It’s a beautiful scent and it does last forever . I came home after 8 hrs and it was still lingering in my bedroom. And every now and then... it comes out of nowhere. Beautiful!
Really important points which other reviewers don’t cover much. I love things you list on your videos for an average person. An average person doesn’t care about Notes and want to smell good. Keep up the amazing reviews and love you’re taste in fragrance. I searched you’re Baccarat Rouge review and decided to watch yours. Searching for a review as I thought is there something wrong with my fragrance, so damn weak and zero projection, absolutely LOVE the scent but once of the weakest scent I have ever come across, there’s subtle but this takes subtle to a new level. Too weak and not worth the money in my opinion, nice scent but no point if one cannot smell himself.

I love and own Profumum Roma's , 18 ml , of Vantias. It's textured sweet.
I myself wouldn't want MFK's BR540 to be a projection beast.
I've sampled it , don't own it, but with the 200 ml being out now, I might get in on a split.

Of my skin this juice is pure magic only I did not believe so until my 3 wear. I went 6 sprays and went food shopping. I saw the light and was in love ever since. PERFECT fragrance to wear to an outside event because the silage is were this shines its brightest.

I had a sample of this due to the hype but i couldn't stand it. It just had a certain note that made me feel a bit sick. Longevity was absolutely stunning though, it was stuck to my arm for well over 24 hours so those who do like it will get their moneys worth!
I just sprayed it full on and I do not smell much of anything kind of like a molecule 01 type. maybe its my skin?

This stuff is flawless. Absolutely perfect. I was told to check out the DUA version of it but I noticed a huge difference in it that I didn't like so I'll stick to Baccarat Rouge 540. Thanks for reviewing it.

i sampled this fragrance yesterday, and as it dries up, the more beautiful it became, super lasting too. my daughter n i were about to sleep after we showered nd we could smell it still on our hair and skin. i sprayed 4x and my daughter sprayed the pluriel feminin twice, both can last long. pluriel became more floral. both beautiful, pluriel is for daytime for us and rouge good for cold weather or night time :) thats for us anyway, many people use rouge as their daytime scent wc is cool too :) luv FMK! i will purchase a full bottle
I know all about the DUA controversy but they gave me Casino Royale Nights and it smells wonderful. Its an impression of the Extrait version and I predict it's going to be a hype monster

I just bought a decant to sample . I think based on your review and others I’ll wait until my town fair in late September to try this on my skin . I have a feeling though based on all reviews I’m going to smell like Rosie McCann from The Banks of the Bann , And end up giving this to my wife or a granddaughter .. lol

The minerally mint you describe is likely the ambergris. Try Dior Sauvage (a known ambroxan (synthetic ambergris) bomb) and see if the base isn't reminiscent--I originally described it as smelling menthol-y before added experience
Muh dude, what's the batchcode of your bottle. Im saying they might reformed it so they could release the extraict. I have a bottle that starts with 17, the performance is exceptional but just for 40 minutes. it dies down flat, people around me can barely smell me and even more than that, that ambergris makes my nose blind. The only nice thing about it is that it does smell the day after, after waking up, you can smell it as a skin scent. I agree with everything you say. It is nice, kinda hyped. Got a bottle of 200ml and I made decants out of it really fast.

I had to trace my route back to this video because i just got a bottle of Electimuss London Trajan. A minute after i spray it, I can’t smell anything. However, it seems to be coming to me in waves at different times of the day. I could even smell it the following morning.

There is a cologne called Filthy Rich Dubai Signature I and it smells just like MFK Baccarat Rouge 540. Can you review it and compare the two. Some said Cloud smell like Baccarat Rouge 540 too but it's a sweeter kind of smell and isn't pleasant for me and doesn't smell like Baccarat Rouge 54 at all. But Filthy Rich Signature II smell just like it to me. I prefer the extrait over the regular one since it doesn't have that chemical smell and it smell sweeter like cotton candy grape. :)

I have to say I mostly ignore opening notes in niche fragrances. I'm more than willing to put up with craziness if the dry down is good. I tend to like MFK fragrances, but they are never great performers on my skin. I'll try it though based on this video. The Baccarat glass house used to be a creative player in the perfume bottle game with vintage Guerlain for example. Is there anything particularly Baccarat about this bottle? It looks like all the other MFKs.
Hey Troy! The original release of this fragrance was in an ultra expensive Baccarat glass bottle. That was out of reach for almost everyone on Earth, so they released it in this normal bottle afterwards.

Nice review, Ashton. I own the fragrance Baccarat Rogue 540 by Maison Francis Kurkdjian. I bought my bottle a few months back when I just recently started collecting fragrances. I didn't know any better so I did "blind buy" the bottle. I will admit it was one of the best "blind buys" to this day. I love the composition in the juice. It's well blended, well rounded, and screams sophistication to my nose. You're right about not projecting like a beast right from the gates. Longevity is superb on me. I get 13 hours before the life of the fragrance is gone. A big time compliment getter and definitely will stand out from the crowd. Do you smell burned ruby crystals or get that nuance at all?
This projects like a beast on my skin..made the mistake and sprayed like thrice twice on clothes and oh boy the whole office smelt like bacarrat rouge...12 hours later its still projecting off my skin like hell

@abdalla almashjary I know what mean. It’s beast mode on my skin also. I made the mistake of doing 6 sprays the first time i wore it. I got compliments from a couple of women who were standing about 10-15 feet away. I couldn’t smell it though. I realized that i go nose blind to it.

Great review as usual. Had a decant of this almost two years ago. There is really no right or wrong with fragrances. It's what works for you. But this did not work on my skin.
I think it smells a lot like Creed Carmina. Maybe the saffron?

Excellent review. I really like this fragrance too but I don't think it's worth the price tag and for the size you are getting too so I don't own a bottle. Maybe if it was a 125ml bottle like Parfums de Marly bottles. Great fragrance though.

This is a beautiful fragrance. You have to appreciate the work put into blending this, to appreciate its true Nature. But i was surprised that you did not mention hospital or dentist Office 😂
I tried this one and I wasn't too impress by it. I didn't think it was bad but it really did not wow me in the slightest.
On a side note, 200ml of MFK would definitely last you forever lol!

Due to the very loud hype of this fragrance I decided to get a sample . I bought it actually , problem is I sprayed it and couldn't smell anything at all just very faint burnt sugar or so and i thought i bought bad or non original sample, i went to there shop in where i live , i found it the same thing problem was in me not the sample .
My friend smelled it and loved it but not me who couldn't smell anything

I went to Neiman's today and they wanted me to try it as well as the Rouge 540 Extrait...everyone said "that smells so good on you" and I said "I can't smell a thing". nope, I couldn't smell it. But, tomorrow I am going to go back and spay it on me again and I think I am going to go ahead and buy it. All the reviews are so good and they did tell me that some people can't smell it on themselves but others can smell it on you...

I tried the edp absolutely fabulous, only problem the performance was very weak and the price point is ridiculous. Maybe the correct price should be for the extrait.

Dude, this stuff is super sweet and projects like crazy! You must have an unusually low body temperature for this stuff not to project. I wore this one time and, everywhere I went, it smelled like a county fair cotton candy stand. For me, there is nothing subtle about baccarat rouge 540.

If I am not wrong this was created to represent the smell of red rubies. When I smelt it I got the idea and did like it. I need to get a bottle but the prices are inhibitive. The best value MFK I have is Masulin Pluriel, it smells awesome!

Parag you are right it is a good dupe, but here lies my problem, its USD 60 (£47) for 30 ml. The real deal 70 ml is for £160, so why would i shell out 60% when i can buy the real deal. Compare this to a dupe of epic man i discovered which is available for 3£ and is exactly the same as epic man minus the castoreum note. Now that is what a dupe should be priced like. I have reviewed the clone of Epic man on my channel if you are interested.
Smells Good Accepted!! But as far as I know currently there is not a single clone of BR 540 other than the Dua one ( recently I have heard fragrance compounds/attars of BR 540 being sold) , plus the clone works out very well for somebody who wants to keep 30ml of juice only, without fancy presentation n stuff. Also I feel 30ml of dua is more potent than the original. So u would hardly need a couple of sprays for whole day performance.
I see. if I need a 30 ml I can get that as a split, but certainly not in favour of spending huge bucks on dupes, might as well get the original. The only problem I have with the DUAs is their prices, dupes cant command such high prices!

Its a MASSIVE ethyl maltol bomb, and I was very dissappointed when I smelled it. Pretty much theres some ambroxan or other musk, maybe cedramber and iso e super, and the rest is all just ethyl maltol. Id give it a smell first before blind buying, especially for the ridiculous price!

habiburrahman EQ Yeah you heard it right. Dua did make an inspired version of BR 540. Its named "Casino Royale 1280". Its 90% similar to the original BR 540, minus the weird opening which I feel is not a deal breaker given the price of Duas for a 30ml EDP/Extrait. Here in India this Dua is sold for $40 per 30ml which is amazing. Performance is at par or if I may say it even outperforms BR 540 while testing on fabric. If you are looking for an economical version of BR 540 then you should buy the Dua Casino Royale right away!! Cheers!! Keep smellin good!!

Oh it definitely is a beast on me, not in terms of it being aggressive and in your face but it lasts almost 30 hours on my skin which is just unheard of for any fragrance I've literally ever tried & I can smell it for the entirety of those 30 hours, not every minute but I'll get whiffs multiple times an hour. Again, unheard of for me
I think I may try to layer the lotion with it. I don’t get the longevity that I would like. Especially for the price. That’s amazing that it last that long on you.

Yuckmout' From Down Under well that’s funny you asked that question. I love fragrances so I am told that I smell great all the time. I think I am use to stronger fragrances. I love the scent however it’s very light compared to my taste and the amount it cost. I will continue to wear it because I think the blend is unique. It’s just a subtle fragrance but classy at the same time. I’m sure it’s my nose for sure!
