Fun fact - "running a background check on the pineapples" is one of the proof-of-concept projects for justifying RFID tags. No, seriously - the Dole pineapple company did this back in the 2000's - stuck an RFID tag on all their pineapples, just to track them through their workflow, to see what kind of information they got. Turns out they were loosing 10% of their crop due to them sitting on the ground after being picked, but before they got put into the refrigerator trucks. Source: I wrote some programming docs for an RFID scanning application. This was one of the success stories. Other fun fact - putting a ruggedized RFID chip on your shipping pallet saves you a LOT of money....due to the ability to recover your shipping pallet. Turns out those things are expensive (they're big slabs of steel), and get lost all the time due to looking like every other shipping pallet.
I've seen men in that 'moving around' situation before. Knew a guy when I was 22, an old friend from high school that I regularly played with online in MMOs. Turned out he was living in his car in a walmart parking lot and his day would consist of playing online games at the library, TCG at the card shop, and either begging or dumpster diving for food. He had been kicked out by his parents because he didn't want to go to the colllege they chose for him. I brought him a pizza once and he just cried for a good hour. Maybe I'm sadistic and like watching grown men cry, but I made him cry more when I took him in as a roommate rent free and helped him get his life turned around. Now he works crisis dispatch a security company and has his own place.

I actually did no joke live out of my car for a little while, about 3-5 years ago. Fortunately I was able to just go hang out at a friends house or something during the day. But then at night I would go park my Ford Fusion (not a huge car for sleeping in) in a NICE neighbourhood, so that I didn’t have to worry about my safety, while sleeping in my car with a window open. Fortunately I had enough pillows to almost cover the whole back seat, and it was summer so I could sleep with my back window open and have my feet out the window. But anyways, whenever I was hungry and or thirsty at night, I tried to always keep a case of water in the trunk, and maybe a 6 pack of the 710ml bottles of coke or ice tea or something like that. For food I mostly ate snack type foods with re-sealable bag tops that didn’t need refrigeration after being opened. If I was really hungry, go to a McDonalds, or Tim Hortons in the area. (As long as I had money) the problem was balancing out money for food and money for gas, because obviously I was constantly on the move, so I couldn’t risk running out of gas or I’d be totally screwed, but at the same time, I didn’t want to be hungry either. That’s why again I kept a lot of snack type food on me, because it was easy to steal that type of stuff from grocery stores. You just crack the bag open a bit, let out all the excess air, and things would become much much smaller. Where trying to steal canned goods, wasn’t really a wise choice for not being noticed lol like I said, normally I had to put the small amounts of money I could earn each day more towards gas money, so that meant I had to learn to be good at stealing small amounts of food each day, so that I wouldn’t be hungry, but also so I could allocate more funds towards keeping some gas in my car at all times! It was definitely a pretty shitty time. I wouldn’t recommend it, and therefore I wouldn’t recommend losing your families trust so that your forced to live in your car! If there’s any lesson in this, it’s don’t hurt the ones you love. Because sometimes family won’t even deal with your bullshit any longer! And we always tend to hurt the ones we love the most, don’t we!

When you crack open four Topo Seltzers to drink them all at once while trespassing in a model home, that’s called a Topo Quattro

Almost as good as quatro queso dos fritos

I love how we finally got a product that he knocks offscreen out of disgust.
