I thought the 6 meant something was wrong cause pages don't load for me now

Connecting to WiFi 6 doesn't mean you get fast internet, its mean you have stable connection with router.
For those saying "I can't access the WiFi 6 connection," first understand the difference:
WiFi 6 and 6Ghz are not the same thing.
WiFi 6 is the newest standard for WiFi connection. If you buy a regular WiFi 6 dual-band router, you will still only see 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz as connection options. The difference is the maximum speeds you can see on those bands, and the stability of your connection, thanks to technologies like traffic prioritization, OFDMA, and beamforming. WiFi 6 connections also tend to be more secure, and uses newer encryption technologies.
6Ghz is the new, faster WiFi band you may get if you decide to purchase a tri-band router (last-gen routers were only dual-band, 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz). If your devices don't support the new 6Ghz band, you will only be able to connect at 5Ghz speeds (and some older devices still only support 2.4Ghz). Tri-band routers that have this third band are called WiFi 6E routers, and tend to be much more expensive than regular WiFi 6 routers. Also, your router may support the 6Ghz band, but if you only have 1Gbps or less speeds, you won't really see much (if any) difference compared to the 5Ghz band.
At this time, you're likely better off with just a plain WiFi 6 router.

Thanks for this. I had suspicion this was related to my Wi-Fi upgrade at home. I got Xfinity 300 mbps with a new xFi Gateway router. Everything, including my phone, is way faster!
That's plasibo. you you don't need spend that much if you just causal browse even with just 50mbp you can simultaneously stream 2 4k tvs. If you are far from your router then just buy a wifi repeater or extender. You'll save tones of money this way.

Wifi 6 is suppose to only be available for business use. It doesn't give as wide of service as 5G.

My phone has this icon, but wifi6 is turned off on my router. When I checked the connected devices on the router, it says 5G. I have 1GB internet.

No issues using this. Just different symbols. Unfortunately If I had the fiber connection I could get higher download and upload speeds.
Go with ATT's 2 gig and 2 gig down. I have used both and ATT is way better.

I expected my ps5 to run like a dream, any idea what I should do cus my expected speed is 950mbs+.
so I get 20 Mbps with phone internet, 323 Mbps with wifi "6" turned on. phone : Samsung S21 Fe. Through a Nighthawk/CM1000 combination, over Xfinity internet. Their routers are meh. I get 70 more Mbps with my Combo over their newest gateway. Thanks for the info on the "6", I thought it had to be that I'm rolling with WiFi 6. Cheers!

My internet's always been pretty damn good the 2.4 and the 5.0 but I got the new router with the 6.0. Problem is I can't find the 6.0 Network when I search for available networks on my phone or computer. When I log on to my Xfinity account it tells me I have three different networks and it lists the 6.0 Network but it does not let me connect to it through the Xfinity account I have to do it through the Wi-Fi on my phone. So how do I connect to the 6.0 Network or does Xfinity just choose for you and is it always connected to the 6.0? Because I've tried adding it with the ad Network button but even though I put in the name and my password and all the information it never brings it up when scanning for new Wi-Fi that is available. So I don't know what the fuck is going on? And it's not that my Internet is slow or anything but why pay for something that you can't even use
