There are fry up breakfasts & there are fry up breakfasts. This breakfast is absolutely off the charts.
I visited here with The MacMaster back in the summer and just had to come back to film it for myself to share this amazing place. By the way, I will probably return for something from the lunchtime menu.
In my opinion - the best fry up in London

I already liked your breakfast Darren Beans on a plate and not in a silly wee bowl. Sausages looked mighty fine but the hero of any Brekkie is Bacon and that looked like an after thought and meagre.......Commodores music for a metal head like me is not my fav but ok. Metallica sounds would not really fit in with your vlogs hahahahaha.

We went there when we visited London last month, had Sausage and Bacon on toast it was excellent and Nev was giving us all the banter and gave us good directions to Spittafields Market from there, will definitely go there next time we visit London 👍

Oh man. What a feast. Got to be the tomatoes with the fried bread for me.
Visited again the other day... Got turned away when I first arrived.. as it was jam packed... Went for a pint, come back, and had a wueing system...quality!! Decided to have chicken pie chips and beans... Wow!! Absolute quality... The chips are lime the chips you used to get out a chippy years ago... That's a compliment by the way .. sure they are done in dripping... The service is quality.. work so so hard.. and no matter how busy, they always take time to have a laugh with you, and Nev remembered me from my last visit... That's such a small thing, but massive impact.. 5 minute walk from bethnal green station or about 15 from whitechapel

Worth it for the venue alone. The interior looks like a working man's Pullman coach. There's nowt like that up here, where it's cold and we wear our big coats in August..

🤣🤣 I did exactly the same... Had a breakfast back of 9 in the morning .. had a snack at 11pm... Calories for the day in one meal, definitely worth it

Been there a few times over the years. Normally around 8am ish on my way to work. That time of day it was always packed.
Later in the day it attracts tourists too because of its good reputation.

Went here last week ordered the full monty breakfast wow it was so mooooriish bit expensive but hey I had it about 2pm and I never had to have no more to eat all day so in hindsight it was great value fry ups don’t come no better then this awesome can’t wait to go again

Looks delicious!! I lived in Befnall Green when I was born then moved to Orpington. When I was 10 we moved back to The East End - Poplar. I lived there until I was 39, now I’m in Essex. I miss how The East End used to be, the best people you can wish to meet. Most of the people in my street moved out. Things change and it’s such a shame.

I was thinking to myself. What cafe is he gonna go ? Then as soon as I saw it I was tut of course… Guvna cafe if you can get a table. I’m an east end boy and used to work down the Roman Rd so was always nipping in there. That place is an institution 👍🏼 they even gave you a piece of dockers wedding cake for a take away. Tells you all you need to know about the gaff. Top choice fella.

Just got back from shopping trip. Two bottles Creed purchased! I noticed you don’t have “Irish Tweed” you should try it if you haven’t already gets great compliments. ( from both males and females😂) Been wearing that one for about 5 years but have added a bottle of “Aventus” today.

now that looks like a good cafe to visit Darren When i was a kid and my family moved over from Ireland most cafes were run by Italians and they took pride in the food unlike most of the Cafes in London now

Traditional cafes like this are steeped in character and atmosphere that no fast food chain could ever aspire to!!! I used to visit an “early morning” Italian cafe in the basement of an old building in the centre of City of Manchester back in the ‘70s. All that steam from the coffee machine and food smells to die for!

Great breakfast and nice they gave you some free chips but I normally like my chips cooked, they looked undercooked.

This just took me back to 1978,
when i lived in jersey we had a greasy spoon cafe called The Sanctuary Cafe ran by a couple and it was 'off the charts'.
Its just so cool to be reminded of those heady days, the fried bread was to die for much as the same in DJ's latest Vlog.
This fella never fails to please with the splash of Creed to the fantastic filming editing and superlative package which makes every one a pleasure to watch..
