YOU ARE A GEM!!! I’m in Atlanta and will certainly be looking you up to book with you. I am currently just going into business for myself after working in the field for about 4 years. I decided to enter into another area of esthetics after opening my space as well. Much success and many blessings to you!
Hello, first I want to say you are remarkable☺️🎇. I don’t know you but I want to say that I’m so proud of your success! I am a licensed Esthetics and Cosmetology Instructor and I am trying to get my business up and running. You gave some great information and I’m truly inspired. I do have a question…I wanted to know when you started off as being mobile, before you got tour space and you first started doing your registration paperwork, what address did you use? Was it your home address or a virtual address? Which one is better to use when you are first registering, here in Georgia?
As someone who went thru college, dabbled in grad school, did a pharm tech program and now is in massage therapy JUST GO FOR IT. We have the ability to reinvent ourselves. If you wanna do it just make a plan
@@lisafuqua7942 congratulations on being 50 plus and going back and getting your aesthetic license you will not regret it it's beautiful the key point I recommend to everyone if they're interested is taking up a second license so did you have extra backup and you can do more than one thing with that license. Such as electrolysis, manicuring, cosmetology, barbering, hair braiding, massage therapy. Choice is yours but it's never too late to learn definitely if you're in school as soon as you get your license go right back and get your instructors license therefore you know that you have a comfortable career teaching everybody what they're going to need to prepare for for state board.
I got my license at 43 ish, and here I am back in school getting my license as an instructor at Paul Mitchell. When I graduated, I worked at Massage Envy just for the experience, then a holistic spa and med spa. Now I’m teaching, and finally got my space on my own. As she said, don’t rush the process, learn learn learn because skin is such a vast topic. Best wishes!!!
Mobile bed, steamer, mag lamp, 3 shelf cart, products, and 4x4 esthetic wipes. I don’t recommend a towel warmer it’s to heavy to carry. And a blanket. The less the better
I have a question : So i just finished school and - am looking to work at a med spa but should i still register my business even if i do not or will not have any income coming in just yet? so that I can have MY llc, MY ein AND ready to go, will i need to report that I do not have income just yet?
How did you apply for the business license while starting mobile? I’m currently trying to see is it best to put it as “home based” for my city or is their a different way?
5,000 total including products but I was also working at the Medspa so I had a check coming in bi weekly as well. Most of my clients came from ads paid for on social media
I’m trying to register my LLC but Do I have to register as an agent for the business? I don’t have a space yet either so how do I put an address to apply for an llc, it says no PO box….

I would love to talk to you about how you started. I am over 40 and wondering if this is a bad idea for someone over 40 to start a aesthetic career.
