Let me tell you, Eugenia, I just LOVE your 4C hair it's BEAUTIFUL!!!! My 4C hair is exactly like yours only shorter. I used to have Sisterlocks (for 5 years) and did the big chop last year for the 2nd time (due to not knowing how to handle my 4C hair). Thank you for doing what you're doing. By watching your videos, I've learned to love and appreciate my 4C hair . . . I literally used to hate it. I just received my products today and they all smell magnificent. I'm on a new path to grow my hair out long like yours. My Sisterlocks grew out long (to my breast line) in less than 5-years. I'm taking your advice (which is similar to how often I would have my Locks retightened), 6-weeks wearing my twists then wash (following your regimen using my products I just received today). Thank you so much, I just wanted you to know that you have made a difference in my life. Blessings to you always!!!!

I used tea tree oil, black castor, grape seed oil, argan oil coconut and plan to use vitamin E oil. For the grease I use Dax hemp seed and Doo Gro, I also plan to use sulfur 8 and plamer's .

Oils are not bad for natural hair and Yes they can be used alone. I also use oils and grease alone sometimes, my hair never breaks
Oils act like Sebum, and condition the hair strands to prevent tangling and single strand knots. All naturals talk about is moisturizing, every thing isn’t about moisturizing. Human hair needs “conditioning” as well

Try not to manipulate your hair too often.
Trim it just to make sure the ends are not splitting. Avoid chemicals keep it in braided protective styles for a year. Rebraid
of course for that year every two months. You can wash and condition braids by putting on a stocking cap and then shampoo.
There is a great book called “thunder heads”,
      which explains it all!

I am a beginner and I have transitioning hair. Anyway, the point is, I am HORRIBLE at cornrow and I want to be able to do protective styles like this on my own. So, could you possibly make a video o how you braid cornrows?
