it's insane to me how she claimed to have a 40 minute seizure and then just continued to act completely fine. a 40 minute seizure is almost guaranteed to cause some type of brain damage at the least, but without medical care it would've killed her. the fact that people just took her on her word for it and didn't question how someone had a 40 minute uninterrupted seizure with no signs of lasting damage shows just how gullible people are and how willing they are to believe these influencers and celebrities

    Cancer survivor here.
At the doctor's office where I received my chemo, I had a really sweet, experienced nurse who did wonders to ease my fears. She put her arm around me and reassured me that I was in good hands. That small gesture alone did me a lot of good.
She repeatedly emphasized, throughout my chemo, to listen to the doctor and the cancer team, and ONLY them. She said, "I want you to be aware of this, so that you're not blindsided: you're gonna have well-meaning people coming out of the woodwork recommending all kinds of stuff. This miracle fruit, or that supplement, some supposed superfood, or some bizarre exercises... it'll run the gamut. DON'T LISTEN TO ANY OF IT. Listen to us, your team, and us only." • @RubyBlueUwU
      @RubyBlueUwU Рік тому +35

To be fair (or factual I guess? Not trying to imply she deserves any leniency), she wasn’t getting treatment or claiming to be afaik. Part of her story was claiming to be curing her cancer through diet and whatever else and discouraging actual treatment. It’s potentially one of the most insidious things she did, because it’s bad enough when actual sufferers discourage actual medical treatment in favour of ~natural healing~, but this monster didn’t even have her own life on the line.
I’m guessing the ridiculous seizure fiasco was supposed to be her “showing symptoms” lmao, but the people platforming and paying her should’ve done their due diligence long ago

Found the original thread! She was a girl she knew growing up and had told stories to my friend growing up & they laughed about her being a compulsive liar cause she used to get into sone shit.
Her status was whether or not to call her out publicly; she didn’t have evidence but she was worried about the lie. My friend second guesses herself a lot about belle lying but eventually more and more evidence comes out and she’s like “I’m not a bad person for thinking this!! Ahh”

As someone who has cancer (Not terminal thankfully.) words cannot express who I feel about this 'person'.

Ofc she doesn't have remorse, she's a psychopath. She doesn't have the ability to feel it.

Reminds me on the Theranos lady. Somehow all of those fraud experienced women seem to have literal demon´s eyes, as well.
There must be some sort of connection between looking completely soulless and having zero empathy.

As a schizophrenic, I think many health gurus are as well and I apologize on their behalf, because they really think they are helping and are special.

Anytime someone claims that alternative medicine has cured their terminal illnesses, that's when I start to become suspicious

Yeah. Stage IV kidney cancer patient here. I'm 25. The revelation that she never even had cancer made me so mad. Holy crap, what an evil person. Once again Kira, I don't know how you stay so chill scripting and editing these as a cancer survivor yourself. I would break down even trying to do it.

I have known someone like this. It is a mental illness. Not that that gets her a lot of sympathy from me. That said they literally cannot stop lying. No matter what proof or facts you present they will just create more fantastical lies and they commit to it so much they themselves start believing it.

This was greed and pride not Münchhausen, if you ask me. She thought she could get away with it. UA-cam is full of these people claiming they have illnesses and are being miraculously cured.
It's a hugely common scheme happening out in the open.

This is untrue. Illness anxiety disorder is an anxiety disorder, not a delusional disorder. It is serious condition that can be debilitating because people who have it are obsessed with their health and get seriously worried about every small little thing that happens with their body. But it doesn't cause them to lie about having a disease, esp not an easily identifiable one, such as brain cancer. This person is clearly lying on purpose and doing it for money and attention, like many people do.

I was reminded of the movie "I Care A Lot". She even looks unannily like main actress Rosamund Pike (who also played Gone Girl) when she isn't smiling. But the movie was made and released before she got exposed, just goes to show that late-stage captialism satirises itself in real life as much as it is done in fiction I guess.
