- This Another Day Of Sun piano solo is in the Hal Leonard La La Land vocal selections songbook. The song was written by Justin Hurwitz and is the opening number in La La Land. It's a tricky piano arrangement since the rhythm is all over the place and the bass line in the left hand is moving relentlessly...but that's also what makes it so fun to play!

Nice work!! I like the version, but i thinkj you could do the original bass line, because I thing it's better (I tell you because I'm pianist and I did a reduction and I used the original bass line and it sounds better).

Definitely work out comfortable fingerings for that LH first and don't rush it. Have fun with it!
@@ryropiano yeah I'm enjoying jazz sooo much I'm sure it won't stay that way but for now it's something new anwyasy it was sounding pretty bad but for some reason I was playing it sn octive higher I seriously don't know what was going through my head but now it's fine

Stay light in the left hand and use the pedal sparingly, especially in the verse sections. It'll get muddled immediately if there's too much pedal because of the walking bass line in the left hand. Good luck!
