Ro how long does it take to remove the carpet back? Is it difficult?

Heya, i have a problem with my mx5 nb. So whenever i let my car sit or drive in the rain, there is always water running down between my door and the seal. It misses the bucket thing where it should catch the water. I replaced my seal on the doors but it didnt stop it. Any suggestions?

I have recently been frantically trying to solve this issue on our 10 year old B Max and scoured the interweb for helpful info. The issue of the vents appears to be the overwhelming favourite and after investigations, I concur but in my case, I believe it was the seal/s which were letting in water not the vents themselves. I removed and cleaned up the vent seals and applied silicone before refitting. Early days but, having tested with water (from above), it looks to have solved the problem. I'd like to add, sticking a hose in behind the bumper will inevitably result in water entering the vents so I don't believe this serves any purpose other than flooding the vehicle unnecessarily.

Yep just noticed the windscreen leaking on a 2019 evoque, something has happened to the bonding, thank god Range Rover don't manufacture submarines.

Same leaking place on Disco 5 I think. To confirm there should be not running / draining at all on they seal should there? There does seem to be 2 places where it almost ‘drains’ on the rubber seals each side, but makes no sense why it should need to do that.

Have a sopping driver side and under driver seat. Was thinking it is the door seals. Also have a leak from rear top brake light dripping on the rear floor. Would sealant solve this?

My wife has had very similar problem in her Polo. We've spent over £1000 so far trying to get this rectified and still leaking 🤔

Finally, this has been bugging me for weeks. Fixed all sources of the rear leaks and couldn’t understand why blue windscreen wash was in the boot until i checked that grommet. Its completely ripped. Thank You

Had this exact experience with mine, it was a small gap in the seal over the window screen. Resealed and so far fixed. Fingers crossed!

You sir are a hero, Got a 2013 ST 5 weeks ago, spare wheel well 3 inches of water and rear drivers footwell drenched checked all the signs in forums but all okay. Seen this and BOOM Gromit broken and mouldy put water on it and it went inside the plastic panel inside. got a new one from Ford will see in 3 days if this sorts my issue :) Thanks buddy

I had this happen on same car & it was the back lights , you need to put a bit of silicone at the top where the water runs down '.

I’ve got a estate cupra and it’s leaking from the driver side pillar only a small patch but when the rain gets heavy it does start to drip slightly I’ve already cleaned out the roof drains any idea what else it could be ?

You are such a pro! Mine right side have a weak leak. No matter how big or small rain it is, there would be some water behind the right seat carpet. Seems like how much water it leaks only depends on how long the rain is. Today i spend three hours on finding it. Did some cleaning and taping treatment. Hope it works.

That was a easy one. I had mine for 11 years and recently i discovered a wet floor on passengers side, so i removed the front seat and the mat and discovered a pool of water. It was coming from AC condensation hose 😂

Would have been great to see the scuttle panel removal process - blanking plate/grommet, not many videos about including the TT forums.

Hello, how are you my friend? I have a Volkswagen Golf MK3, 1993 model, and it has a sunroof. When I washed the car, water appeared inside the car. The reason is the sunroof water drainage channels, and the water was coming out from under the fuse box inside the car. Do I have to open the dashboard? I hope you can show me the water channel so I can follow it.

Dear friend, I do have exactly the same problem at my Citröen C1. How do I get the problem fixed ? Unfortunately, I am not living in the UK, otherwise I would definitively come by....... I already changed the seal with an original one from Citroen, however it did not help .... appreciate your help....

Mine was leaking from rear lamps as washers worn out. I replaced with makeshift washers and leak stopped.
