It's exciting, but at the same time, because of the growing capacity of the Deluge, I really feel like often - I'm not keeping up with the developments, and can't always wrap my head around it. Very cool to see/hear what's possible......I guess I just wish that it was easier to learn and remember all the possibilities and updates. So glad that there's someone like you who can Masterfully demonstrate all this........................(they should be paying you shiploads of money, as they don't really seem too good presenting info on their own device)
The basic functionality is the same as always. Bugs are being fixed, you don't need to explore any more if you don't want to. But these new functions are awesome, cherry picking advised. The company isn't coding this, it's volunteer based and there's a patreon. So I'm not getting paid for it at all no.
I realize that it's community firmware, but it's still going to boost interest and sales in the device......Yeah, I DO realize that it's not important to learn all the new opportunities. I'm just really old school (cuz I'm ancient), so I love using gear with the 'knob per function' vibe, instead of each pad/knob doing so many different things, .......once you remember how to navigate to it......

That's true.......but you do have to make other selections in order to have those pads do those certain things. I know that it's a lame criticism - glad to have the functionality, but there are time when I don't want to have to think or remember things to make music, and in the past, I could almost operate a lot of my gear with my eyes closed, so those days are gone...........No biggie, I still love my powerful, ever evolving and awesome sounding little black box from N.Z.
@@willswitchcraft it takes 1 second to set up. Making template file and setting as default then you dont have to do anything.

Outstanding! I am a fan of ARP but now very impressed by your use with Deluge. I have been looking for a Dawless piano roll and Deluge looks excellent - or is it just your expert use? How does the learning curve of Deluge compare with that of ARP?
Thanks for your question! The arp is so awesome yes. Deluge is probably the best ever. Feel free to watch my deluge bootcamp series to see learning curve. I personally think its one of the easiest gear but it can go very deep.
Would this workflow be possible to do without external devices going to line in? By using resampling?
The audio clip is recording the deluge output post fx, yes you can record anything not just line in

Sorry the question, but What is this magenta colored pad in the bottom of the right vertical raw ?
I use it, from grid view it is how you access the performance mode
