I have a lr4 and when ever it rains … all the lights come on my dashboard … then usually goes away , but it getting worse … my floor ain’t wet …. Could it still be my drain tubes ?
So, are you saying that the drain tube from the Sunroof cassette to behind the air intake grille is perished somewhere between and leaking internally before it can drain out in the outer wheel arch? If so, can It be replaced? What is the fix? Thanks for the effort!
Yes, the pipes may have shrunk or the connectors perished. Although I believe with the Range Rovers, the problem is usually at the end where it meets that grommet. Many times when we find leaks on sun roof drainage systems, somebody has already tried a repair and the parts or covered in silicone sealant or been glued. It is best to buy a replacement set and replace the lot. It is often the case that manufacturers improve the design or quality of materials, and that is what you get with the replacement.
Have you ever seen it where the sunroof itself is leaking rather than the drainage pipes? My car is locally and they’re saying it’s a full sunroof replacement at £2,000 + VAT just for the parts, not to mention taking the headliner down etc. Is it realistic that the cassette itself would have a leak in it? Thanks for any help
Any parts company should sell an improved set of hoses for the sunroof. But you should also check the windscreen. Another fault of range rovers is the screen becomes unbonded.
Replace the drainage system. We don't think the Range Rover ones are much good, so we suggest making one from scratch out of higher quality hose and connectors.

Hard to know isn’t it
My car is becoming a little nightmare 😅😅😑😑😑
Anyone knows where to get a replacement set, to replace the lot?

Hi how did you repair this ? Thanks
The silicone hoses shrink and pull off, or they perish and leak. So we replace all the hoses, decontaminate the car and dry it.
And the solution???

Got any ideas why the boot on a discovery 4 is wet when it been good weather and now after a pouring down it's soaked?
