- Lawrence began to believe in Jesus as the Messiah after hearing his brother read Isaiah 53. To his great joy and surprise, his girlfriend also accepted Jesus into her life. The young believers soon married and had a baby-but then their faith was tested.
Jesus is an awesome wonderful God. One day we'll all be with him in a perfect wonderful world. But until them let's just love and praise HIM.

I don't know why. This made me cry. I don't usually cry. It's when he got to the part where his brother read to him out of Isaiah 53 (chapter not mentioned by him, but it can be no other).

I've come to believe that suffering is a favor that God does to mankind. Especially when suffering brings you closer to God. At least that's been my experience.
@Detective Halverson Me too. Better yet #MeToo! Suffering does not bring us 'closer to God.' The concept of getting 'close' to God is not really founded in Scripture, at least not for believers. They don't need to be brought 'closer.' They are already as close as close can be, they are One with Him. More accurately, suffering makes us more LIKE God, i.e., persevering, strong, unwavering. Affliction is a fire that refines out dross and leaves the divine gold of Christ revealed in us. At least that's my experience.
@Detective Halverson No suffering comes save that which God directs and, for those that love Him and are called according to His purpose, it is all worked to our good.

I am a Christian but like many others I feel upset sometimes because of losing a good friend, problems at work, feeling lonesome, ect. Whenever I feel this way, our LORD JESUS CHRIST send me little signs. I see a JESUS graffiti, a man walks up the street with a huge "JESUS lives " sign right outside my window (this is very very unusual in Germany), I get an unexpected phone call... tiny signs to let me know that I am not alone and that there is no reason to be scared because our LORD JESUS CHRIST walks right ahead of me. My daughter was a mere vegetable after an.accident shortly before she was born in an emergency cesarean section. She died in another clinic one hour away from my own ICU room.
But I had a near-death-experience after my own emergency operation because I was in the process of dying of internal bleeding.
In this near-death-experience, my daughter wasn't a baby, she was a beautiful young woman in the prime of her life.
She talked to me about accepting my fate and the circumstances of the accident when her father, my husband had left in shock after I had fallen onto the side of the bathtub with my pregnant belly when I was changing the diaper of our older toddler.
I was not ready to forgive anyone who had made a mistake, - let alone my husband.
Then she whispered a sentence that catapulted me into another dimension.
I was standing upright instead of laying down in my hospital bed. I was shown many things in that hall of truth.
I had been very proud and I was shown that I was a sinner as well as my husband. I was shocked by what I was shown. It was very painful to see how much I needed forgiveness without even being aware of it, judging others silently in my mind day in, day out, without uttering a single word about it, I was taking God's position to judge others....
In the end I was able to forgive my husband and peace was restored in my heart and my family.
My daughter was my guardian angel.

How great is our God , He leads us and guides us and gives us life in so many ways, the diversity that is humanity so complex and yet in Him so profoundly knitted together. Amen! Thank you in love my brother! Yes Praise God for the hard times and the times of various adversities! Because if not for my hard times would i ever have turned to God? Without my brokenness would i have? I honestly dont know. But i do know that hard times are meant for our benefit to a very high degree! They teach us patience they teach us self control and many many things! Now while we are going through them it can be extremely difficult! But i have learned that when i Praise God in the midst of adversity when the true realization hits that God has this God is bigger than any earthly issue when i Praise God i am lifted spiritually out of my problem! When we praise God in adversity our peace and joy abounds even then! What a mighty God we serve! Praise God and Praise Yeshua Messiah! Remember Noah preached about the floods to the people as he was building the ark for 120 years.God gave the people time to repent but they refused and many perished.
God also gave us a good example during jonahs time.God was about to punish the people of nineveh but he gave them time through Jonah to preach to them.Nineveh heard the message and repented and they were saved God did not punish them.

As a Jew, I carefully and diligently read the OT and NT, because the Christians made so many claims that Jesus is God and beyond that they blatantly also claimed that Jesus was the Messiah of Israel. That was a serious claim that needed to be resolved and investigated.
Well, after a careful consideration and long journey of studying my Sacred Scriptures, namely the Hebrew Bible and then compare it with NT texts and letters. I found that Jesus was not God neither the messiah Ben David. That was a miracle for me because God opened my heart and eyes to see the real truth who truly is the only God , Hashem alone and who is truly is my people Israel as stated Jesus himself in John 17:3 and John 20:17 and Matthew 10:5,6 and Matthew 15:24 and Acts 3:26,27 ; 1Peter 2:9
I said it is a miracle because billion of people and thousand of Israeli Jews have embraced Christianity being misled and led astray as how Hosea 4:5,6 prophesied.
One thing I admire in Jews. His father CRIED, when he heard his son converting! Can you imagine that in other religions?
Yes the Messiah will do a miracle. Sarah will speak. She will be able bodied and proclaim the holy name of Jesus to the whole world just like my grandson Samuel will do in the name of Jesus Amen and Amen.

The messiah is a jewish term. The messiah will be for Jews. Not gentiles. The messiah dies not need to have magic powers or sorcery. Like King Cyrus, the Messiah will be powerful. Ask the real Jews.
