    Thanks 2 you, I was able to do this process, my igniter sensor did not look dirty though, I saw mouse poop in there, so I vacuumed it out. The furnace has been running for 55 minutes without shutting down, steady yellow and red light......so warm in here now..... Many Thanks..

    Hey bro, at 1:05 & 4:08, I wish you would’ve showed us your process of loosening (and tightening) those double nutted piping systems! Did you use 2 channel locks? A locking vise grip and crescent wrench? A small pipe wrench and a set of pliers? Just wondering, cause the older furnaces that have really frozen pipes can be super hectic! 😁 Thanks man!

    I've cleaned plenty of these to get by, but usually by the time they start sensing weak flame it's time to change the ignitor. I wish nordyne would have had a flame sensor separate. Like Colemans.

      If it a 90 percent efficient furnace with two pvc pipes coming out of the cabinet it is likely you could have a restriction in the intake pipe for combustion air.I disconnect the intake pvc pipe at the furnace and use a electric leaf blower to blow through the pipe to clear it all the way outdoors.A licensed HVAC contractor can check and clear a blocked intake pipe and if that is the cause,no parts just a labor charge.

    My furnace will not turn off from the thermometer if it is more than 66°F.
    The thermostat is fine and opens at temp. The control module is brand new. I think it may be the low voltage wiring.
    Any ideas?

    • @JurassicJolts
      @JurassicJolts Рік тому +2

      Questions:
      Furnace continually runs or just the fan?
      How long does it run?
      I would disconnect the thermostat wires and the board and use jumper wires to call for heat. Remove the jumpers and it should stop the flame within a few seconds. The fan will still run for a few minutes. If it’s still doing it with no wires attached then it’s your board. If it doesn’t do it then it’s something with the wiring or the thermostat

    • @tehNashty
      @tehNashty Рік тому

      @@JurassicJolts It is heating, not just the fan.
      It runs until I kill power to the furnace. I have allowed it to get to 76°F before I turn it off. I usually turn it off between 68-72°F
      I will try your suggestion. I feel like it is the low voltage wiring since I replaced the board not too long ago.
      Thanks!

    So I have a problem with my mom's Miller furnace a mobile home 1985 I've gone through the pressure limit switch fan limit switch and even a new blower motor the furnace keeps cycling on and off so the thermostat will click it'll fire up then it'll shut down The fan will kick on then it'll reignite and then it does that for the whole duration of the furnace What the heck could it be could it be a flame sensor?. I thought it was the fan limit switch It wasn't
