My girlfriend bought the flight to Paris from Spain just to see this bon iver show. She made me a surprise and I still cannot believe my eyes. We were at the frontline, just infront of Bon iver... I'm so grateful for this

22 has meant so much to me over the last two years, and seeing this performance made it so raw for me - I’m getting the symbol put onto my body forever in a months time. This means far too much to me for it not to be permanent.

This is holy music.
There are some lyricists who can insert smart wordplay here and there and then there's Justin Vernon. I have to really pay attention to word choice, word breaks, and just how it's all put together. I get lost in his voice and the meaning of his words. It is quite incredible.
Bon iver is exactly like when you were scared from your 30's while you are in your 20's but then you discover that 30's are just fucking beautiful! they make mature music!
