All the online or cloud based ones are actually a free trial since they can (WILL) at any time change the EULA. Only on-premises installable apps are actually free.
Re the first Open Source tool, what I'm looking for is a tool where I can take a snippet of film where the subject is doing the motion I want (driving video) and then I tell the tool, "Make my character do that!" I tried for days to just get my character to go down on one knee and gently shake a dog's paw.. It would have been so easy to just show the tool the movement I wanted and let it copy. I have a powerful computer, so is it worth it to download replicate when I may want whole body shots?

Pika doesn't include lip sync in free version :( I was hoping to test it with my music audio. I'm looking for more control over my music videos. Things like consistent characters and lip syncs. I saw another youtuber reviewing "Scenario" which might help with character consistency. (I haven't checked it out yet) After watching this video, I was hoping pika art would help with lip syncing, but without being able to test it, I may keep looking for other options for now. Let me know if you are aware of any. I do use Pixelverse to create short clips. Some of them get a little "iffy", but often you can trim it to just utilize the "clean" parts. Maybe Replicate can be utilized to "lip sync". I was hoping to create character in pixelverse in a scenario, and then introduce the lip syncing in it. I might have to check out Krea as I think it's time lapse aging might be good for a song about memories. Thanks for the AI suggestions and all their details.

With a low paying plan it would be hard to do more than one vid per week. Although I’m thinking there’s a few low/no pay ones but not many. I wonder how oversaturated Al if this will get.

When I go the Replicate's LivePortrait page, the buttons to choose photos and videos are un-clickable and I get a dialog box saying I need to "Add a payment method to run this model". And at 2:18, it appears you've already registered with Replicate and (I can only assume) chosen a payment method, because it says "To see how much you've spent, go to your dashboard". So how is this free?

Two things. You have two "Krea" sections and you misspelled them both (as "Korea" and then "Crea"). Also, Krea is a "morph" video service. It's for morphing one image into the next or creating odd "transitions". They aren't for generating video footage.
Will any of these free tools let me use them without having to submit my precious email address? I don't know these companies, and I hate the idea of them having my email address forever, just to try something I might not even like after 20 seconds of use.

invideo can make like 10 minutes...but only once a week for free. every other tool there is very limited unless paying

It is open source and you can set up and run it on your computer. If you want to run it on other's computers you gotta pay.
