Covalent Bond You can learn it by specializations for inquisitor quest(Assasin) later on. Btw Thousand cuts with 3th focus + deathmark game breaking pretty much lol. I found that assasins weak early game but it's pretty OP late game especially on dragons. If you want more hardcore boss fights, don't use an assasin lol.
Sneak Attack does not increase your crit chance by 84% making it 126%. It doubles your crit chance. You had 42%. If you flank, it will be 84%. If your crit chance was 6%, it would change to 12%.
Watching this vid now 2 years later. Just remembering having so much fun with this game and watching all your vids about it.. I need to play it again I don"t remember all of it.
My first complete play through was an Assassin dual wielder. Being the Inquisitor I made sure to give myself good gear (I dont focus on my party as much as I should) so I had I thing the Red Rebirth schematic daggers from the black emporium, and with that passive in the assassin tree allowing me to crit out of all stealths was just amazing.
My first thought was, god damnit a 20 minute video. Your in depth explanations blew my mind and had no problem following you. Very well done sir, I don't subscribe much but damn, how can I not.
I really did not have high expectations for this video, I thought since it was 20 minutes long, I would listen to someone poorly ramble about the uses and functions of each skill that was needed, but I got a very detailed and clear explanation all the way. Thank you Kinetic, you now have one more subscriber :)
I love how in-depth you go with each class! It feels like you're very passionate about what you do. Thank you! i'm on my 2nd playthrough as dual-wield rogue, and it's helping me a lot!
Recently picked the game back up and felt like messing with each of the companions as i normally just play the the inquisitor. This was a tonne of help
Wanted to say thank you for all your awesome build vids. I've enjoyed them a lot and have definitely used them as a base for my own playthrough. Keep up the great work.
your video is extremly helpfull.... im glad u showed us how to use the skills not just where to spend our points... u explained things easierly so that i could understand them... thank u for the video
i decided to main a rouge dual blade but i decided to add throwing blades for more utility and boy is it fun. your build is awesome. thanks. Best Party is Sera, Blackwall, Dorian. Change my mind
I'm so glad I came across your channel! Your Dragon Age: Inquisition guides are extremely helpful, and your in-depth explanations make them easy to follow. Thank you so much for putting these videos up! You just earned yourself a new subscriber. :)
Great video.I always play rogue because I like dps classes.Going through 2nd playthrough as Ke but can't take it anymore so gonna reroll this.My 1st was tempest archer.A little trick I used to do thought I should share,to use full extent of some skills like leap(300%) damage bonus and shadowstrike with stealth I do like this.Leap in from of enemy and then go invisible(yeah in between fight not from the start to avoid aggro) and use shadow strike.Just calculate %dps output you will be amaze how much dps it can generate with your tips :D.
Kinetic if you"re here to read this comment ,Do Assassin Archery when you"re done with Rift Mage & Champion . The Highest damage potential ingame is definitely Assassin Archer followed by Reaver ,I ain"t lying when I did *14000/14k*!!!! with a Single Crit shot on a Despair demon
Assassin is the most fun class to play. It works well with both Rogue classes, Melee or Ranged. It is fun to solo this. And a bit more challenging, thus more fun, than an Enchanter.
I quit the game with 100hrs played as dual dagger assassin. Combat seemed clunky and boring. This guide brought me back and now I'm loving it on nightmare difficultly :)
It his game is all build around The rolling of the chests. In order for you to obtain these chest and collect the better loot you need to collect money and rank/prestige your characters. The game, for most people, is going to be having the highest ranked gear and the upgrades to match. Perilous is going to be the main matchmaking game to earn you big money. This is where you really need to be a team player. Skills are also going to be a big part along with the perks you have. They should be the top priority when it comes to leveling, simply because it's pointless to have a lot of perks with nothing to back them up. I say this because your perks are your choice they depend on the weapon and upgrades to your armor, as well as the accessories you have equipped. I'm not saying these are the best classes, but these are a good start if you haven't played the character yet. Here's a general glance at the top Builds for each of the classes in multiplayer: Mages: Arcane Warrior - Fade Step/Frost Step, Pull of the Abyss, Stone Fist, Spirit Blade Elementalist - Immolate, Fire Storm, Frost Step/Stone Fist, Barrier Keeper - Fade Step/Frost Step, Barrier, Despell, Disruption Field/Static Cage Necromancer - Energy Borage/Ice Mine, Blizzard, Walking Bomb, Frost Step/Horror Rouges: Alchemist - Shadow Strike, Flask of Fire/Flask of Frost, Elemental Mines/Flank Attack, Stealth. Archer - Long Shot, Mark of Death, Leaping Shot, Fallback Plan/Evade. Assassin - Flank Attack/Evade, Shadow Strike, Hidden Blades, Stealth. Hunter - Elemental Mines/Toxic Cloud, Spike Trap, Leaping Shot, Fallback Plan/Stealth Warriors: Legionnaire - Unbowed, War Cry/To the Death, Walking Fortress, Shield Wall Katari - Mighty Blow/Earthshaking Strike, Whirlwind, To the Death, Charging Bull Reaver - Devour, Rampage/War Horn, Ring of Pain, Dragon Rage Templar - Line in the Sand/Payback Strike/Spell Purge, Wrath of Heaven, Unbowed/Horn Of Valor, Shied Wall
Very informative and we'll thought out. Easy to follow. :D I think I'll restart and make my PC a Dual Dagger Rogue Assassin. For some reason, I just have a hard time actively controlling anyone but my PC, so I'll have to make him the stealthy mofo this time haha
I just crafted 2 dual blade daggers which combined does more dos than the rest of my party combined. 371 dps each. Best way is just to have a tank taunt your enemies then take out all archers before flank attack into a group of ppl and use spinning blades. Fights end in no time.
Trying to decide which specialization to go but I'm a little torn... What are your opinions on Dual Dagger Assassin and Dual Dagger Tempest? Is the Tempest specialization still strong without abusing the Flask of Fire w/ Thousand Cuts? I feel like Tempest would be more fun, but the Assassin looks like it does a lot more damage.
Was there a balance change patch? My shadow strike quick blade states 200% damage and no cool down reduction. Trying to find patch notes with this in it but coming up empty handed
Just picked up the game and found your Video. Very well done. Awesome explanations. Unfortunately Shadowstrike's Upgrade Quick Blade got nerfed/changed. And I was wondering why I didn't get my stamina back and why no reduced CD's ;)
I am only just playing this. I chose Rogue, using a bow. The trouble is the dwarf is a Rogue and Mages are ranged too, and the first extra character I recruited was a Rogue. I did notice that Varric (dwarf) had far more attack damage with 2 daggers than with his default crossbow - yet dialogue was still talking about his crossbow even though he wasn't using it. I am still using a bow - I'd be worried I'd die instantly if I got in melee dagger range. I will see.
In the same time you can craft an armor with a fade touched material with the 10% chance of 5secret blades perk. It's funny to see it trigger on Twin Fangs and turn it to a hidden blades lookalike. I'm sad i already finished the game with that build, it was the funniest i've played for now
I didn't use deathblow because since I'm going to be critting every single time I figured my 2 points would be better spent somewhere else. I took throwing blades instead so I can react to mobs attacking my mage/rogue party members faster and since it's a four hit skill, that's +40 stamina +50 per kill if any. Forgot what the passive was before throwing blades but deathblow has a habit of eating stamina, basically you actually lose 100stamina because of the second hit. Interesting build but I didn't take deathblow because I didn't need/want the passive before.
I would like to see a decent Necromancer build, I know it's probably the one of the weakest specializations in the game but I keep expecting to see someone really make it work.
Nah, it is not one of the weakest specs at all, it is just a spec that takes more levels (and skill points) to shine, differently from KE or Rift. Then you must also understand to which route you want to go (nuking or summoning) because you cannot have a really powerful build (at last until late game) with both. An hint: static cage is a must with a nuking build.
I'm shocked that you didn't take easy to miss. Some mobs have the ability to see thru stealth I figured that would be a mandatory passive to take. That Evade ability seems really slow as well. Does it have any invincibility frames at all because if it is purely a positioning move...well maybe there might be some use for it but I still don't like it. Thanks for doing this guide since alot of people seem to really be on the fence about dw assassins. We all know what they can do but the micromanagement turns some people off. I know an archer can put out some high numbers too but I personally hate fighting long range. It is much more satisfying to be in melee range with my warriors. Also I want to vote for Champion next. Us tanks need some love too.
Helpful video thank you! Quick question- it sounds like using Mark of Death > Hidden Blades is a really effective combo. Is that correct? Do the hits from HB count towards MoD?
Awsome dps build. I do so much damage that i'm wondering if i shoud switch my Assassin archer Cole for a mage (i use Vivienne with your support templar build and it would be Rift Solas and Pyromancer Dorian with me and the tank)
The damage for your Twin fangs and shadow strike was off. Normally Shadow strike is 400 base damage and twin fangs is 200. You were probably using enhanced ability rings for the two skills, which adds +33% to them
Man...
You made me restart the game with a rogue main.
Best avatar for that comment.

@@SeekGrace Wouldn't mark of death be useful against boss fights too tho?
Sneak Attack does not increase your crit chance by 84% making it 126%. It doubles your crit chance. You had 42%. If you flank, it will be 84%. If your crit chance was 6%, it would change to 12%.
He said he had 42% and when it take that talent he has now 84% chance to crit from behind. The way he say it could easly sound what you point out.
thanks white person with a black person's name

Awesome! Thanks for the feedback!
the music is so goddamn good in this game
gazeroth yestbhh
Thank you! This opened my eyes to which order to use the attacks, now that I'm playing DAI again after a long time.
I really did not have high expectations for this video, I thought since it was 20 minutes long, I would listen to someone poorly ramble about the uses and functions of each skill that was needed, but I got a very detailed and clear explanation all the way. Thank you! i'm on my 2nd playthrough as dual-wield rogue, and it's helping me a lot!
Building for crit chance seems really strong for pretty much anything but a warrior tank.
The best rogue guide for DAI I've seen
i come watch your build videos every time i go to play inquisition again, and with 2 days before veilguard just know i came right back lmao
Mark of death + Static cage + thousand cuts + (stealth & activate mark) = INSTANT DRAGON KILL :)
Recently picked the game back up and felt like messing with each of the companions as i normally just play the the inquisitor. This was a tonne of help
Your tutorials cannot get any more detailed than this! Thanks!
Damn, this class and build look really fun to play. It's pretty tactical, and there's so much "oomph" to all the animations. Loved it.
Watching this aviation in 2021 with all the dlcs, these videos are still amazing.
Wanted to say thank you for all your awesome build vids. I've enjoyed them a lot and have definitely used them as a base for my own playthrough. Keep up the great work.
I know this video is old but I came back to this game. And this is by far my favorite build thanks KineticGTR
Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it. Enjoy the game!
your video is extremly helpfull.... im glad u showed us how to use the skills not just where to spend our points... u explained things easierly so that i could understand them... thank u for the video
oh and a video on weapons and armor for the assassin would be extremely helpful also
i decided to main a rouge dual blade but i decided to add throwing blades for more utility and boy is it fun. your build is awesome. thanks.
Best Party is Sera, Blackwall, Dorian. Change my mind
I can't wait to try all of your strategies. This was by far the best guide I've ever seen. Thank you so much.
I'm so glad I came across your channel! Your Dragon Age: Inquisition guides are extremely helpful, and your in-depth explanations make them easy to follow. Thank you so much for putting these videos up! You just earned yourself a new subscriber. :)

Man...I just logged off after creating a rogue inquisitor and I just know I'm gonna start the game right after my sleep.

Late comer to this game, just bought it this week lol.
Great presentation man. Was super helpful, thanks!
Best class! Most DPS and fun.
14:55 OMG almost 25k DMG critical hit :o
Dude, thanks a bunch! this video cleared a lot of my doubts on my rogue, I'm fairly early on my game, level 12
Thank you, you've made Cole so much more effective!
I came to my Dual Dagger Assassin like the Virgin to a child. This Vid really helped me!
This is the most helping guide, thank you
This was unbelievably helpful, thank you so much.
i could watch your build videos all day...oh wait, i just did.
lol I hope it was worth it. Thanks for watching! ^_^
So much FPS, I had to upgrade my monitor to 70hz
Rift Mage would be awesome to see if you could. Loving your videos keep up the good work!
Assassin Archer
Plz
Thanks bro. Good verbal presentation, amazing video presentation. I'll try this build for my inquisitor :)
You sound like Patrick Bateman in American Psycho... Patrick Bateman is telling me how to up my game! Your awesome!
Assassin is definitely what I'm gonna be. I saw a hit for 25,000 that's is insane. Thanks for the vid, it helped a lot.
I'm pretty sure the hit was from the triggered mark of death :P
12:35 that "eh HEH" got me dead😂💀
Thank you so much for making this build. I adore Cole to death, but could never take him anywhere because he kept dying all the time. Now, I can! :D
Next Video - Ultimate Tank Champion Warrior Guide! ua-cam.com/video/rFfEbPfjxa0/v-deo.html
I still love this game hehehe, nice vid bro. I came back to unlock all trophyies and I saw ur vid again so... Thanks a lot
What do u think it would be the better to use after all those perks?
Which Class Specialization do you want to see next?
Dual Dagger + sera abilities
because its too late for me to change to assassin :(
an alchemy rogue
I would like to see an archer, tempest.
The fire flask with upgrade seems really broken to me :)
Rift mage! I want to see what's all the fuss about :P
I wanna see warrior specialization Champion :)
I'm reworking my assassin rogue in the morning. My thanks
thank you thank you thank you, im playing nightmare and this build is awsome, liked and subscribed
15:08 am I the only one who saw the 24000 damage hit
It's so cute to see a 24K mark of death. Reminds me of level fourteen.
I'm starting to get my head around this now, good video :D
theres an item that you can put on daggers where basic attacks trigger hidden blades so that stacked on top of your hidden blades is OP
i havent even got the game yet and really enjoying these good job bro :)
Great video mate!:)
Can you please put also description of this assassin rogue armor, weapon and accessories?
Thanks in advance
I quit the game with 100hrs played as dual dagger assassin. Combat seemed clunky and boring. This guide brought me back and now I'm loving it on nightmare difficultly :)

Necromancer - Energy Borage/Ice Mine, Blizzard, Walking Bomb, Frost Step/Horror
Rouges:
Alchemist - Shadow Strike, Flask of Fire/Flask of Frost, Elemental Mines/Flank Attack, Stealth.
Archer - Long Shot, Mark of
Death, Leaping Shot, Fallback Plan/Evade.
Assassin - Flank Attack/Evade, Shadow Strike, Hidden Blades, Stealth.
Hunter - Elemental Mines/Toxic Cloud, Spike Trap, Leaping Shot, Fallback Plan/Stealth
Warriors:
Legionnaire - Unbowed, War Cry/To the Death, Walking Fortress, Shield Wall
Katari - Mighty Blow/Earthshaking Strike, Whirlwind, To the Death, Charging Bull
Reaver - Devour, Rampage/War Horn, Ring of Pain, Dragon Rage
Templar - Line in the Sand/Payback Strike/Spell Purge, Wrath of Heaven, Unbowed/Horn Of Valor, Shied Wall
Multiplayer is a silly minigame. It's just a way to spend some time, not the real game. The game per se is the single player campaign.
Criticism nothing. Man. Awesome video.
A rift Mage would be great. All the weakness stuff seems pretty cool to use together.
really want to see how u put your them together through out the entire gameplay
I had to stop and check this a few times before I believed what I saw, but at 14:52 he does 24 thousand damage! :O
Thanks for the video. Great info and very well presented 😊🎮👍
Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it :)
No problems and I am loving double daggers build 😊
This build is crazy
Very informative and we'll thought out. Easy to follow. :D I think I'll restart and make my PC a Dual Dagger Rogue Assassin.
For some reason, I just have a hard time actively controlling anyone but my PC, so I'll have to make him the stealthy mofo this time haha
I have a masterwork that has a 10% chance to activate hidden blade, really good.
Awesome guide. Been looking for something like this. Subbed.
I just crafted 2 dual blade daggers which combined does more dos than the rest of my party combined. 371 dps each. Best way is just to have a tank taunt your enemies then take out all archers before flank attack into a group of ppl and use spinning blades. Fights end in no time.

Can you do a video on the class specializations like, templar, reaver, assassin, etc. And talk about what playstyles they should be used for?
Carn't wait to try this build out. :)
Just picked up the game and found your Video. Very well done. Awesome explanations.
Unfortunately Shadowstrike's Upgrade Quick Blade got nerfed/changed. And I was wondering why I didn't get my stamina back and why no reduced CD's ;)
Great video.

Make sure to save Fade Obsidian for your two daggers (the highest dps schematic) to have +3 guard each time you strike
In the same time you can craft an armor with a fade touched material with the 10% chance of 5secret blades perk.
It's funny to see it trigger on Twin Fangs and turn it to a hidden blades lookalike.
I'm sad i already finished the game with that build, it was the funniest i've played for now
Two fade touched materials don't stack affects and also fade touched silverite does +5 guard
+Wolf Samuraiz sure? because it's two weapons that you use so a skill like twin fangs should trigger +5 guard x2
Love the vids man. The search for Synergy!
Quick Blade doesn't seem to support cooldown anymore.
This has to be the most powerful and broken character imo in this entire game
Thanks :) Cloak everytime check!
I didn't use deathblow because since I'm going to be critting every single time I figured my 2 points would be better spent somewhere else. I'm working on one now actually
Check your gear for things related to Twin Fangs, and Sneak Attack. My stats on TF are only 200%, where as my SA only gives a 10% crit hit chance.
Do a video on what class is just dam fun to play. Though, I'm already 30 hours into the game, no restart for me. :)
Which skills are priority if just starting the game? You listed so many^^
Man I been watching this video not even realizing it was from 8y ago lol I was thinking man eyes the second abilities
He should make a video of him and his top 3 builds fight a high level dragon
What 3 builds would you like to see me use?
Reaver 2 handed, tempest archer, rift mage, and assassin dual wield please :D
Actually instead of assasin do champion weapon and shield
Helpful video thank you!
Quick question- it sounds like using Mark of Death > Hidden Blades is a really effective combo. Is that correct? Do the hits from HB count towards MoD?
I really want to see Rift Mage, it seems OP.
Could you possibly list your recommended order of the abilities you've suggested? Thanks.
tyvm dude. love your videos :D

Awsome dps build. I do so much damage that i'm wondering if i shoud switch my Assassin archer Cole for a mage (i use Vivienne with your support templar build and it would be Rift Solas and Pyromancer Dorian with me and the tank)
I like your dragon age builds. Keep it up also do u have a build for iron bull?
Andy Rodriguez it is blood reaver warrior
Re-doing my points tonight!
No better feeling than using upgraded hidden blades while stealth + flanking. With all the passives, damage is ridiculous.
Gear is really the icing on the cake with this class. Dual red blades of birth, and i am absolutely annihilating dragons far above my level.
Shadow strike is not auto criting out of stealh and it is no removing the CD on kill. Not sure if the patch caused this
The damage for your Twin fangs and shadow strike was off. Normally Shadow strike is 400 base damage and twin fangs is 200. You were probably using enhanced ability rings for the two skills, which adds +33% to them
finally XD
THANKS dude
What was the clothes like when you got that ability
