up with Living Armor with 70 HP while I was making like the Dark Armor from EnderIO or something.

Some other changes not mentioned include multiple quest page reconfigurations (mass processing tab replacing GT++ for parallel multi progression, novice thaumaturgy having adjusted quests & new quests, full quest pages for voltage tiers up to UMV), new trophies for old stargate requirements, and category collapse within NEI to reduce clutter.

The new player experience if anything has gotten better, not worse. They've been iterating on the questbook and UI stuff for a decade at this point and there are countless small improvements in there to smooth out the most common stumbling points. There's a discord server chock full of people who will be happy to help you out, but if you read every quest, there's very little to the experience that isn't thoroughly documented.
As a new player, the quest book is incredibly user friendly and helpful. You'll never not know what to focus on next. As you progress, you may find that you need to fill in the blanks more. For instance, you may need to automate a resource you've been generating manually before that next quest is feasible.
I'd like Stargate to be more useful for the minority of players that actually reach it. Do I understand correctly that currently it works just as a teleporter? @@kennymiller5837 Awsome! I'd definitely agree, the food system is often out of place. I'd understand it in a modpack like RL craft... but it just doesn't really belong in tech packs IMO. The blood moons would probably be less brutal with the food system being gone, and they're a part of thaumcraft I think, so it's not really something they could take out.

@josiahsimmons9866 ahhhh I knew that there were bloodmoons in all the mods 9, so I thought it was it's own selerate mod. I'm sure they're configurable tho, if they're a part of thaumcraft
@@kennymiller5837 I looked it up, I think I'm wrong and it's a separate mod, my bad. TBH, I think it's a fun concept, but only if like... they only start happening after 30 days in world, with them happening once a month. Then it's a survival challenge to prepare for.
Umh acuttly its file size increased by 9mb less then the change from 2.5.1 to 2.6.0
all jokes aside S tier update thank you my toaster is much happy
Haha I'm glad the toaster is fixed too!
I think multiblocks are gettijg out of hand with their size...
Some big MBs are cool but I still want to build a nice baee and compact design.
But i will probably never reach this stages in the game so hahaha :)
3:06 best fix
I wonder how this'll affect Neurotic Goose?
cherry wood fence recipe is still not fixed after so many years lmao
Holy fuck it's still going OMG I haven't heard of it in so long
Back in the days I thought this pack sounded like a perfect one to try out 'cause it seemed to contain my favorite mods
Fortunately my shitty PC couldn't handle and so I never actually touched it which frankly might have saved me a few years of my life ☠☠☠☠
GOAT!!!
Oh cool our whole base is fucked up now ):
I have a business to attend to, I really shouldn't be playing frickin' minecraft... but I want to, so bady.
I would love to do this if it werent for the mob mods >.<
Water creepers existence and silverfish phobia makes this not a great option. I gotta stick with nomifactory with logistics pipes added.
Yes I also hate infernal mobs, they suck!
The gorge... what... this? in minecraft? wow
Watching this as if im ever going to get past Steam...
You got this! I believe in you!
So these multis seem kinda weak for their cost - what am I missing here? +50% over a singleblock but I could just build two singleblocks?
38 MULTIBLOCKS!?
im gregging out rn
What AI voice did you use? it sounds pretty good
That's my real voice! Im not AI (i hope)
@@AdityaVG13until we are all ai in a simulation
Will this be save game compatible? I kinda wish to keep my hundred hours "starter" base XD
Yes! You can update safely. I recommend always keeping a backup of your world as well!
Wait. It's not urt released even though it is already release date
It should be coming out soon! Stay tuned to the GTNH Discord for updates!
@@AdityaVG13 It finally happened! (And download servers are overloaded to the point discord recommends using dropbox)
It might be time to return
Dashin gatefinity arc??
doubt it but I wanna try out the new early-midgame stuff at least
Can i get this modpack on sklaucher?
because there, have gtnh, but i dont know if are in this 2.7 version
My PC was already struggling launching the game because of ram but this is already worse lmao
I guess i really need to upgrade my ram
Damn!
can't wait for the toaster fix, literally made the game unplayable
Guess I have to put off playing it another 10 months for bug fixes and whatnot
