I'm sorry to say, but my experience with Pinokio does not leave me very impressed at all! All I wanted to do was download and install tts2, and I was completely unable to get any help on that whatsoever. Not to mention that the oobabooga script was outdated as well. Overall, I've decided to remove pinokio from my computer, because the frustration it causes just isn't worth it. And it really looked like such a promising idea!
I was looking for a way to make content for youtube using my desktop pc, Intel I5-12600k, 128gb ram nvidia GTX 1080 8gb and a kingston 500gb nvme ssd. yea I know a 1080 LOL but its what I have, for now I am not willing to spend the cash for a 40 series card even more so when the 5 series cards are going to drop in the new years, maybe then I can afford a 4090 card but time will tell. for now its enough to play around with and test the various LLMs in a user friendly manner without having to make a linux based VM or muck around the powershell on windows. either way I wanted to give a thank you for suggesting this program. it saves me teh headaches of mucking about the command line and trying to install things without breakign things, not to mention the costs of the various subscription fees for teh various cloud based LLM's. Keep up the great work... The more we know... Reading rainbow style ;)
I have to say installing this is a huge mistake. Filled up the hard drive with stuff that doesn't work, and the uninstall leaves everything behind in the user folder.
Where did you find this magic version of Pinokio that allows you to update apps? The version downloaded from the link (1.2) has obsolete scripts which have no way to be updated. For example, XTTS is the more or less useless version 1.
@@3ky3ky The issue I was having before was when I installed one AI package, it worked. But when I installed another, then one of them stopped working. I think it was overwriting the the correct app versions. Python version etc. But when I came across Pinokio, I could install everything and they all work at the same time. There are two negatives with doing it this way. 1) It takes a lot more disk space. I guess there's a 3rd issue doing it through pinokio, that is all the new things are not available.
most of the things on pinokio does not work. I have installed 5 so far and only one works. with the relatively massive amount of time the installs take its not really worth the effort.
I can’t install fooocus. It has me download multiple apps and tells me to look for an admin permission but I can’t find it:(. Pinokio doesn’t work for me. I can browse the different apps but I can’t download all those files:(:(:(:(:(:(
gives a "conda value error" and apparently needs something called "classic" running in the background. i have no idea what this means but if anyone knows, this should in theory fix the self installing apps. At this point I feel like this is just as easy as installing automatic 1111 the original complicated way
My pcm text to image generation app always says error and i wont see the image generated I have a mac and all pinokio installation up to date Please help
Doesn't work for me at all 3060 RTX Laptop Nothing works - tried facefusion and got C:\Users\johnc\pinokio\bin\miniconda\python.exe: can't open file 'C:\\Users\\johnc\\pinokio\\api\\facefusion-pinokio.git\\facefusion\ un.py': [Errno 2] No such file or directory
you have two facefusion folders and you are probably pointing to the first facefusion folder and not the one nested in pinokio.git which is nested in the first facefusion folder. or its in the first folder and you are pointing at the second. have you tracked down "run.py" yourself
I am interested in fooocus ai. I have it downloaded locally on my machine but often times my computer overheats when I select quality render setting:(. Does pinokio make it work easier???
That is only usually the case when a corporation provides you something for free. These are free because they are open source community projects. Including the platform that installs them. And because they are open source, anyone with half a clue of code can look inside and see clearly what a given open source app is doing which makes it hard to get away with things like data harvesting, ,malware, etc,
how you do model management checkpoints, clipvision etc. for A1111 and comfyui ? Would you please create video on it because all files are taking too much space I am not very familiar with comfyui? However I already know that comfy manage it by itsself in drives folder but would you please 2 make a video to help us who are beginner? 👍👍👍
it would be much better if someone can explain how to make any git repository run in pinokio rather than showing the same stuff that everyone shows. also, the face fusion running in pinokio is not UNLEASHED.

@francofx like it would stop generating in browser or get frozen nothing like that inside pinokio

how do you remove nsfw filter in facefusion

is like 60gb of what it downloads and straight to local C that you can't change. Otherwise it's great
can someone upload pre installed pinokio with facefusion installed
in your app the background is dark, but in mine it is white and I can't see anything whyyyyy
when u're installing you need to select the dark mode UI
