Just wanted to say thank you for this video. I was in this exact situation where my battery has died and because of this lousy approach from Novette of making you buy a new vacuum I searched for an alternative. I bought a bigger battery and it seems that the UK version of the vacuum has enough space to encapsulate the battery without any other adaptations to the case. Cheers!

Isn't it because he said the new battery pack comes with its own circuit board already attached that I assume does the same regulation or whatever they are meant for?
