Con mucho respeto, isn't "I have never slept so much=Nunca 'he' dormido tanto" and not "nunca 'habia' dormido tanto." Sorry about the punctuation. I love the way you build in grammatical complexity as you go through the examples!

Te quiero tanto. I love you so much. (tanto as adverb?)
Estoy tan cansado que sólo quiero dormir. (tan as adverb - so)
No tengo tantos perros como él. (tantos as adj. - as many)
Por qué hace tanto calor? (tanto as adj. calor is a noun)
¡qué libro tan interesante! ( tan as adv.- so. ) Can tanto as an adverb be placed before a verb?

¡Perfecto! ¡Excelente pregunta! No, it's not often placed before the verb 🙂

@@TellMeInSpanishEng That's the one thing I didn't hear in this lesson. I learned "tan" is used with adjectives and adverbs, never changes (no agreement), and always goes before the adjective or adverb; whereas "tanto" is used with nouns and verbs, changes (has to agree), and goes before a noun but after a verb.
      Is this correct?
One note: the lesson I learned from didn't include the tan...como usage, so thanks for including that!
