Yanis has always been pretty cheerful, but it's lovely to see that sparkle in his eye this new romance has brought him! It's quite cute how he blushes when you guys tease him about it. Sweet young man, that - he deserves to be happy! Have a great weekend, everyone!
Beautiful craftsmanship Simon. Hope Billy is able to do yhe floors before Patty puts up the skirting. Behave yourself in Paris Yennis , Billy needs you healthy.
If I could give you some advice because I have been there. Can you put a flexible door seal on the bottom of your doors. It would help keep out bugs and other critters not to mention the cold and heat. Just saying 😊😊. Love that you guys are doing repairs to the convent. What you are doing is great.
Ceiling fan planned for the top of the 2 story library? Imaging the heat from the ground floor escaping straight to the top! The work you’re all doing is looking fantastic and thoroughly inspiring.
Was our Yanis blushing? Oh my! Paris must be something pretty special! The hall already looks amazing, but I cannot wait to see it with the stone floor cleaned and that new chandelier sparkling!
Who was the young lady riding her bike with Yanis? Yanis had his saddle bags full for a picnic? In Michael's installing steel railing at the Chateau video......Just an old lady wishing all young people love and happiness.
Im do happy for him, he deserves some love and happiness , being so far away from his family . She’s a stunner too, really pretty and seemed like so much fun 😊 looked like they had a very nice and romantic time last weekend. Young love in Paris😍 Seems like everyones dream Shopping at designer stores, going to nice cafes , walking under the Eiffel tower at night . The perfect date ! I hope it continues the way it started❤
The upstairs where Mick and Rick are working is so bright as the walls are removed. I wonder how the rooms could be configured to put the hallway along one side with the rooms in the remaining space. That way, the hall and rooms would be bright from daylight
Don’t worry! Billy boy has it sorted in that he has worked out what he wants to do - he has never let his (us) down … I love his vision and enjoy the fact that his plans are working out SO well. Bravo Billy 👏🏻🇳🇿 New Zealand ❤
Such hard work and fantastic results. Simon and Yanis make a great team. Mick and Rick are tireless in their demolition. I love how everything is separated. But I guess that more because of the dump rules than anything else Cheers to the end of another successful week. 😀🍻
Yannis, enjoy your Paris weekend. Hope we will get a peek at Simon’s farm house, if he’s got anything new to share with us. He must be tired after working all day at the convent. Hope he’s been able to make some progress
I am so enjoying your beautiful work. I have not read all of the other comments but I am watching your Dad and friend taking down walls on the second floor (1st for UK) and I am wondering if you considered taking down those floating existing walls and rebuilding the space with the hallway running up front (including the front courtyard windows). This would allow you to build large beautiful hotel rooms with more privacy toward the back, with the en suites installed however you choose.
Yanis should be carrying those bags of cement/plaster on his shoulder and not cuddling them. He will suffer with a bad back if he continues to do so. Better still, get a small flat bed trolley. I'm sure Brico must stock them.
I say this every week Billy, you have a fantastic team of men and i know how appropriative you are for them. My daughter and her man are going to start renovating a narrowboat (well a huge piece of metal lol)so i though i'd see if they would like to use Ozmo. So went on line to see the different products no knowing which to chose... anyway long story short i ordered a same thinking it was 50ml,NO it was a 5ml lol, so maybe a wooden spoon lo,. Have a great weekend all.🤗🇬🇧
Any chance you might use the handrails hiding in the attic at the top of the staircase to add to the hallway entrance to the cellar? Or, utilize some of the oak beams removed to machine make the hand railing?
Oh my goodness... the progress you all have made is beyond amazing! Simon and Yanis, the plaster is beyond beautiful - it truly brings each area to life. Mick and Rick, the upper level looks absolutely amazing! All that you have accomplished in just a short while is incredible. You all should be so very proud of what you are accomplishing and what you have achieved. Have a blessed Sunday! May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He show you His favor and have mercy upon you; and may He watch over you and give you His peace. Numbers 6:24-6
The pass through looks so wonderful. With the additional wooden handrail to the basement it will have such an elegant look. Its all done so respectfully to the history of the era of the building. I cant wait to see what you do in the garden areas. I greenhouse and fruit trees and reflecting pool and pavilion to entertain. It will all look heavenly.
I wish they wore masks when pulling down the walls. Who knows what bad stuff lurks in those old walls. My brother in law contracted some very strange illness from doing home reno, taking down old walls, and ended up in the hospital. All that stuff gets in to your lungs!
@@maryfrench9757wet bags of air mixed with dry dust equals hard bags of very little air flow, makes me cringe every time. Worry about Mick, a dear friend died because she was digging about old piles of wood and debris on an old farm she bought. She got quite sick and they thought it was lung cancer but by the time they figured out it was some sort of fungus that was growing in her lungs it was too late and she passed away. 😥 She was a very active young 54 who loved having her horses on the ranch , so sad.😥
It’s beautiful! Will you be painting the ceiling? If not maybe you can hang the chandelier after the last of the entrance is plastered before Simon leaves. Have a great weekend everyone
Simon and yanis..you two are amazing workers. Love that cheeky grin and wink Simon gives…melts my heart..and yanks, you are such a lovely young man. Loved seeing you play with Billie’s son.xx
Billy have you ever thought about get a product placement or a being a sponsor to your channel for Bricco since you used them so much to get supplies you should talk about to the management about possibly funding your Channel
My father was a builder and when I see comments chiding you for safety gear I can hear his voice say “I am a grown man, don’t tell me what to do” He lived to his late 80’s and outlived all those of the same generation by 10 years who took better care of their health than he did. Do what works for you!
It would be nice if you left that little room beside the fireplace attached to the library for a little reading nook/room. I’m thinking children book readings etc…
Billy, I believe you have assembled the ultimate team to work on your convent. You are all amazing but Yanis takes the prize. He has flourished with all of the camaraderie. I would love to hang out with that many people and have them all get along with each other.
I love the smile on Yanis' face!
The entrance hallway is looking amazing. I can’t wait to watch the chandelier installation. Happy weekend everyone.
Simon and Yanis have done a wonderful job. The hallway is starting to look great.
That convent is going to be beautiful 😍
On these walls, you can put XLarge and gorgeous art work.
Mick and Rick are killing it upstairs...! What a change opening up that space!
Give them a few years and they may realize why we agree that they don’t take enough precautions.
Another room nearly finished, the sun shining in, imagine it shining on a chandelier...so happy you saved the floor...cheers boys..!!!
A cold frosty to complement the work of the day. Well deserved men.😊
I think there'll be layoffs at Brico when the Convent is finished 😁
Never fear, Billy then will undoubtedly then move onto the next project
More of saying Thanks for contributing, doing the professional work team with us at the end

As Billy says “It looks Amazing “❤
Excellent work gentlemen! Looking fantastic 👌 😀 😍
Hall looking fantastic and door reveals really spiffed it up! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I was wondering about that as you can see daylight under the doors. I just assumed they hadn't gotten to putting foam or whatever in that space yet.
I would think that the area where the threshold sits would have been leveled before the doors were installed.
The carpenter has to come back with the pieces for the bottoms ….😊
It's interesting to hear that you say "first fix" and "second fix" for the two stages of electric work. In the US we say "rough in" and "trim."
In Australia it is first fix and second fix (sometimes fit off)
The revealed reveals are revealing.
Thanks for revealing that. It reveals a lot about you.
I love alliteration to begin with and this is alliteration to the nth degree.!!
I am reveling in this!
Have a lovely time in Paris Yanis 😉
Looking fantastic! Well done everyone, upstairs and downstairs!
What a team Rick & Mic are !! ❤🎉
That Entrance Hall In all ways is amazing. 🎉. Simon & Yannis-Team. Lol ❤️
Thanks!
Renovations are moving forward, everything looks nice, can't wait until next week's adventures in renovations.
Billy you’ve got a great team with you on this rebuild I wish I was part of it 👏👏👍 well done to all proper team spirit

Great guys , the hallway looks really lovely 😍 x
I’m thinking Bricco needs to give you a special parking spot! Seriously!🎉

I think that's what Billy has planned already. This.way the hallway gets sunlight and the rooms can be decent sized.

So glad to see Yanis’ curls again! ☺️
That's the energy I am drawn to genuine, kind and gentle. You soul's essence. The real you.
Just beautiful Simon & Yannis! Amazing work😄❤️🙌🏼🇺🇸
You men have done an amazing job. Such pride in your work. Could you tern some balustrades out of the oak posts you are removing from upstairs?

Great job on the entrance!

Amazing job Simon and Yanis. I do hope Yanis has a wonderful weekend in Paris.
TGIF from California. Thank you for your daily dose of artisanship. Enjoy your Friday tipple.
Another week finished with so much progress. Loved the video. See you all for the next one.
So great to see no gaps under the front and rear doors. That ought to help keep the hall warmer.
Happy Friday. Here's to another incredible week of progress by the best team ever.👏👏👏👏👏👏😊🍺
