    Buen hecho Brik! I was born in Puerto Rico and visit every few years. I was unaware of the growing popularity and interest of Rio Piedras, nice to know. I'm a new subscriber, continued success of your channel. Saludos Roberto

      Wepa! Thank you so much for subscribing, Roberto! I'd say that Rio Piedra's commercial growth in recent years has been thanks to the student community from the UPR. 🇵🇷🙌🏼

    Love your videos my friend. Thank you so much for your tips. My Airbnb is booked and will be heading to Puerto Rico next May 2023. Unfortunately it is in Condado which according to you they are not best beaches. 😕 But I am looking forward to exploring the island and visiting all the locations you recommended.

      Hey Juan! Thank you so much for the comment! Don’t worry! You’ll still have a great time! There are some nice beaches near condado, but they can be dangerous. I should do a video about the best beaches in San Juan to point people in the right direction. Try going to the beaches near the condado lagoon and the Puente Dos Hermanos. Those are chill and beautiful. My favorites in the area. Hope it helps!

    Hey Brik, thanks for the great and informative videos of Puerto Rico. I'm staying at the margaritaville club for a week in April. What are your thoughts and suggestions on this resort
    If you have a separate video, please let me know Thanks and keep up the awesome work!

    • @BriksTravelGuides
      @BriksTravelGuides  2 роки тому +1

      Hey John! Thank you so much for your comment and the support! I had to look up Margaritaville Club because I wasn't familiar with it, but it seems it is located inside the Rio Mar Beach Resort in Rio Grande, which I have visited in the past. This is a great area with nice beaches and is extremely close to El Yunque. If you came here to relax, you probably picked the right spot. It's about a 45 to an hour drive away from Old San Juan and the normal touristy areas. Hope that helps! 😄🙌🏼🇵🇷

    I am glad you put Rio Piedras on the list I live not too far from the market there. I think it's reputation of being dangerous is a bit exaggerated.

    • @BriksTravelGuides
      @BriksTravelGuides  Рік тому +1

      Hey! Rio Piedras is definitely a unique place with a lot of cultural flavor to it. I would maybe not consider it dangerous for students and for people who know where to go and not to go, specifically at night, but it could be for tourist and people who don’t.

      Hey! I have not yet, but I do want to cover our taino heritage more on my videos. I was planning a great video for the end of the year, but given the current circumstances after the hurricane, we’ll see if it can come out this year.
