      Energetic and engaging doesn't mean good. Car crashes aren't good but everyone wants to film them. Hitler wasn't a good person but he was *captivating* in the literal dictionary definitional sense of the word.
      You can both be a questionable human being and also garner attention from others. Just because people listen to you speak doesn't mean they 1) agree with you, 2) like you, or 3) support what you're saying. In fact, they CAN'T disagree if they don't know what you're saying in the first place.
      This concept of being able to listen without automatically being considered a supporter of whatever's being said, is a fundamental core principle of the western world; specifically the US.

Refusing to grow up, refusing to change, demanding everyone around them take care of them and then taking everything for granted because someone will always save them. • @AreYouGray
      @AreYouGray Рік тому +1

      100%, Krepo is a creep and the whole situation regarding him is because he was a 'likable' personality. Years ago though, people were most accepting of that kind of behavior as weird as it sounds and even though he lost his job as a caster he even managed to stay within the league esports scene as a analyst. It was treated like a whole joke with him going by the name "Boris" and doing interviews with a stupid fake mustache but then we see recently G2 owner Carlos (who is a dickhead admittedly) takes a picture with Andrew Tate at a party and that is suddenly the worst thing to ever happen - he's blacklisted from the scene, removed from G2 ownership etc.
      Kind of a unrelated tangent but it goes to show you how powerful and pathetic favortism can be. Hell, it took Gross Gore of all people to start talking about these things first.

      I think this is a bit of a "chicken or egg" situation. Yes, he lost all that fame, money, and prestige because he was acting like a douche and he harassed girls, but if you think about it, why did he became famous and successful in the first place? For being a loud, brash, aggressive extrovert. The streaming industry selectively promotes people like him, because their unbridled, impulsive personalities are really popular, but those same personality traits that make them successful are also the ones responsible for getting them into trouble and resulting in getting cancelled.
      In many ways, it's just like how the producers running reality TV shows purposefully pick the contestants with the most extreme personalities and conflicting values, to guarantee that they would get into conflicts with each other, and chances are, the majority of these people end up as wrecks. However, it's hard to decide if their lives get screwed over because they were on a reality TV show, or they already had screwy lives and personalities, and that's why they ended up in a reality show in the first place.

Hard to say which it is, but one definitely makes the other worse. Makes it a whole vicious cycle since a majority don't see to be able to pull themselves out of it, but let themselves get swept up instead, repeating it over and over again.

    It's a rollercoaster watching videos here....first when I hear about the money I get jealues and in the end I'm fine , rather be poor then screw up like that. U should make a " what these youtubers do today" in a year or two.

    Oof, I feel for that adult community having this guy proclaiming himself as some kind of advocate. Just cringe. Kinda like whatsername Jenner winding up as a default trans representative when she gladly threw the community under the bus.

    man I didn't even know he had a career outside of the runescape videos he uploaded in the late 00's. Shocking to learn all of this, i actually liked his videos and he was a popular content creator in the community.

    What you did not mention here Kira, is the fact that he pushed his bestfriend since mid-school Ryan off of a moving car while being drunk. Gross Gore's downfall was due to that single deed

    Ahh GrossGore. I remember back around maybe season 3 of LoL I found his stream and he wasn't bad. A bit salty for camera at times but nothing out the ordinary. Later on long after I'd moved on, things really took a dive for him.

    random thought, bruh in mmos you could find a replacement dps in literally a fraction of a second. raids always need a tank or healer but there is no shortage of dps.

      Believe it or not i actually know someone (I keep him at extreme distance) that puts Gross Gore to shame. Everything the guy does is like the worst possible decision and all he thinks about is that exact moment and not even 10 hours ahead.
