Dumpster Diving

This is a short animation I made for my character animation class. It's the first short film I've made where absolutely everything in it is copyrighted by me.

This was the first animation I had ever fully completed before, so it has some flaws, but I'm pretty happy with it overall. If I were to change anything I would probably darken the lines. The animations are pencil sketches and I used photoshop color. After Effects was used for the compositing.

Your backgrounds are really nice, your charachters are a little to 2-D. But way better than anything I've ever done. What software are you using?

This was awesome! The art and design was excellent and the sound effects in particular nicely matched the actions. The only thing I didn't like was when the dumpster-diver scarred the cat. that made me sad. :( lol
