    Have you ever done a review on GF 20-35mm ?

    You said the body was full metal.. as matter of fact when you zoom out to 64mm.. you can see the inner barrel is actually plastic with metal filter holder on the end. Compared to Zeiss and Sigma Art lenses, I think the build quality of this lens is a bit disappointing. That being said, the optics are very good and I’m happy with the image quality. Just wish the build quality was more premium for what it cost.

    I went with the 32-64 f/4, and the 80 f/1.7 for my GFX 100s, and it's been amazing so far. Thinking of maybe saving up for the 100-200mm for long reach landscapes and I'll consider my kit complete.

      Personally I don’t quite like 100-200. For landscape it’s probably ok. Quite some penalty for AF especially indoors

    Hmm, nice. You've almost got me convinced. Send back the 35-70mm and maybe pick this one up used instead. Hopefully I won't mind the extra weight. These are pretty reasonable right now used since I think people want the newer 45-100mm.

      It truly stands as one of the best zoom today still!

    Hi Richard, thanks for the comprehensive review. I plan to use this lens mainly for landscapes and cityscapes. Could you please let me know if the lens displays any focus breathing? Thanks!

    Great video thanx for sharing
    But I heard it’s soft in the corners compared with the 30mm ?

      You really cant compare it to a GF Prime lens. Its a really good lens compared to most zooms but GF primes are a whole different level.

    Does Fuji GFX 100s automatically close the shutter while changing lens to protect the sensor from the dust? Canon R5, Sony A1 and other modren cameras have this very useful feature.

    • @ZPProductions
      @ZPProductions  2 роки тому

      No it don’t do that. Canon R was the first to do it

      @@leites1975it’s not that great feature to be honest , while changing lenses you have risk to damage shutter by god knows what things could hit it … also it wears out shutter more because shutter has to move when camera off … unnecessary wear.
      The sensor is never naked it’s has filter (piece of glass) that is a hard glass not easy to scratch …

    What lens do you know of at f/4 is fast focusing? It is as fast as my Pentax 6 x 7 at f4 if not faster.

      @@earlrogersjr3026 that’s definitely true. But I think fuji need to work alittle on their af when at smaller aperture since full frame side can confidently af till f8 now

    Hai ZP! Can u give comments Gfx 32-64 Vs Gfx 30-70 lens?

    • @ZPProductions
      @ZPProductions  2 роки тому +1

      32-64 is slightly better. I did use it before. But the question is it worth so much more, it depends if you shoot f4 or not. If you do it’s worth it. Else the difference at 5.6 is there but not something you will sweat over. CA control is also better on the 32-64 over the. 30-70 if you do harsh day light shoot

    but DOF is not that good right?

    • @ZPProductions
      @ZPProductions  4 роки тому

      Do you mean bokeh or actually dof
      If bokeh yeah not as great as say a f2.8/f2 lens and is as expected. It’s smooth though and don’t have anything distracting.
      If you mean DOF in context to landscape, the limitation is more like the defraction limit which on the gfx 100 will start at f8 and gfx around f11. So in certain landscape shots you may need to stack if maximising sharpness

    • @ZPProductions
      @ZPProductions  4 роки тому

      @@GOKULLRAW It does in good light. LM motor is superior. In low light I will rank 45 then 32-64 and finally 63. 63 is terrible. It may just be a limitation in the GFX cameras.
